Relax with the whole family at this peaceful waterfront retreat. This cute cottage is tucked away from the hustle of everyday life on a shallow back cove. Find shade under one of the 15 dogwood trees on the property or unwind on the screened in porch. The property includes two kayaks and a canoe that can be put in the water right next to their storage. Only 5 minutes to Mud Creek boat ramp and 10 minutes to the heart of Scottsboro! Perfect for the sportsman that wants to take advantage of the incredible fishing here!

Very nice , very well equipped house next to the Tennessee River. Including two BBQ grills and smoker. House is in a small very quiet area 5 minutes from Scottsboro.

Cute Cottage

This property was very clean and nicely decorated! It was located in a peaceful, quiet area with views of the mountains and lake. But it was also conveniently close to Scottsboro for shopping, dining, etc.

Nice and clean

This was a perfect location for the area we were fishing. It was well equipped with everything you would need. It was very clean and orderly. It would have had an excellent rating if it wasn’t just a little tricky to park the boat.

Perfect Hideaway

My Husband and I Took his mother and our two small dogs with us to visit family who live in the same road for the 4th of July and we could not have asked for a more relaxing and very comfy place to stay that gave us the opportunity to be close to the family . This home was perfect for us. The only issue was the refrigerator leaked the first day but we cleaned it up and put a towel down to catch any other water but it only did it that the one time. Very quiet area and the lightning bugs were beautiful at night. We love this area of Alabama and this home and will be coming back .

we were told it was on the lake and I was so excited to be able to do some fishing and enjoy myself. This is not true. It is not on a lake just a small slew. I tried to fish some but I did not see any fish. My wife cannot go up stair steps without a hand rail. The bedroom was upstairs and there was not a hand rail so she had to sleep on a very uncomfortable sofa. we left the next day.

Great Trip

Wonderful property, with a beautiful view. Plenty of space for the three of us and our two furboys to be close, and to spread out. Close enough to Scottsboro to make a quick hop to my dad's house easy. Didn't get a chance to try out the watercraft although one of the girls wanted to; she said it was too cold for her though.

Unplugged

This home is a pleasant, private, and peaceful get away! We really enjoyed the quiet lakeside comfort, and being able to sit in the shade, and feel and listen to the breeze by the campfire between fishing, kayaking, and cooking. Our family Loved the accommodations, and are looking forward to the next time!!!

My wife and I have dreamed about owning a lake property since we first started dating 8 years ago. We fell in love with this cottage at first sight of any to be able to share our vacation spot when we are not using.

We loved the quite shaded lot littered with over a dozen dogwoods. The cottage feels very private while being extremely close to mud creek boat ramp and the town of Scottsboro.
