Bahay Bundok is Tagalog/Filipino for "Mountain House." This brand new 1600 sq ft retreat home (built in 2021) is perfect for vacations, retreats, and shared time with loved ones. It has ample sleeping arrangements, high end furnishings (from the gas range to the pillows), and an open floor plan in the living room/kitchen area.

Bahay Bundok is in a quiet mountainside neighborhood. 5 minute drive to Big Bear Lake, less than 15 minutes to ski resorts. Minimum 2 nights stay.

The house was amazing. Its basically brand new, it was built in 2021. It had everything that we needed. New dishwasher, laundry services, dishware, stove, a nice backyard, propane grill. What more can you ask for? the house was immaculate... except for the last guest that left an open box of brown sugar, there were ants everywhere. But the owner left is some bug spray thankfully. It was close to the lake, there was plenty of parking. 10 out of 10 score

Roomy house that was nice and clean. Loved the jetted tub and beautiful kitchen that was well equipped.Quiet neighborhood close to downtown. Would stay again.

Big Bear Getaway

My family and I stayed in this home and enjoyed every second. Before we got to the home, the rental process was extremely simple. The owner was helpful and communicated thoroughly whenever I had a question. The house was clean, well kept, spacious, and would definitely recommend to everyone planning a big bear trip. If I’m ever in town again, I hope this home is open for rental!

We are educators in in Southern California. This is our vacation home and we hope to share it with others who will appreciate the clean air and relaxing environment of Big Bear and the surrounding area.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This 3 bedroom home has a spacious open floor plan with cathedral ceilings in the living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen has brand new appliances, fully equipped with a Samsung gas stove (including griddle) and oven, Bosch dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker (both drip and individual cup maker). The kitchen has white quartz marble countertops with an island counter breakfast bar for additional dining options.

Free high-speed WiFi and 65-inch flat screen TV with Roku, HBO Max & Netflix for home movie nights. Yamaha Soundbar.

All bedrooms have new Tuft and Needle foam mattresses. The primary bedroom has an office desk and chair, walk-in closet and a spacious en suite bathroom with dual sinks, shower and jet-tub.

House is stocked with luxury towels, propane firepit (in the backyard), and plenty of dishware and utensils. This space is perfect for getaways, retreats and well-earned relaxation!
