Wonderful holiday property

We loved our ten day stay here. Very nice property - clean, good quality furniture and fittings, spacious rooms, lovely communal garden and clean swimming pool overlooking the small shady (great for kids) beach. Groundsmen were friendly and helpful and our daily housekeeper was a very good cook too. Cannot fault it, would definitely return here.

Peaceful travellers

Property was mostly perfect for our needs. Loved the quiet, calm area. Would have liked to have had a screened entry, or AC in the main area as the space did get quite warm and with no screen on the patio doors, we could not leave the doors open for ventilation without lots of mosquitos. Otherwise, everything was great!

Couldn’t believe our luck!

I treated my daughters and granddaughters to a short respite from the cold wealthier scene and was over the moon to get a place looking just like what was advertised. We had a really awesome time. The housekeeper, J, was a godsend!

A WIN!!

My family and I stayed here while in JA for a funeral of a loved one and in addition to the location being ideal, the host, co-host and Miss Juanita the housekeeper were just amazing! I had questions prior to booking and they were quick in responding and they kept that line of communication opened prior to arrival and while we stayed at their beautiful, breath-taking property. The pictures does this place no justice, the name is quite fitting and as such our only regret is the occasion that brought us there so we’re looking forward to returning, as a family, to indulge in the serenity of this lovely escape on a more pleasant occasion.

Great Location

Before travel I had confirmed a late arrival at the property, with the host. Upon arrival, security knew nothing about it, but we were able to get things straightened out with a few telephone calls. The pictures on VRBO are true to the apartment. Juanita, the housekeeper came in and cooked for us every second day(at an additional charge) and her meals were all amazing! She kept the place clean. We loved the location because in addition to the pool there is a small man made cove for snorkeling/swimming. Johnson in security was very helpful to us as well as our driver Dwight, both of whom I’d like to give a shout-out to! The apartment was plenty big enough for 6 adults. There is a grocery store a short walk away as well as a couple restaurants.

Lovely stay at Serenity by the Sea

We spent great six days at Serenity by the Sea in Feb 2024. Our host Charmaine was very helpful with all our requests and made great suggestions and recommendations regarding transportation and sightseeing, for example. She hooked us up with Kay Robinson who organized our transfer to the apartment from Montego Bay Airport. Kay recommended us ”Know Jamaica Tours” and Mr. Javia Shawn for private tours around Ocho Rios. Mr. Shawn was a super nice person and real expert of the Jamaican culture and the sights around the area. We really recommend Know Jamaica Tours for private transfers around Ocho Rios area. The housekeeper Juanita at Serenity by the Sea took care of our family and she prepared us delicious Jamaican dishes and we were very fortunate to experience some authentic Jamaican home cooking with her. The apartment was clean and spacious with a nice view facing the ocean. Breakfasts and dinners at the terrace were wonderful. The small ocean bay in front of the pool was a big plus. Overall, we had unforgettable time at Serenity by the Sea and truly enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable and clean

My family and I spent 2 nights at Senerity by the Sea and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is very comfortable and clean, with a breathtaking view. We showed up earlier than planned as we had to check out of another location; the secuirty gaurd and housekeeper Juanita were very accomodating, allowing us to drop our stuff off while the location was still being prepped. Really wish we stayed longer. I fell asleep on the balcony while it was raining and while taking in the view... did I mention how comfortable it was there 😀. As soon as the rain stopped, the sun came out and made for a great opportunity to swim in the cove. It was great to see the new entry way into the water, which made it easier to get in. There are restaurants and grocery stores conveniently close by. The kitchen is fully stocked. Definitely worth checking out this place. The hosts are simply awesome and very responsive, which makes a difference. We will be back for sure.

An easy going, fun loving person, I absolute love my condo and so happy to share it with guests. I myself spend time here when I want to relax and enjoy the large space and the quiet serene nature of the property. My favorite space is to sit under the Sea grape trees by the private cove and watch the sea come in and out. The views are breath taking and I can never get enough of it. I am thrilled that I can share it with you and hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

The property is tucked away amid beautiful gardens and has its own private beach area with a 180 degree view of the ocean. With a large pool as an additional amenity, the atmosphere is serene and perfect for a relaxing stay. Located at the pool, there is a gas grill ($) located at the poolside that can be rented with sufficient notice given (two days) to the Sea Palms office. Please make early request for use.
The common areas are well maintained and all Co-vid 19 protocols are observed. Rules require that masks be worn in public areas and gatherings of 6 or more are not allowed at the pool or beach area. Rules are posted at the Pool lounge area. These are in place to ensure the safety of our guests

We ae pleased to welcome our guests who can choose from three bedrooms that house One King, One Queen and Two twin beds.

Pricing starts at up to 4 guests Add two persons to a maximum of 6 at an additional per person cost (Including children). The maximum number of persons in any one room is two (2). If four persons are booked, two rooms are assigned and one room locked off for the duration of the stay. If requiring the use all three rooms with up to four person booked, then please add at least one additional per person/rate to have access to the third room
Having listened to feedback from our guests, the living room as well as all three bedrooms now boast cable ready 28 to 40" televisions to allow for personalised TV watching!
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with all new electric stove, fridge & microwave, along with a toaster oven,coffee maker, pots, utensils, plates etc.
We offer the services of our housekeeper JUANITA, who will cook up appetizing dishes for 2 meals based on your request for fees starting at US$40.00 for 4-6 hours per day. Just bring your groceries with you. Tips paid directly to her are welcomed. 24 to 48 hours notice is required for this service.

Cleaning and change of linen is facilitated every third day during your stay.
Leave it to Juanita. She will take care of as little or as much of your in apartment cleaning needs while she is in unit. Laundry? Each wash/dry load is US$15.00 payable directly to the housekeeper

Toilet paper and soaps are replenished for stays up to 7 nights. Thereafter guests are responsible to replenish their own items. Shops are located nearby.

The property is well appointed and intimate and located off the A1 main road, 10 minutes by car east of bustling Ocho Rios, but there are nearby restaurants - a short walk across the main road at the recently renovated Summer House at Harmony Hall, PG's Italian Restaurant both in close proximity and right next door at Villa Viento, all in Tower Isle, Jamaica
