Great Location - walk to coffee shops and restaurants

A great place to stay as it is located right downtown Jonesville. Start your day off with coffee from Jilly Beans and then dinner at Olives.

Cute and Clean! Amazing location and property owner. Will stay again!

Apartment is super cute and clean, everything you need. It is right in the downtown area so walking distance to all the restaurants, theater, coffee shops, etc. Had a great stay!

Close to Hillsdale

We stayed here for my son’s college graduation. Perfect place for 2 peee and very convenient and walkable. There is a nearby park. Well decorated and great use of space. Very nice to have a few breakfast items in the fridge!

Great Location, Stayed Here Several Times

We have stayed here many times over the past four years when we would visit our daughter who’s in college at Hillsdale. She’s graduating in a few weeks, so this was probably our last stay for a while until we have reason to visit Hillsdale again. We enjoy staying here because it’s so close to Olivia’s, one of our favorite restaurants, as well as cute shops, Jilly Beans, a bakery, etc. We like that there is room for our daughter to come over and hang out and visit with us. Very comfy, and I love the chair with the ottoman by the window. That’s my favorite spot to curl up and relax. Thanks, Linda, for being a great hostess to our family over the past four years.

The Apartment isn’t as described

Unit is up some steep stairs. It is above a dog grooming business. The bed is only a full size, not Queen as was stated. The bathroom was tiny, shower trickled due to low water pressure. The heater kicked on with such a loud noise it woke me up. The house had a vintage feel and you could tell the owner tried to make it appealing. We left a day early because of the shower and bed primarily.

Cute, cozy, slightly quirky, great location

Adorable little apartment. A few minor quirks - I had trouble getting the shower head to function properly (keep up a steady stream), but since I only stayed one night I didn’t bother asking the host about it. I’m sure they would have helped out. Also there was definitely a strong Febreze-like scent in the space, which would have bugged me if I were prone to allergic reactions. But it did smell nice! The building is old, but it is a delightful and cozy spot in a fantastic location. I’d come back. Thank you.

Quick stay

The location was very convenient for a quick stay to watch our son run at the GMAC meet. The space was decorated nicely. The owner was very responsive to our messages. Shower didn’t work very well, and there were a few dead flies laying around the kitchen/bedroom area. Overall it was a satisfactory stay for just one night.

Another Great Stay

We always enjoy staying here when we are visiting our daughter at Hillsdale. The location is perfect! Linda is always prompt with communication, which is really appreciated. Within walking distance to Jilly Beans 2 and Olivia’s, one of our favorite restaurants. Highly recommend this rental.

Convenient to Hillsdale College

I am grateful for a safe clean place to stay for one night while I assisted my daughter with college move. It is difficult to find accommodations in the area. I also appreciated having a days supply of coffee and a fridge to store a few perishable items. It is a busy intersection, but I used the box fan to drown out the traffic noise. This met my needs for a good single nights rest in a convenient location to Hillsdale College.

Nice apartment, inconsistent service

As in the previous stay, I found the apartment quaint, and well located. Linda is generally responsive. The amenities listed as provide has been inconsistent so I would recommend ensuring you bring some of your own (bathroom especially). The cleaning service has also been inconsistent, but the apartment is generally clean.

Great stay if you need to bring your dog along

Super cute mini apartment. Very comfortable and clean. Maybe in the description add that it’s above a dog groomer so people can find it more easily. The main intersection is pretty busy, but you can’t really hear the traffic from inside. Thanks for your hospitality!

Always Enjoy Our Stay

We have stayed here several times and always try to book for our trips to Hillsdale College to see our daughter. It’s very convenient and we love that we can simply walk across the street to shop at boutiques, grab a coffee, or have dinner at Olivia’s. Thanks, Linda, for prompt communication and for another great stay. The place smelled wonderful when we walked in , too!

Second stay

This was my second time to stay at this property. I gave only 4 stars for this stay (the first was five stars) because the apartment was not quite as clean as the first visit. The rooms were generally clean, nut the floors and microwave were not quite as clean. It is a great location, and a nice place to stay overall, and I will certainly try again.

Comfortable, clean and well located

The apartment was as listed. It was nicely decorated and quite comfortable. The location made access to restaurants, coffee and local shopping quite easy.

Perfect Location!

We love staying at Linda’s apartment above her grooming business! It has everything we could need and gives us plenty of room to relax and enjoy our stay. We always appreciate the living area, and the chair and ottoman with the throw blanket is my favorite spot to curl up and read or watch tv. Location is perfect for coffee and restaurants, as well as for visiting our daughter at Hillsdale. I think all the Hillsdale parents have discovered this jewel because it books fast for the special event weekends. Thanks for another great stay!
