Welcome to your home away from home in Colorado! Step inside and immediately feel the warmth and comfort. Unwind on the inviting covered front patio or the back patio, perfect for quality time with loved ones. Inside, you'll find a well-furnished retreat with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, including a king bedroom upstairs, a queen bedroom upstairs, and a twin trundle bed downstairs. The fully stocked kitchen is ready for your culinary adventures, and 2 smart TVs offer entertainment options. Relax and make unforgettable memories in this cozy haven. *Please note - this home does not have central AC it is equipped with room AC units

All net proceeds from renting Charlie's place go to support his daughter and her future. Charlie was only 27 when he was tragically taken from his family/friends. His dream was to be an investor and this home was the first of what would have been many for him. He never got the pleasure of even making his first mortgage payment! But, his dream lives on as does the legacy he has started for his daughter. We and the family appreciate your stay at Charlie's Place.

Beautiful home! Everything was great. I only had to drive two hours to the snow because it didn’t snow in the area around this time of the year. The house is pet friendly, it has a pet smell so if you have an allergic reaction to dogs or other animals you may not want to stay there. My daughter suffered from it the whole time but good thing we had Benadryl so it calmed her allergies down at night. I loved the garage but I couldn’t figure out how to get it to work. The front door took a little minute to figure out but if you’re patient you’ll get it to work just follow the directions. I could actually stay in this home for a long period of time. The host is very friendly and responsive. I would have stayed my whole trip here if the price was in my budget so with that being said make sure you plan ahead. The kitchen was fully stocked even has seasonings. This house has a very great romantic setting. Also the neighborhood is very quiet.

Worked well for our needs, close to base, hot tub, quiet neighborhood only issue was garage door opener didn’t work and the key pad needed a battery change maybe.

Great value

We enjoyed the house, we had a couple extra friends that tagged along after our mountain adventures earlier in our trip and the house accommodated this size of grou perfectly (5 people). The neighborhood is a little rough, but so is 50% of Colorado springs and the price reflects it. The house doesn't have central air so there are a/c units in each room which was weird at first, but it helped me sleep in the end because of the sound. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Great location

Great location for all the site seeing. House was well kept. Backyard was great for our dogs who came along with us. Only negative thing I could say is they had some old fencing laying in backyard with lots of nails pointing up so we had to move it around so our dogs wouldn’t step on the nails.

Cozy place to stay

Great location, just 15 minutes from Peterson SFB. We came to see our daughter stationed there. House is clean and cozy. Comfy beds. Nice spaces for our family. Quiet neighborhood.

Christmas Vacation

This house was great for our family to stay in as we visited our two children that live in Colorado Springs. It was also very nice to be able to bring our small dog with us in which she felt right at home with the spacious house, and backyard. I would suggest more trash bags, toilet paper, etc we stayed 5 days and ran out. The neighbor also parks in front of the house which was a little inconvenient. But the house as a whole is wonderful nicely decorated and has plenty of utensils to cook with as we cooked the whole time we were there. Also it is very convenient to places such as Walmart, eateries, and gas stations.

Small home and bedrooms in a tight neighborhood. Home needs a little loving care but overall it was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a nice extra.

Very comfortable and homey

Great property! Loved the fenced backyard for our dogs, the hot tub was amazing! Outdoor table and chairs on the covered deck was perfect no matter what time of day. The beds were comfortable and we were very comfortable. Communication was a little lack luster. Had to send a few messages to make sure someone had seen our requests. Other than that, the pictures are true to what you get. Great neighborhood and close the the military base. Would definitely book again.

Great place right outside Colorado Springs

About an hour from Denver but 10 minutes into Colorado springs or Manitou. Place is great and hot tub is a wonderful addition. Only complain is it could use more throw blankets for downstairs and the light switches are located in strange places! That’s all no big deal tho! Loved it!

Overall great, but a few suggestions

Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed this property. We brought our 2 dogs and the fenced yard was great for them to run around in. The local Pub Dog place was great! I would agree with another review that there is a bit of disrepair from renters such as a worn through spots on the countertop, missing microwave handle, broken fridge shelving, etc., but those did not detract from our stay. I might suggest adding some more hot tub plasticware (only 2 cups) and cooking utensils (no spatula, whisk broken, sparce options). We did not see any hot tub towels, so we used the bathroom towels. The hot tub was great! Also, some tissues might be nice to have on hand. The dog bed was a nice surprise and appreciated! We truly appreciate the hospitality! Thank you!

Enjoyed our stay!

It was a ok place. Pictures looked better than the actual place. Had small pet and back yard was not very nice. Very little grass for pet and holes in the wood fence in numerous places. Lots of dog barking early in the morning in this neighborhood.

Nice place.

The property was very nice and in good condition. Nice neighborhood. Neighbors were out occasionally, friendly, and quiet. Only thing I would caution is that if you have someone with trouble with stairs, you may want to look elsewhere because the stairs here are steep. Other than that I highly recommend this property.
