FEET from the Silver Lake Sand Dune Entrance!

Enjoy a large open floor plan in this 1400sq ft cottage built in the 2003. New floors 2022. A perfect entertainment living with comfortable furnishings and 75” TV with access to your favorite streaming services. Amenities include Central Air Conditioning, 2 full bathrooms, laundry room, well-equipped kitchen, and a 2 car-garage. You can comfortably seat and entertain 10-12 people in the living room and kitchen. BBQ is available for use on the back patio, but plan to bring your own propane in case we are out. Ample parking is available in the front yard for up to 4 vehicles and 2 large trailers. We can help with additional parking accommodations if notified in advance. Sleep space includes 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, and 2 twin beds. There is also floor space in 2 bedrooms for you to bring and blow up 1 queen air mattress and 1 full air mattress. Coffee maker, Toaster, and general kitchen needs are on site. The house is behind Silverback Off-road Rentals use that for GPS purposes until the address is automatically sent to you!

The whole house was very dirty, definitely not cleaned before we arrived. The showers and beds were full of dirt and hair. We spent a large amount of time cleaning just to make it hospitable for our family. Wouldn't recommend unless you are there to party and want to be close to the dunes. Even then for the price you likely have other options. Just yuck.

We enjoyed our stay here, plenty of room for five of us and our two dogs. Really liked being able to keep our atv's in the garage at night and while we did other things away from the cabin. Everything was clean and tidy and was comfortable with central A/C.Thanks!

House is a fantastic location to dunes access. There were a few days we needed to head back to the house and it was great being able to walk. It is furnished with basic items you need. The VRBO site states king bed in master, but it is a much smaller bed. No complaints, but just sharing information. There was plenty of parking for our truck and trailer plus our Bronco. The host is very responsive to messages and so very accommodating if needed. Great house with great location to dunes access. The neighborhood is quiet and a great place to walk. We will definitely book again. Our family travels yearly to Silver Lake so it’s great to find a place that fits our needs perfectly!

Perfect for our family vacation really enjoyed our stay. Perfect communication with owner. Cabin is really nice perfect layout! Kitchen stock good with supplies. I did take my own laundry detergent and dryer sheets. But they did have some there as well. We were able to vacuum and try to keep things cleaned up best as possible but it is a sandy area!! We had a great time.

Perfect setting, sparse accommodations

You couldn't get much closer to the dunes than this home. It was perfect for running back and forth to use the restroom. Plenty of space to park multiple vehicles.The home is VERY minimalistic. Just a bed in one bedroom, and two beds in another. The master was better. The 4th bedroom's bed was comical - super squishy and loud. One couple opted to forgo the larger bed and pushed the 2 twins together. There was no place to set an alarn clock or glasses at night in the bed only bedrooms. It was impossible to cook for our group of 6. 2 small skillets and a pot. Plus there were only 5 plates. We hit the Dollar General and bought baking pans and paper plates.

Really great location

If you need a close spot to the dunes, this is it. Walkable to the dunes parking lot. Very nice inside. The beds were all too small for our preference and we are tv people so we would have liked tv in the bedroom. But it’s was great for our quick weekend. Plenty of room to park a big (36’) trailer and truck, easy access. Nice place to walk dogs. We didn’t really stay long enough to use anything in the kitchen, and we usually pack our own paper products so we didn’t really get a chance to notice that, but there was sufficient paper towel and toilet paper for us. Thanks for a great stay!

This VRBO was perfect for our group of friends. We enjoyed being together in the spacious living room, gathering around the fire, and cooking together in the kitchen. We were seconds from the dune entrance so it made life way easier for those with kids who needed naps throughout the day. We cannot wait to be back!

Perfect house for the dunes

This house was perfect for our trip to silver lake sand dunes. It is about 2 blocks from the dune ORV entrance so we rode in and out and did not have to trailer. There was plenty of parking in the front. 5 trucks, 4 trailers and 6 SXS’s. The house was spacious with an open layout and big living room and kitchen. Big island in the kitchen was perfect to hang around and snack.The garage was available if we needed to work on anything. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Great location!

This was our third year staying at this property. It did not disappoint, although there were a few things we were not prepared for. In prior years, there have been garbage bags and basic kitchen needs available (ziplocks, Saran, etc). This year it seemed as if they completely cleaned out every cabinet. We had to go up town and buy garbage bags and a few other things. No big deal, but something to be aware of. Other than that, we love the availability of the fire pit for the front and the backyard, the quick ride to the dunes (perfect for sunset cruisin), and the stick vacuum to pick up all the sand we trail in! Thank you for another great stay at silver lake :) Will definitely be staying next year!

Super close to the dunes and right in a great neighborhood with great neighbors! Easy check in process. And communication was outstanding!

Needs Help

The property is very close to the Dunes, which was nice. A mouse had chewed a small bag of flour, left droppings and wasn't caught by your clean up crew. A large bowl for salad/pancake batter, set of knives, and directions for the coffee maker would have helped. We were happy we brought our own griddle and frypan. The double bed is very uncomfortable and makes noise when turning over. The large space for parking was terrific. We also enjoyed the fire pit. A few more chairs around the table would help. It would also help if the outdoor light switch could be marked since it was hard to know when it was off. Thanks again for allowing us to have fun on the Dunes.

Perfect location to the dunes!

We have stayed here twice now & will keep returning as long as they will have us. It’s a SUPER short distance to the dunes entrance, which makes it an easy “home base” for everyone. We had a rainy day during our stay and the garage was a perfect hang out spot when we couldn’t ride. The hosts are always extremely fast at responding and flexible with check in’s/outs. I would recommend this house for anyone with a large group wanting to come to the dunes for a weekend riding trip. It’s perfect!

Dune ready with a garage

This property is a great location for dune ready access and outdoor activity. It’s comfortable and spacious inside with an open floor plan. We loved all of the parking for our trucks and trailers. The house has been newly remodeled and the garage was great for entertainment and socializing. We would definitely book again!

Great location! Spacious house for family!

We will definitely be renting this place again! We were able to ride our SXS right up to the dune entrance, no need to trailer it! There was plently of parking spaces for our trailer and cars! The house was clean and spacious, perfectly sized for my family and my parents. Thank you for a great place for out last weekend on the dunes!

Perfect setup for a dunes trip

Not having to trailer our machines in and out of the dunes was very nice. The garage came in real handy for some late night wrenching we had to do. House was clean and overall very nice!!

Nice Place to Stay

The property is in a great location and has plenty of room for hanging out. Everything was very nice and exactly as advertised. My only complaint would be that the floors were very dirty to the point we took it upon ourselves to clean them the first day we were there. I am sure it was a over site given that fact that everything was clean and taken care of. We will be back.
