Our time was amazing. Our family enjoyed the stay very much. We had an amazing time hanging out on the patio. The use of the kayak and galf cart was great. Playing jenga was fun. Catching fish was our main attraction.

Wonderful weekend getaway

Kids loved the swing over the water - my son fished in the canal for hours. I enjoyed the hot tub and the beach was a quick 3 min golf cart ride away. We had a great time and were able to bring the dog too which was great. Kids loved the double bunk bed rooms. Great family weekend getaway.

Perfect for the kids!

From the bunk room to the rope swing, the kayaks, crab traps, pool, & golf carts, this hone had everything we needed to keep our kids happy & engaged! It was a perfect family getaway before sending our oldest off to college!

Great Galveston Canal House

We had a great time with our group of 5! The house can easily accommodate more if people want to share rooms. The property is beautiful and in a great location. It is decorated and equipped nicely. The only issue is there were no dish towels and limited kitchen supplies (but also one of the best spice cabinets we’ve ever seen). Also, we paid the extra amount for the hot tub and it wasn’t ready (not heated) when we arrived.

Family weekend in Galveston

Largest house we have ever rented for our family of 6 but our SIL really wanted the fishing lights. We had plenty of room to spread out. We rented the hot tub, but probably wouldn’t again. The included golf cart was great to get to the beach but really a long haul to get over to the Marina at sea Isle or anything because you can’t have a golf cart on the highway- so bit remote . We had 2 times where we got a little bit away from the house and suddenly the golf cart went into power saver mode and we feared not getting back to the house but we did. So charge the cart fully each time before leaving. we left one time w the charge at 98% and it suddenly went down. Take wine glasses and openers as the house only had 2 wine glasses and no opener. Most everything else was supplied but no clothes detergent for the washer and dryer. Would absolutely stay again.

Vacation review

The property was beautiful and exactly as described. The additional amenities are a bonus although it was too cold to take advantage of most of them (kayaks, paddle boat, bicycle). We had a blast on the golf cart driving to the beach and the new hot tub was amazing.

He is an Architect and has attention to detail, this house we had spent many hours designing, choosing all furniture and all areas to make you feel like in a mini resort, We have a tiki bar on the side with water views, new grill, hot tub, fish right from the house, crab traps, kayaks, paddle boat, games, TV on every room and living, new dining table
