Ruby’s house is extra clean and comfortable , with a great outdoor covered seating area and a rocker filled back porch thats a great spot to watch the day end. This property is directly across the road from harrahs Cherokee casino and all the restaurants and events harrahs offers while having a private yard and the green lush beauty of the great smokie mts. One mile from downtown Cherokee, 2 miles from southern entrance of GSMNP.

House was roomier than it looked on line. Host was very good communicating up to arrival. After that I did not get responses. The master bathroom sink does not drain which was not a deal breaker yet annoying. Location was perfect and instructions as well. I would stay there again.

Second time being here and was just as amazing as the firsr time. Host communication is top notch. Easy walk to the casino. Home was clean and plenty of amenities that you would need. Highly recommend and will be back again.

Did not visit the national park. Kitchen was clean. TV reception was terrible. Outdoor guy was great!Entire house was dated but very clean. Enjoyed our stay . House met our needs.

Fun for the 4th!

We had a delightful time in Cherokee over the 4th weekend. We really enjoyed the house and especially the 2 outdoor spots. We would love to stay here again next year.If any improvements are planned in the future I would suggest a new shower head in the master bath, an AC unit in the front bedroom and upgrading the TV’s with Roku or Amazon fire stick or new smart tv’s. Trust me, no issues at all with the house and everyone enjoyed the stay.

Great location to casino

Very nice property. It was quiet and clean. Only complaint was it had a little musty smell due to the age of the home. The porch was amazing and we enjoyed hanging out on the patio.

Highly recomment

This property is in a great location. It was very clean, the beds are comfortable, and there is plently of room for family or friends. We went with 2 other couples. We highly recommend, and plan on staying here again in the future.

Very comfortable!

We had a very pleasant stay. We loved the outdoor spaces. Used the grill one evening for dinner and it was very clean and easy to use. Rooms and beds very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Host very nice and was easy to communicate with and very responsive. would highly recommend this place to stay in Cherokee.

Great Homey atmosphere

Great location right near the casino. Great outside sitting area and everything you need for a weekend away in the mountains while you enjoy walking distance to the casino and the beautiful mountains stream for fly fishing at a great value

Wonderful private retro home with everything you need.

The house location couldn’t be more perfect. It’s in the center of Cherokee and near the casino, yet it’s very private. I grew up in a house like this and loved the way Janean is keeping it as true to it's history as possible. The house was very clean and we loved sitting in the rockers on the back outdoor porch. While on the back porch we saw visiting rabbits and a family of deer two of our mornings. What a treat. The memorabilia of Ruby's life and her struggles and accomplishments makes this house really special. Janean worked with us adding an extra day due to the logistics of getting there after Hurricane Helene. It's a beautiful area of NC with many shops and we enjoyed driving around seeing this wonderful area.
