Summary:
You must be at least 21 years of age to rent our properties.
Come enjoy this ocean front unit here in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Wake up in the morning and drink your coffee on your personal balcony while looking at the ocean for miles, enjoying the nice sea breeze. This resort has an outdoor hot tub, a kid splash area/kiddie pool, an indoor lazy river, an outdoor pool (with a pool bar), and an ocean front fitness center. It also has an onsite Dunkin Donuts for you coffee fix!

The Space:
This ocean front unit has views for miles. Look directly down to the outdoor pool area from you balcony on the 10th floor! This unit contains a king bed in the master bedroom and two queen beds in the second bedroom. The unit is also equipped with a full kitchen including a dishwasher, oven, stove, and microwave so you can make your favorite meals while taking in the ocean breeze.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to all the amenities at the Camelot by the Sea resort including the inside/outside pools, hot tubs, lazy river, kid splash area, pool bar, and fitness center.
The guest cannot hold the host responsible for resort controlled amenities. (inoperable pools, hot tubs, balconies)

The Neighborhood:
Camelot by the Sea is in the heart of Myrtle Beach with lots to do in the area. Some restaurants near by are Bummz Beach Cafe, RipTydz, Sea Captain's House, and Hot Tomato. Some popular attractions are the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel, Ripley's Aquarium, Family Kingdom Amusement Park, and the Hollywood Wax Museum. The Coastal Grand Mall, Tanger Outlets on Hwy 501, Market Common, and Broadway at the Beach are good areas for shopping.

Getting Around:
Vehicles continue to be the primary form of transportation in Myrtle Beach, but a guest could use Uber-Lyft or choose to bike or walk. However biking and walking would limit your dining and activities.

Other Things to Note:
The renter agrees to Hold Eagle Beach Rentals' employees and unit owners harmless for any accident, damage, or lost/stolen items that may occur during renter occupancy. The renter further agrees to comply with the resort's conditions, regulation and rules.
This is a non-smoking property and all guest rooms are non-smoking. Smoking in the rooms will result in a cleaning fee of $250.00 USD

Our minimum age requirement to rent is 21 years old.
This unit contains a king size bed, 2 queen size beds and a sleeper sofa.

Interaction with Guests:
Hosts are located in Myrtle Beach and are available to help when needed, however we will respect your privacy. Due to the keyless entry we will likely not meet our guests unless needed.

We loved the view from the balcony. We saw dolphins every morning. Beds were comfortable. Only issue is kitchen needs to be restocked. Not enough silverware for us all to eat at the same time. Kerri coffee maker wouldn’t work but had another coffee maker that did. Good thing! Great way to spend a few days to relax. Would definitely return to this property.

Room needs upgraded very dated. Mattresses some of worst ever slept on. Only 2 trashbags for 4 night stay and they were as thin as grocery bags. Really unacceptable honestly. Have stayed in multiple units in this resort and was worst ever stayed in!

My family absolutely loved our stay here! The pools, beach access and close to everything! Our room was clean an comfortable. The carpet definitely needs updating but it wasn't an inconvenience. Beautiful view! We will be back!!

Was a great stay the only thing the lid for the toilet not the seat was just the lid had broke loose from the toilet seat, but after a quick message, it was fixed on Monday morning and it was a great day beautiful view great weather we will definitely be back.

Absolutely LOVED the location of this condo! It was close to so many things you could walk to. We enjoyed the pool, lazy river and the hot tub, as well as the poolside tiki bar. It had a small, but very nice gym on site that we used as well! Communication was easy. Yes, the carpet may be a little worn, and kitchen could use some updating, but these things were very easy to overlook with all that this property DID have to offer! We would definitely go back!

Overall not bad

The place came as advertised. We’ve stayed at Camelot many times. Location is great. However few issues. Unit and resort is dated. Could use a major overhaul. Main bathroom needs a major cleaning. Toilet running periodically. Small details go a long way.

Good, quick get away

We stayed for our spring break. Check in was smooth, and the unit was decent enough for a good overall visit. A few suggestions to the owner/property management to ensure resourcing within the unit takes it from a decent stay to a great stay. For example, there was not enough silverware and dishes for a unit with 6 people staying, the keurig not working was a bit disappointing. Also, no WIFI.

We had a pleasant stay. There were a few things that were broken in the room, but the management got back with me very quickly so that was all good. It did have a mildewy smell that I couldn’t get rid of. I am not sure if that was due to the beach because normally we don’t stay in condos or hotels. We normally rent houses. The staff were very friendly and my children enjoy the pool area. Overall, I recommend staying here.

The property requires some updates, very stale odor inside and kitchen not equipped well. Towels were plentiful but again, strange smell to linens. I purchased Fabreze to spray. First time in Myrtle Beach, location close to a lot in walking distance, however, I would choose not to stay in that area again.

Lack of communication from the host

I rented for 7 people so the pull out bed of the couch mattress had 90% yellow stains on it took pictures sent them to the host through vrbo messages 3 times no response

The bathrooms and refrigerator were very clean. One of the drawers in the kitchen was broken when we arrived. We could not get the lights on the night stands and dresser turned on. We contacted host regarding the lights and turning on the showers. Very helpful in turning on the showers. No response regarding the lights showrsshowers. No response regarding the lights. The chairs at the table are very dirty and need to be cleaned. Nice condo, would consider renting again.

Location of the condo was great. Access to many restaurants and any stores you might need. Was disappointed to find out the onsite Dunkin has closed. We only had to reach out to host once and that was about a missing TV remote. Even though it was Saturday evening they replied quickly. My 2 biggest complaints and the reasons I didn't give them 5 stars. No wireless internet in the condo. Cell phone use inside the condo and on the balcony was no insisting on Verizon. Had to go out front and walk around till we got service. The other is the furniture, especially the beds, are super uncomfortable. The king is a old spring mattress with springs poking you. The 2 doubles are so firm and hard that you might as well slept on the floor. The condo needs updating including the furniture. I gave them overall rating of a 4 mainly because of the location.

Very Nice But Needs Some TLC

This property was very clean, is in a great location with beautiful views, and while not large, is very functional. The bathrooms have been upgraded and the channel selections and TVs were awesome. However, there were several issues that diminished the overall experience. The refrigerator is old and barely keeps items cold. The freezer portion will not keep ice frozen and our ice cream became a shake overnight. There was a broken lamp and several light bulbs out. Most perplexing, the kitchen did not have a set of 4 of practically anything: knives, forks, spoons, plates, bowls, etc. There are two coffee makers, including a Kherig, but limited coffee mugs that were tiny. The price was right and if they replace the refrigerator we'd stay again (but take our own silverware.)

Photos were misleading

The three best things about this condo were the location, the view and the ample parking. However, the unit itself is in need of a lot of TLC. Two of the lamps in the unit were either broken or inoperaple. The photos showed a pretty 5-light chandelier above the dining room table but it was just a 3-light fixture with only one working lightbulb. The carpet was worn and had been patched in places. The deck railings were dirty. The unit could sleep 8 but it would not have accommodated that many people. We had to buy silverware and bowls as there were barely enough dishes and flatware for three people. The ninja there was not operable but the blender worked fine. The refrigerator worked very well and was a good size as well as the dishwasher, washer and dryer. Overall, we expected more for the price. We would stay at the Camelot again but would look for a nicer condo.

Was not impressed with our stay. The resort itself was in a great location, had great access to amentities, and easy and quick access to the beach. The room, however, was not well kept. The pictures were very misleading on what the room ACTUALLY looked like. Just a few of the things we found upon the first nights stay: the dvd player was broken, several areas of chipped paint, no fitted sheet on the master bed but fitted sheets on the other two queen beds, a few of the kitchen drawers were broken with nails exposed, 2 of the 3 provided tv remotes did not have battery covers, 1 of the remotes did not have a volume down button, and the vacuum cleaner either did not work or did not have the electrical cord to operate the vacuum. It is also advertised that Dunkin is on site which has since closed. The parking pass was also ripped from previous use and had to be returned upon departure (initially a $10 charge for missing parking pass and then 2 days later was a $50 charge for missing parking pass). Overall, most likely will not return to this rental property or rent through a realty company in the future. We have rented several times through VRBO but most if not all rentals have been privately own individuals and have never had any issues or complaints.

One of the Best Vacations We Ever Experienced.

Save for few minor cosmetic issues of this unit, it did not affect the quality of our stay. Pictures on VRBO were true representation of the unit and not some "stock photos" like other places, thus, we knew what we were getting into when we booked it. Check-in was one of the easiest labors as we didn't have to deal with the hassle of the front desk. Once we got into the unit, we were happy immediately - the unit was well decorated & elegantly clean. Hot running water & cold AC were more than we could ask for, unlike some other places we have visited (won't mention the time when we were at Destin & the owners were jerks who invaded our privacy, using the cheap excuse of a crappy AC to spy on us). Anyway, the host was quick & friendly when it came to communication, which was another +. The unit was high enough to enjoy the view of the beach without any obstruction & low enough so that we don't experience vertigo or nose bleeds. This unit was THE CLOSEST to the beach as we have ever been on any of the vacations to beach front properties. When we stepped out to the balcony, we could smell the ocean & sea air and it was as if we could dig our toes in the sand right there and then. The entire building offered the best of both worlds when it comes to playing on the beach. Sun lovers, go out there during the morning. It rises from the horizon & hang high all day. Easily burnt? Go out during early evening hours where the height of the entire building casts a nice shade. The kitchen didn't have enough cooking utensils, but one trip to Walmart resolved that situation. While we bought groceries for the week, we grabbed a bigger cooking pan, some extra forks and knives, a couple of trays to make ice with and when our stay was over, we simply left them there in the unit for the next guests to enjoy. We also replaced a missing electric plug wall plate just to be gracious & we hope the owner would approve. The condo had a mini-market directly across the street, so when we were short on minor groceries, we didn't have to hop in the car & drive the busy streets. Also, the condo was pretty central to nearby attractions. The last time we were in Myrtle Beach was 11 years ago. This time, we found Family Kingdom, Captain George's restaurant, the Boardwalk on the Beach and the Gay Dolphin were all in close proximity of our condo. I would definitely come back to this specific unit again once our rotation of vacation places come around again back to Myrtle Beach.
