The space
Renovation just completed! Bright Contemporary House on a quiet Street with mountain and canyon view! Formal entry with stone floors opens to huge living room in one side and and individual TV room, with high ceiling, large fireplace and wide-plank hardwood floor. Bright , eat-in kitchen with brand new appliances. Big family room, opulent master suite with 2 walk-in closets and a luxurious bath with waterfall shower for two and huge spa tub with amazing view featuring double sinks. 4 additional oversized bedrooms up and hall bath with quartz counter, marble floors and shower stall. All the furnitures are brand new. Home opens to yard, patio and pool and gazebo, all taking full advantage of the spectacular and stunning view.
Guest access
You have access to the entire house from its cozy living area to the beautiful backyard. sit in backyard, relax by the pool and enjoy the amazing view. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs which sleep 8 and one bedroom with 2 twin beds downstairs.

It’s a self check in
Extra charge for heating the spa is $100 per 3 hours and need one hr notice to be heated. Pool can’t be heated.
Extra charge for bringing pet $200.

Great location, great view

Very nice place, great view, great pool. Property manager pleasant and responsive. Plumbing problems (you can't flush toilet paper) but other than that great experience.

Southern CA getaway

Beautiful home with lots of space to spread out and relax. A most wonderful pool and hot tub that we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved the location...close to a lot of attractions. A gorgeous overlook of the city from the roomy patio/deck. Manager of property was quick to respond. A great time was had by all! Thanks so much!

First timer

This rental was the first time I've ever rented a home for the weekend. My girlfriends and I had a great time! The home was beautiful. The backyard view was breathtaking! That was my favorite part! Definitely recommend this home. It was a nice quiet neighborhood, great for a nice relaxing getaway

Gorgeous Views and Spacious Home

I stayed here with a group of co workers for a sales retreat and it was the perfect place. The house looks just like the pictures, which I really appreciated. There was plenty of space and room choices for everyone. The home is decorated very nicely and the lawn and patio area are immaculate. The only thing I wish that would have been disclosed is the inability to flush toilet paper due to easy clogging and the fact there is only one tv in the entire house. I don't think it would have changed our decision to stay here, but would have been nice to know in the selection process.

Could have ruined daughter's wedding weekend if we would have let it

$2.5 million dollar home costing over $800 per night (fees and tax included) was like staying in third world country. It was not disclosed up front that the expectation was for toilet paper disposal in trash can (as opposed to flush). Three cockroaches were found during our four day stay. And most disgusting (especially to the vegetarian who found it, then retched) was two serving dishes, one with buttered bay shrimp, that were left to rot in the oven. Nothing worse than rotten seafood. Had to buy dishwasher soap in order to run putrid dishes through cycle as there was none on premises. The lower level HVAC couldn't get temperature below 80 degrees during heat of day when it was only 85 outside. Walking on LVT flooring barefoot for short duration resulted in black bottoms of feet. Upstairs hall bathroom, with two sinks, but only one dispensed water. Jet tub in master was "fixed" with blue tape. You get the idea.... spend your money elsewhere.

That’s all can’t be even close to reality! I even sent you a message and checked on you and got no response back from you! If any of these things you had mentioned been true you would have mentioned it during your stay! How could you not say a word and now you remembered all these stories! Some people are unbelievable in twisting everything.

Nice location and view but don't pay to heat the pool

We did not recieved check-in instructions and had to call VRBO customer service from the front door to get in. We requested to heat the pool for a day for an extra cash fee. It never heated due to malfunction or whatever reason. The host was very rude and acted like we were lying. A nice man named Val came by to check the pool three times and confirmed it was not heating. He said we could have a refund and turned on the hot tub for about an hour since we had waited all day and not gotten to swim bc it was too cold. Then the host refunded us only half of the large fee because she said it wasn't fair that she had to pay for gas and bc we used the hot tub. First, we paid for a heated pool for 24 hours and never asked for use of the hot tub. It is certainly not our fault the pool did not warm up. Second if we had asked for the hot tub, the cost was less than half of heating the pool for a whole day, not just an hour. The charge is outrageous, especially after ruining our day. As it stands she will not refund it and she has never apologized for anything. She's very rude and unprofessional. Also there are signs all over the house about keeping things clean or you will be fined. Despite an excessively high cleaning fee, the house was not spotless, and you still have to do all the dishes and take out all the trash (or be fined). The master jacuzzi bathtub had blue tape across it and could not be used. It had a great back yard with a view but no one in our group would recommend staying here again bc of the host.

Oh wow! So many fresh stories I am hearing for the first time! Do you think A NICE man just appeared in my backyard? He is my cleaner and I HAD sent him the moment that you thought the pool is not SO warm, he never said these things you wrote here and that’s absolutely your thoughts. You were in Jacuzzi not for One hour only but half a day. You admitted that pool were warm in the morning but you came back late afternoon so the weather was cooler too, so….! Maybe it was your first stay in VRBO but I am a Superhost for more than 3 years in Airbnb with a 4.8 star review, I am used to some unfair people believe me and I go rental houses myself and every place I go, you have to clean after yourself it’s nothing strange fir anyone. I have refunded you $100 and I couldn’t refuse to do so since I have heated the pool anyway for 36 hours rather than your satisfied or not. Have a nice day.

Vaste maison avec vue exceptionnelle mais pas à la hauteur du standing vendu

La maison est située dans un quartier chic et très calme sur les hauteurs de Los Angeles et bénéficie d'une vue magnifique et d'une grande piscine. La maison est louée pour 8 personnes, elle est vaste, cependant certaines choses ne sont pas prévues pour 8. Uniquement 4 transats autour de la piscine et 1 tout petit parasol. La cuisine est équipée d'un grand four qui ne fonctionne pas. Un petit four d'appoint a été mis en attendant mais trop juste pour faire la cuisine pour 8 adultes. De plus, certaines prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur du standing vendu : certains spots extérieurs sont cassés, nous n'avons aucune maîtrise des lumières extérieures (1 spot reste constamment allumé toute la journée, et tous les autres spots s'éteignent à 22H20). Nous sommes également obligés de jeter le papier toilette dans des poubelles pour éviter de boucher les WC. Nous n'avons pas très bien dormi car les 2 chambres donnant sur la piscine ne sont pas équipées de store et les rideaux ne sont pas du tout occultants. Nous étions réveillés tous les matins à 6h. Le ménage n'a pas été correctement fait dans notre chambre (nous avons retrouvé sous notre lit de nombreux moutons et 1 sac plastique usagé). De nombreux mots sont affichés dans la maison menaçant d'amendes si nous ne respectons pas les consignes (vider les poubelles à notre départ, ne pas laisser de vaisselle sale...). Sans oublier les mots affichés sur 3 fenêtres de la maison voisine nous rappelant de ne pas faire de bruit après 22H... Nous avons malgré tout passé d'excellentes vacances et l'hôte a été très réactif pour toutes nos demandes.

This was our first AirB&B rental . The views were amazing and the house was beautiful. The only thing we’d change was to have another tv in the house besides the only one that was in the room downstairs. Other then that the house was amazing

The beds weren’t very comfortable as you could feel the springs in the mattresses. Sheets were dirty , outside trash bins were full and it wasn’t noted online that we couldn’t flush any toilet paper down the toilet .The owner however was very quick to respond and was polite.

View is priceless!

I would never get sick of waking up to the view offered from this property, absolutely breathtaking!! Situated in Tarzana, a beautiful, affluent neighbourhood within easy reach (5min drive) of Ventura Boulevard where you'll find all the amenities you could ever require if staying in a home from home. Just next to the Blvd is the 101 freeway which will start your journey to just about anywhere in the city. 40mins from LAX not far from Malibu and around 30mins to DTLA the property is in an ideal position to discover the city and sourroundings whilst having the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle. House was as advertised, lovely big patio area with decking and immaculately clean, a real find. Communication with the host was slick, any minor questions/issues we had were answered in a timely fashion and resolved. If you are planning to cook for the family however then make sure you establish the large double oven has been repaired, it didn't work when we arrived and it would have been helpful to have made aware of this before going out and doing a big grocery shop. Although a small Ninja oven was there to cook with whilst a replacement part comes for the oven (host has been waiting for part to arrive) it's not quite fit for purpose if you are catering for a few people. With that said it really didn't have a major impact on our stay as the house really is something special but is worth noting.

Gorgeous view and beautiful home

This is definitely a house for adults. Our 11 year old grandson did enjoy the foozeball. We were aware there were many steps and it wasn't a problem but the house would be difficult for young children and "older" adults. We knew the pool could not be heated and did enjoy the hot tub. The problem with the hot tub was that we had to call ahead each time we wanted to use it. Scarlett was available to start it with her remote app which was a bit inconvenient. It might be to her advantage to let the guests control the hot tub. We were appalled that we were asked not to even flush toilet paper. It felt like we had diaper pails in each bathroom. That might have been a deal breaker for us. We didn't have any problem with the pipes. The jacuzzi tub was also a bit disappointing for the hot water supply. This is a problem with most tubs so it was not a surprise. The smoke detector should not be close to the microwave, it alarmed when we used the microwave. Overall we found this to be an ideal vacation. Everyone had space and the view was spectacular. Thank you for letting us enjoy your property. I was very available to your late night calls and all your requests, that usually must be done through the app or at least by text, but I found it easier for you ( considering your age) but with things you mentioned, I still don’t realize the problem you might have faced.
