Great Location

Just around 30 minutes from New River Gorge NP. Had a great time exploring the park. Also there are quite a few restaurants not too far from the property which was a nice bonus.

Travelled with my 80 year old parents to celebrate my.son graduation from WVU Tech. The location was great. Super close to campus, to Uptown Dish for breakfast and hiked some state parks. The Mine Exhibition Tour was top notches. And the house, positively perfect!

The home was right in town, close to restaurants and shopping. The home was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay plus more! Communication was excellent- you can’t go wrong here!

Convenient house for Briday party

Our daughter got married this weekend in Beckley. We needed a place close to the Tamarak and to the Church. This was a convenient place for both. Thanks for letting us stay.

Older home but with upgrades. The house was comfortable- especially the beds! Good location close to town. Driveway is a bit narrow, but typical of homes of the time.

Great weekend away

The house was exactly as advertised!! The home was very clean, cozy and conveniently located... close to plenty of restaurants and a quick drive to the areas ski restort! The only down side for us the parking. We drive a large vehicle and parking was difficult, especially with someone being parked out front on both side of the driveway. We managed but it was tighter then we envisioned. The beds were pretty firm but the bedding so so soft and clean! We'd definitely rent here again if in the area.

Property is an older style house, in need of some repair in areas eg fencing , shower head , neat and well stocked with kitchen basics and utensils . Had an issue with stains on the top quilt , owner was quick to supply details of where to get an locate another quilt

My daughters and I found the house to be very nice. The snacks on the dining room table were certainly not expected and a nice welcome. The only thing that I saw that might need a little attention is the railing on the front steps. It is a little wobbly - needs a little attention. Otherwise, it was a great house for us.

Perfect place for a stay in Beckley

I was fortunate to find this property after 6 days in a hotel. My Dad was out of State when a medical emergency occurred landing him in ICU. Throughout our stay, the owners were quick to respond, displayed empathy and were flexible when we needed to extend our stay twice. The home met all of our needs for a 7 day stay. The kitchen is furnished with all of the basics and having access to a washer/dryer was a big plus. The front porch and back patio provided a wonderful place to relax, especially under the circumstances of the stay. The beds are comfortable and linens/towels were provided. While we only needed 2/3 beds one of the rooms has two queen beds and it’s a nice room if you are traveling with kids. The location is convenient and central in Beckley. I highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed.

The outside was very disappointing. The back deck area was not maintained. The wooden deck was covered in green mold. The back yard fence into the woods was torn down half-way sagging. The seating in the front door area was stained and dirty. Outside seating areas are not as pictured. The inside of the house was clean. The bed linens were very nice.

Spacious Home

This home was nice and spacious for our family of 4. Loved the extras the homeowner provided at check in. The home was close to the New River Gorge and Winterplace, both places we wanted to visit. It was a little hard backing into the driveway as the neighbors parked in the street while we were there. The neighborhood was older with some homes being fixed up and some were not. It was located right by the college. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nice and large. We had an enjoyable stay!
