Weekend Away!

Overall this was a perfect spot to stay, it had everything we needed. My one and only complaint is that there didn’t seem to be anything close by as far as groceries, liquor store etc. we were from out of town and flew in so we didn’t have a vehicle. It really wasn’t that big of a deal though really! Can’t complain about much!

Nice little place, had everything we needed and was very close to T-mobile park which was the main reason for being in the area. Nice having a parking spot too. Communication was great with the owner. Would stay there again if in the neighborhood. Thank you Vince!

Quick Trip

The check in process was great. Close to downtown and clean. Only minor issue I had was that there was a light out, but wasn’t there long enough to really impact my stay. Overall great experience and I would stay there again next time I go to Seattle.

Comfortable stay

The place is in a nice area and within walking distance to the light link where you can get to just about anywhere in Seattle. We went to the mariners game and took the light link with no problem. Vince was very helpful when we had questions.

Clean and comfortable. Owner communication was good. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Good beds. Only thing i would recommend is that owner added basic TV for anyone not travelling with a TV stick.

Great place to stay

This was a great alternative to our typical hotel stays when visiting family for the holidays. Huge comfy couch, large kitchen, and comfy bed. The area was good for walking the dog. One of the only drawbacks was the noise from the nearby street and overhead airplanes, at times. We used a provided fan at night as white noise, which worked beautifully. Not a major drawback but enough to mention. Overall a great experience and we would happily stay again.

Well managed property

The host was responsive to communications and reached out often. The place had clean facilities and was well located within a 13 minute walk of the beacon hill light rail stop on the 1 (green line). The bathroom was stocked with soap and q tips, the kitchen with utensils, spices, and the living room had a nice table for playing board games with a ac unit and big screen tv. Would stay again. Some minor nitpicks are things beyond the reasonable control of the host but would have made the stay better: 1: the ac unit was loud so whenever we wanted to hear the television or not shout to talk we had to turn it off. But we also loved being cool so we turned it back on when needed. A more quiet unit/central air would have been great. 2: Access to laundry machines.

Great weekend

Had a great time, was a little weary of the neighbourhood when we pulled up, but the unit is super clean and modern. The neighbourhood is quiet and appears friendly. We went to a Seahawks game and took an Uber there, only cost $13, so super close to DT. The only thing was the main room heater, once it reaches the temp requested it buzzes on and off repeatedly until we lower it. Then when it reached that temp, it would buzz on and off until we upped it to the requested temp. So the night we spent in we had to repeatedly increase and lower the heat - a little obnoxious. but should be an easy fix. Other than that the stay was great. Beds are comfy, smelled super clean. LOVE the Nespresso machine and the provided pods! thank you for a great stay!

Good for a short stay

Will start with the pros: easy access to attractions in downtown Seattle (stadium etc). The place was clean when we checked in and the host was very communicative. Accommodated early check in which we appreciated. The washer and dryer in the unit was also nice. There were also free coffee pods which we didn’t use. Cons: We arrived during a heat wave and the two bedrooms had table fans. One of them vibrates so violently it looked like it was possessed. Communicated this to the host but nothing was done to repair or replace despite a few requests. Sleeping through the night was very uncomfortable. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy. Saw a bunch of homeless people doing drugs in the open a few blocks away. But I suppose that is Seattle in general these days. A few other minor things. The TV is a bit old and apparently you have to bring your own usb streaming stick. There were a couple missing blinds in one of the bedrooms and they wouldn’t close all the way. Noticed a hole in the ceiling and a few bumps in the flooring. Not a huge deal but communicated immediately to the host. Overall I’d say if you’re planning to spend a couple of days in Seattle this place is good but more than that maybe not.

Close but no Cigar

The update to this property was nice...in the kitchen. The bathroom looked like it was the last room to be done and therefore done hastily and messy. The light fixture has paint around the entire rim and there is drywall mud and paint still on the floor. The baseboards trim in the shower, and floor were dirty as well. The heater turned on and off every 10 seconds or so. After much communication with the owner it never was resolved, and very disrupting. The couch was covered in crumbs when we arrived and the cushions are torn. The blinds on the slider will not open or close, making it hard to slide them open as well. The condition of the unit when we arrived makes me question where the over $100 cleaning fee goes. If you stay here be prepared for a lot of planes going over, and bring extra blankets, there are no extra linens or blankets. We struggled to get Netflix to connect so were stuck watching the basic channels. I really hate giving bad reviews and rarely have to do so but we just did not have a good experience at this vrbo. Having said all that, the beds were comfortable and the headboard in one of the bedrooms was very neat.

All you need with easy downtown access

Parking is tricky-make sure you have a small car. Bathroom has some paints spots on the floor. But perfect for walking to light rail to Seattle downtown, clean and quiet. Beds very comfortable. We made meals easily. What more do you need? Would use again!

Family get away

This property has a great open concept for family to gather. It contains all your basic needs. It is close to downtown by car. This property could easily become 5 star with little effort. To improve I would recommend some patio furniture out back. A place to gather outside. A better TV system. Very hard for out of country and older people to navigate. As well as entry code made available earlier. Younger generation may be able to navigate these issues easier but non tech savvy individuals like myself had some issues. I do not have a us phone. So some difficulty. Home was very clean attention to detail does exist. Beds comfy. But there was some annoying ventilation sound we could not detect or stop.

Everything was wonderful & we had a great time during our stay. The parking spot is a little scary because of the extreme incline, but that is not the owners fault in the slightest. We would stay again for sure!

Serviceable but in need of an update

The location was easy to get to even though the parking is on a hill, our Prius was able to make it. The place looks exactly like the pictures. The couch was comfortable and the beds had memory foam mattresses (I thought was comfortable, but my other family member did not). The hosts were nice enough to send a welcome guide that explains what they have and how to use it, but herein lies the problem. First, they had said they had a roku tv and no local channels, however it was exactly the opposite. The TV didn't have any apps (except Netflix which kept having an error so we couldn't get it to work) and only had local channels which broke up on certain stations. They also claimed to have an Alexa, but we never found it. There was also rules for sorting and recycling garbage into the correct color bins, however in the apartment there was two blue bins, and a white bin ( white was never mentioned. There was no green to put food/compose. And there was no black for regular garbage) we sorted the best we could, but I think having the color bins in the apartment would help with sorting. The heating system was also weird as any time we tried to turn the heat up, it would click on for 3 seconds then cut off for 5 minutes, then repeat. We never tried the air unit since it was never warm enough. Now comes to the things that need to be repaired. The tub drain didn't lock in place which forced us to take only showers. One of the bedroom doors refused to stay shut, as every time I'd close it at night, it would be cracked open in the morning. One of the blinds in the back bedroom was just laying over a chair ( I had let the owner know about it) which didn't bother us, just odd. The biggest gripe I have is by far the dishwasher. So we were told in our check out instructions to wash our dishes or load and run the dishwasher. So we decided to load the dishes the night before we left. First, there were dirty dishes in there from the previous people who stayed ( it was no longer a mystery why we only had 3 coffee cups available). So we loaded our dishes in to wash ours and the people before. However none of the buttons worked except "Quick Wash" so we click that one. Fast forward to the morning and we find out the only thing the dishwasher did was wet the dishes. The tablet we put in wasn't even dissolved. This lead to us washing all dishes by hand. The final thing was most of the outlet plugs didn't work which made it hard to charge our stuff.
