This charming 1200 sq ft newly remodeled fully separated unit located in historic Willow Glen, San Jose. It is an independent unit, with free parking. Private entrance. High ceiling bedrooms at 250 square feet each with a private backyard. Close to trendy restaurants and shops in downtown Willow Glen! Easy access to Caltrain, LightRail, bus, 10 min. away from SJ airport. Close to downtown San Jose developing technology center. Very safe and high end neighborhood. Hosts are fully vaccinated.
The space
Newly remodeled guest-suite based on original Eichler home. High ceiling bedrooms with access to the backyard from both rooms. Brand new bedding, bathroom, kitchen. Very clean. Fully vaccinated hosts make sure safe and sanitized stay for all guests. Very close to historic downtown Willow Glen, San Jose with restaurants and businesses reopening.

Shared drive way with our other Airbnb listing guests.

Yard maintenance crew, cleaning crew and host will be around to help maintain the house. You'll probably see them in and out periodically.

It was a lovely, large space, and the beds were a good size. The location is quite nice, and it’s great to have a spot to park. It was easy to communicate with the host.

Quiet, comfortable beds. The table lamps in the master bedroom did not seem to work. There was no tin foil, food storage in the unit. There is only a toaster oven, and some of the kitchen cabinet doors were broken. The sliding glass door outside of the master bedroom had no screen, which was odd as it appeared functional. We didn’t understand why the range hood still had the plastic protective covering intact. It was just an odd place to stay. The parking directions were odd. We didn’t receive advance information about where we were required to park.

Overall the facilty was clean, roomy but not spacious and the beds were comfortable. Nice touch with bottled water. However it didn’t quite fit my family's needs, a family of four plus one set of grandparents. The initial booking made it appear like the property was set in a neighborhood but it was actually right off a busy street. We came from two different locations so we needed parking for two cars, but there is only parking for one vehicle on property and although they mentioned street parking was available, in reality there was no parking allowed in front of the facility and what was available was some walking distance away and very limited. We ran into a slight problem when the guests in the other unit parked in the driveway, blocking our access to our designated parking area. The stoppers in both bathrooms had been removed, needs something to prevent loosing anything down the drain. Limited or no counter or shelf space to keep your toiletries in the bathrooms and the sinks are small. The bathrooms seem relatively new and well stocked. The refrigerator's ice maker had been removed, shelves missing in the freezer, but it was a functional refrigerator. Nice to find two couches, instead of only one as pictured. The host was responsive to our concerns. The place felt sparse, but adequate. Needs drapes in common room.

A nice, large two bed, two bath. The rooms are generously sized and there are lots of extra couches and futons. The property is on a slightly busy street and there is only parking for one car.

Great Willow Glen location

I loved the spacious and simple decor. The beds were comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen facilities, but it appeared well stocked. It was nice to have coffee and filters available. The area is very quiet. I'd stay here again

Stayed with family

We came to stay there for three days. Backyard was full of leaves and a mess. The grill was a mess grill parts were laying everywhere at the gas grill which they said it worked. The bed in the one bedroom was on the floor. It must’ve been for small people couldn’t even get up out of the bed Refrigerator leak. There is nowhere to put anything in the bathroom no shelves no towel rack or nothing not even in the shower. it was duct tape inside the refrigerator freezer. overall, it was OK to stay in, but not the money we spent. It’d be nice to get some money back, but that’s not gonna happen. there’s multiple pictures, but of course they won’t load them all and I can sit there and describe them all to you but it probably take forever. The house needs a lot of repairs like I said for the price it was way too much for the price way too many things that need to be fixed and properly maintain so yeah the price was very very high. It t want somebody to put a whole bunch of pictures on here because there’s not enough room on here to put the pictures or describing anything so this sounds like a big scam.

Great apartment

This adu is the size of a two bedroom apartment. It was great. In addition to amenities described, host also provided coffee, bottled water, shampoo, conditioner, body cleanser, moisturizing cream, detergent and fabric softener. The backyard patio and barbecue is charming. Bedrooms were large. Entire apartment was clean. Would definitely rent again.

We really enjoyed this property! Very clean. The owner was very responsive and kind. Everything we needed for my family of six. The king bed in one room is squeaky but other than that it was great!

Lovely small home in Willow Glen

I stayed here with my daughter, son in law and 2 and 4 year old children. It was really nice and there was a small fenced yard that the kids loved. We would book this again. There is only one parking space so I parked a block away, around the corner, not a big deal once the car was unpacked. A shelf in the second bath would have been helpful. The owner was very kind and responsive. Truly an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

Will Definitely be Back for a Third Visit Here

This was our second stay at this property and we will definitely be back. The unit was very clean, great layout for two couples, very well appointed with appliances, utensils, and lots of bottle of water. It is located in the cute Willow Glen neighborhood and close to shopping, restaurants and parks. The host was extremely easy to communicate with and was very responsive. It was an excellent experience
