Great house and very caring owners

Andreas and Dorothee we're the best hosts that we have had in the 3 years we have been using HomeAway/VRBO. I was traveling my family and we would definitely stay with Andreas and Dorothee again. Their house had numerous activities for the kids all under 10. From board games, books and the great yard the time flew by. We were traveling by train and ended up being delayed by an hour after meeting at the property Andreas and Dorothee lead us to the local grocery store and help pick out groceries with us. The store was closing in 30 minutes and we would never have made it without there help. Our stay was most enjoyable. Thank you for a great time.

No better place to stay

We rented this apartment for 56 days and we were not disappointed. Andreas and Dorothee were excellent hosts and most helpful as the world battled the Corona virus pandemic. The accommodation is exactly as described and easy to locate. Dorothee met us there when we arrived and gave a comprehensive instructional walk round of the property. Rooms are large and nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are large, with walk-in showers and a plentiful supply of towels. Everywhere was very clean. Many basic food items were supplied for our arrival. The apartment is spacious and has wonderful views of the Bavarian Alps some 30 miles south. There are parking spaces for 4 cars. Numerous supermarkets and other stores are within a short drive. Munich city center is only 45 minutes away, while the beautiful towns of Garmisch, Oberammergau and Mittenwald are easily reached. Unfortunately for all concerned, places slowly closed due to the virus and Bavaria eventually locked down. During this period of change and uncertainty, Dorothee and Andreas could not have been more helpful and understanding. Only 25 days into our stay, we abandoned our stay in Eglfing and, most reluctantly, boarded a flight home. Overall, should we ever find ourselves returning to Bavaria, we would not hesitate to book this accommodation again.

Awesome location!

LOVED this house with a beautiful view of the Alps in a quiet location in a tiny Bavarian town! Great home base from which to sightsee. There's even a German-speaking bakery a few doors down with delicious cakes and pastries! There was plenty of room for my family of 9 to sleep comfortably, with a full bathroom on each floor, plus a half bath on the main level. Access to laundry was also appreciated. And the owner made sure we knew how to work everything properly with a tour upon arrival. I'd have stayed longer if we could! Highly recommend.

Wundervolle Herbstferien

Eine traumhaft schöne, moderne und saubere Unterkunft. Super ausgestattete Küche und herrlicher Blick z.B. beim Frühstück auf die Berge. Wir haben die Abende an der frischen Luft auf der Terrasse sehr genossen. Der nächste Urlaub dort ist schon in Planung.

Schöne, geräumige Wohnung mit toller Terrasse

Alles TipTop! Wir kommen definitiv wieder :) Großzügige Wohnung mit Platz für 6-8 Personen. Check-In war unkompliziert und ich durfte sogar mein Motorrad in die Garage stellen. Alles war sehr sauber und die Wohnung sehr gut ausgestattet mit den ganzen Kleinigkeiten, die man im Alltag so braucht.

Super schön gestaltete Wohnung in toller Lage

Wir waren mit 8 Personen für 4 Nächte in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern und schön gestaltet. Die Ausstattung innerhalb der Wohnung ließ keine Wünsche übrig, sodass man sich schnell heimisch fühlen konnte. Die Lage ist ruhig in einem kleinen Dorf. Von dort erreicht man mit dem Auto in ca. 50min Garmisch-Partenkirchen, 60min zum Schloss Neuschwanstein oder 40min nach München. Die Unterkunft lädt herrlich zum Entspannen am Staffelsee ein, der nur wenige Minuten entfernt liegt. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und kommunikativ. Alles in allem war es ein super Aufenthalt!

Wir waren mit 6 Erwachsenen, einem Kleinkind und einem Baby zu Gast. Alles war wie beschrieben. Die Unterkunft war sauber und ideal für Kinder. Die Spielebox im Kellerschrank haben wir leoder erst am vorletzten Abend entdeckt. Der Abenteuerspielplatz im Nachbarort ist 15 min entfernt u echt süß gemacht. Optimal für Kinder zwischen 2 u 12 Jahren. Am besten Stiefel u wasserfeste Kleidung mitnehmen. Beautiful Modern Country Home

This is a very high tech beautiful home out in the country with fantastic views of the Alps. The home is extremely clean, and quiet in a small village setting. Café is just down the street. The hosts, Andreas and Dorothee, were very helpful in suggesting places to see and restaurants to visit. Familienurlaub Weihnachten 2018

Die Wohnung ist noch schöner als die Bilder es wiedergeben, sie ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sie ist sehr sauber, so dass man sich nur wohlfühlen kann. Nur zu empfehlen! - TOP-Gastgeber! - 5 Sterne!!

Uns bleibt nichts anderes übrig als 5 Sterne für dieses Domizil und die Gastgeber zu geben! Wir verbrachten ein traumhaftes Wochenende an dem es uns an nichts fehlte. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber und gepflegt. Man spürt hier regelrecht die Leidenschaft, die die Gastgeber in dieses Objekt investieren. Aus diesem Grund und auch aufgrund der Gastfreundlichkeit der Vermieter fühlten wir uns an diesem Wochenende willkommen und pudelwohl! Vielen Dank nochmal für Alles!
