Splash Inn!

Splash Inn is a cute little cottage located on all sports Cowden Lake. It has a beautiful view on the lakefront property. It is just the right fit for your family or a few friends on a getaway retreat! Enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, and just relaxing. After a day in the water, you can watch the sunset while enjoying a fire.

On the main floor, you will find a living room, 2 bedrooms (1 queen/1 full with twin bunk) and a full bath. On the newly remodeled lower level you will find an open area containing a loveseat (with hide-a-bed), kitchen, island, gathering area, and table. Also a half bath is on the lower level. Both levels provide excellent viewing of the lake.

Photos are of the beach right from the front yard of the cottage. You have your own beach for swimming and dock for fishing or to tie your boat up to!

You may have use of 2 complimentary kayaks and a paddle boat upon request! Additional kayaks available at $25.00.

Cowden Lake is located in Montcalm County, Michigan. This lake is 128 acres in size. It is approximately 50 feet deep at its deepest point. When fishing, anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Flathead Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Yellow Perch.

We are located just 40 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids and 25 minutes to premium golfing.

Enjoyed a lovely stay. More than spacious enough for a couple or small family. Beautiful views of the lake. Kitchen was adequately equipped for most tasks. Suggest a baking pan and vegetable peeler would helpful additions.

This lovely little cottage was perfect for my daughter, mom, and I on our girl’s weekend. Temps dipped into the 40s but the space heaters kept us cozy. Kitchen had the basics plus a little extra (foil & coffee) which was appreciated. Good firewood and friendly neighbors. Would stay here again!

We loved our vacation at the Splash Inn! Check in is smooth & easy. The cottage is wonderful with a great view of the lake. We had a good time using the paddle boat, kayak & paddle board. Plenty of life jackets available as well! We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Anne is the best!

We spent 100% of our time outside on the water from sun up to sun down. The lake was beautiful, full of wildlife and warm. This location is perfect for young families. The walkout basement is ideal for spending time outdoors and coming back in for snacks, refreshments, a quick trip to the bathroom or to change. The rest of the home is basic, yet all you need. We would stay again and would love our own place on Cowden Lake. Thank you, Anne!

Relaxing mini vacay

We had a great little family vacation at Splash Inn! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and it was a very peaceful, relaxing location. There’s a nice big kitchen table where we played games at night and during the day we fished, used the kayaks and paddle boat, and painted outside at the picnic table. My daughter really enjoyed the water and finding shells and playing in the sand. We also used the fire pit and made smores. It was all just perfect. Would absolutely stay here again. Anne, the host, was very responsive and kind. Definitely recommend!

Exactly what we were looking for

Our stay at the splash inn was one of our best vacations yet. The beach was very nice and well maintained, the water was clean and warm. We had a great time just swimming, fishing, and enjoying the paddle boat and kayaks. The lake and sand are perfect for little kids to enjoy time in the water.Very nice and quiet lake community with very friendly neighbors. Can't wait to stay here again.

Lovely place for family

All the family had a wonderful time. The kayaks, paddle boat, water toys & games in the shed were all used and enjoyed. The sunsets are beautiful, we even had to stop card games to go out and watch. Hosts are very attentive and easy to reach for any questions. We will be returning.

Fun family week at Cowden Lake, Coral MI

Fun and relaxing 7 days at the cottage. Splash Inn comfortably slept six persons when needed. Most (local) family came up for the day, and left in the evening as it’s a short drive from the Grand Rapids/Rockford MI area. The cottage was very well-equipped. Just bring along clothing and food—and you’ll be all set. Anne S. was very communicative, checked in on us (via texting) during our stay, and we felt quite well taken care of. The family loved Splash, and its history of reviews were spot-on!

This little cottage is great for a getaway just 45 minutes north of downtown Grand Rapids.

Located just 10 minutes from Trufant if you are here on Thursday, you can enjoy the local flea market. Also, Greenville is only a 25 minute drive.
