Concrete pad for extra parking and/or camper. Out building facilitates larger family gatherings! Perfect for family reunions! Views of mountain Rushmore only minutes hike from your doorstep- for those who are a little more adventurous- go at night at see it lit up! Plenty of room to have your own space, but great communal areas to make this a vacation to remember! Lots of extras! Kids will enjoy the gnome hunt and eagles nest kids' area! Close to all the attractions!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house had so many different indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces for our family to spread out and enjoy, plus the location was great - close to Keystone, Mt. Rushmore, and Custer State Park.

50th Anniversary Celebration

Home was so comfortable and every amenity plus provided! I had shared we were celebrating with children and grandchildren our 50th anniversary. We found a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses to greet us. Plenty of comfortable beds, very clean. I would highly recommend this location.

Perfect getaway at a convenient location for all our sightseeing

It was a comfortable home for a place to relax after our day-long sightseeing, make a family meal, hike, and use the hot tub. It was a perfect home for us with plenty of personal spaces to get away from each other if we needed it. I would definitely stay here again!

New Years Weekend

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house very much. It gave all the families plenty of there own space. Everyone enjoyed the hiking and the views of Mt. Rushmore. Would absolutely recommend this property for any type of family gathering.

Family Christmas

Everyone enjoyed our stay. We were wowed by the lovely Christmas decorations and hominess feel. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kids enjoyed the game room and they had access to WFI. The hot tub was a plus. Made our Christmas extra special.

Keystone House

Three generations of our family enjoyed this Keystone House. Lots of room to roam on the property and in the house. You can show up with your suitcase and some groceries and you’re all set. The house has everything you need beyond that. That was very much appreciated! I did expect this 10 star house to be slightly cleaner than it was. I wiped a few things down and we carried on with our vacation. Great memories were made by all.

Making family memories

We booked this trip to take my parents to see the beautiful South Dakota. My dad has suffered a couple strokes and we wanted to take him on this trip while he is still able. It was an amazing trip and memories that we all will cherish. This house is located near keystone where we enjoyed dinner and live music one evening as well as easy access to Custer state park and Mount Rushmore. We enjoyed the fire pit and star grazing. We did the hike to see Mt Rushmore several times. This home has everything you need and plenty of room for everyone. Megan is a great host and quickly responded to all of my questions.

Vacation stay

We spent a week at this house on a family vacation. The driveway is extremely steep. It was advertised as air conditioning but there was only 1 small window air in the loft. We ended up not using the loft as the stairs to the loft are very narrow. The basement did stay cooled off most of the time. The upstairs was 85 degrees majority of our stay. Overall, the house was nice but could use some good cleaning. There was a lot of dust and spiderwebs all over. I also suggest not planning on using the washing machine. We attempted to use it a few times as we had young children. The washer wouldn’t start most of the time and when it did, left our clothes dirtier than before.

Wonderful house in the forest!

We had a great week in the Keystone house! 3 couples and 4 kids. The house is big and roomy, well stocked, a beautiful setting. Keystone is near all the great attractions, Mt Rushmore, Custer Natl Park, Caves, lakes, hikes, trail riding etc. We enjoyed the house as much as all the sights. Hiking and exploring, big fire pit outside for evening s’mores, hot tub. You can’t go wrong renting this wonderful property!

Surprise Birthday Trip

This was a great location for our Dad’s surprise 85th birthday. The cabin had plenty of room for all 11 of us. We ventured to the prayer rock on the property and took in the beautiful view of Mount Rushmore. Loved seeing the wildlife that wondered through the yard. Megan was awesome and understanding when a snow storm rolled in and we had to stay a bit longer after checkout due to our route back to Idaho was closed. Definitely a wonderful place to stay.

Wonderful Thanksgiving Celebration with Family !

Loved the place and beauty of landscape. Some missed watching TV, but overall experience great ! Hot tub, fire pit, swing on back porch, games, kitchen stocked well, beds good all contributed. Thx !!!!

Our family of 5 fell in love with this area in 2020 when my husband opened a business in Rapid City. Over the past year we dreamed about having a place here of our own, and after lots of prayer, God provided this wonderful home! We want to turn around and bless other families and friend groups coming to the area with a place that they can not only relax but feel taken care of. We provide lots of extras to make this place not just a stay but an experience where you will take away treasured memories! We have luxury sheets and Pendleton blankets, games, TVs (though you won't need them because there is so much to do!), great space for kids to stretch out and play, maps and detailed excursions to help you plan your days and some other fun surprises to discover as you take in the majesty of the 3+ acres!

This property has it all. The moment you step out of your car, you can hear the wind whistle through the trees and it immediately calms your soul! There is ample parking, great hiking from the property where you can choose a few minutes hike up the mountainside, or cross over into forestry land and go as long as you'd like! There is a special spot named Prayer Rock that is a quick 10 min hike from your back door that is not just a great look out, but lends to views of Mount Rushmore! If you are extra adventurous, try a night hike when Mount Rushmore is lit!
You have plenty rooms to spread out, a large fire pit to make smores or cozy up around, and great outdoor spaces to enjoy your morning coffee and spy on the deer that pass through frequently! There is also a large Morton Building for your use, whether you have bikes to store, or need more space for big meals! We have several tables and chairs- even for the younger kids!
This place is close to it all! And the drives to get here will take your breath away. Feel free to message us for all the details! We love helping people get the most out of their vacations here!
