This house is in a great location between a good grocery store and Christiansted. My wife and I arrived on a later flight from the US, which meant that we were 'cutting it close' after stopping for groceries and getting to the house before dark. As is typical of Caribbean islands: driving directions (esp. for the 'last mile') to the house are a little bit sketchy. I submitted an addition to Google Maps (download them ahead of time so you don't need cell service) for the house number. Time will tell on this one. The layout of house is interesting, so I emailed the owner for additional history on the place. He took the time to add some information not already contained in the welcome packet. Nice.Would I stay there again? ABSOLUTELY.Pros, in no particular order:Very nice views from multiple locations.Very private. Also gated.Crazy amount of seating for sunning, etc.Very well stocked with spices for cooking.More than the minimum needed for the first day or so with paper towels, TP, etc.Good Wi Fi.Bluetooth speakers on multiple levels for music, etc.Outstanding sunsets.AC in all BR'sSmart TV available.The Christmas tree was a great touch! :-)Cons:Pool could use a little TLC--the pump was not on much which means the skimmers weren't working most of the time.Yard needed a little mowing.

We had such a great time (two families of four) at this property! The views are absolutely stunning, and there is so much outdoor space to enjoy amazing sunsets, swimming, lounging, and dinners outside. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the host and property manager were responsive to our few questions, and there was plenty of space for two adult couples and four teenage boys. There were chairs to take the beach, plenty of beach towels, and the host had thought of little things to make our stay more enjoyable (a welcome bottle of rum, plenty of laundry detergent, toiletries in case anything was forgotten at home, etc.). We made it a point to have most dinners at the house so we could thoroughly enjoy our evenings taking in the beautiful views. We absolutely loved St. Croix, and would definitely stay at this property again!

Best Birthday Ever!

The view from the master bedroom is indescribable. From the bedroom deck, you can see beautiful blue waters, clear skies and there is such a quiet peace. The accommodations are just as pictured. Extremely spacious with various private areas of including an apartment with kitchen. This location will comfortably sleep 8. Believe me. You will not be disappointed

Christmas in St Croix

We had a wonderful time at this lovely property. The kitchen was well-equipped, the living room was comfortable - even decorated with a Christmas tree, rooms were spacious. We loved all of the outdoor space and it was safely gated off from the lower level and pool which was important with a toddler. The property manager was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. The pool was clean and refreshing and the views from the home were amazing! Would highly recommend - especially for a family who needs some space to spread out. So many places to have coffee, enjoy lunch together, play games, watch football, etc.

Villa with Views and Pool- July 2024

Our visit was for a week. Our host, Elle, kept in contact with us especially before we arrived. We received a warm welcome and there were more oohs and aahs during her guide around the villa. The villa accommodated our group of 8 with no issues. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the comfortable outdoor space where we lounged and relaxed. There were several fruit trees which were in season to enjoy. The neighborhood is peaceful, walk friendly, and close to Christiansted town. I definitely recommend even if you don't have a large group.

Needs Maintenace, cleaning and exterminator.

Let me start by saying the property manager was sorry and provided a gift certificate to us. The place was not clean, dishes were dirty, bedding had hair in the sheets, spiders and free flowing ants everywhere. We cleaned, sprayed for ants and removed spiders from the ceilings throughout the property. The lower bedroom had a very old air conditioner that froze up and did not work well, not to mention the ants everywhere. This property has so much potential, the pool decks and space are great. It is old and needs some serious attention and maintenance.

A wonderful place to vacation

This house was amazing. Just as the listing describes. I love the open concept of this house. Lots of room for hanging out, tanning & getting some work done if needed. I work remote, so it had a perfect place to get some of my work done on my laptop and enjoy the sun. Very fast Internet, so I didn’t have any interruptions in my work. Very well decorated. I loved the modern decorations which is different from most places I have rented on island. My favorite was probably the yellow chairs in the dining room. So cute! The pool was amazing. Most pools I have rented do not have a deep end so this was great for swimming laps and relaxing, plus lots of floats! Very nice chairs to tan in & plenty of seating when I had guests over. The beds were very comfortable My only complaint would be in the master bedroom. Whoever decided to put skylights in the ceiling truly hated anyone that wanted to sleep in. lol Luckily, I packed a sleep mask, around 8 AM every day it was full sun as bright is outside in my bedroom! My only downfall of the kitchen was poor ventilation while cooking. So basically, anytime I cooked the smoke detector was going off with very little smoke. They need a downdraft/vent Other than that , this property was amazing Tucked up on the hill, so it’s kind of hidden. Felt very safe. views were immaculate! Every night we got to watch the beautiful sunset, and even caught a nice harvest moon Robin is amazing & always available! Would definitely stay here again!!

Absolutely beautiful property, close to all the restaurants and shopping but sits high on the mountain so it's very secluded and peaceful. Staying was myself, my husband, our 5- and 8-year-old boys, 1 1/2-year-old daughter and our adult son and fiancé and there was still room to spare. The main living area was perfect for our 1 1/2-year-old because there were gates for all the stairs going down to the pool and she could be free walking around the porch, kitchen, living and bedroom areas without us watching her every move. Check-in process was very easy and constant communication with the property manager. She met up with us and showed us the property. We would stay at this property again as it had everything we needed. We accidently left our boys carry-on bags at the house and didn't have time to come back and grab them before out flight. The property manager was wonderful and mailed them to us right away. Book this house, you won't be disappointed!

We had an amazing time!! Beautiful home with plenty of separate spaces for everyone!! The pool was awesome. All of the communication before, during, and after our stay was 5 star!!! Highly recommend tenting this home!!

Fantastic Home Base

Loved the house and pool! The outdoor area had plenty of seating, Bluetooth speakers everywhere and a fantastic island breeze!!! The layout of the house gives places for everyone to gather or separate spaces when you want quite time alone. Electric gate gave an extra sense of security but we felt safe at all times -with or without it 😀. Highly recommend this property if you are staying in St. Croix!đŸïž

The pictures donÂŽt do it justice

So you know how the pictures of this place are absolutely stunning? Yeah...they don®t capture how truly amazing the estate is. You really have to see it in person to get it. The host and property manager were easy to communicate with. They responded back quickly and with helpful information. The property manager connected us with a private chef, which was one of the highlights of the trip. The check-in process was very smooth. The property manager met us at the airport and guided us to the estate. Once we arrived, she, along with the maintenance guy, showed us the entire villa and estate. The maintenancy guy was incredibly helpful and even drive us to the closest supermarket upon arrival. The estate is 5 to 15 minutes from stores, downtown Christiansted and multiple beaches. Itƛ a convenient location, with the added benefit of being semi-isolated, since itƛ on top of a hill in a sparsely populated area. I suggest asking for the latitude and longitude of the estate, because GPS maps will not show the accurate location. Estate: I went with a group of 7 other women and the villa was spacious enough that we never felt cramped. On the contrary, the villa was so big we had to make a conscious choice to utilize the entire space. The master bedroom is spacious and its bathroom has a huge shower). The bedroom downstairs on the pool level is actually a mini-apartment with a living room and kitchenette. I can®t recommend this villa enough.

Incredible views

We have been visiting st Croix for 25 years. Although we normally stay closer to the north shore area, we tried something new this time. The views and properly itself were amazing! If you are a light sensitive sleeper this master bedroom is not for you. There are no curtains so that you can completely enjoy the views but the city lights are quite bright through the night. Optional curtains would be preferred for myself. The master bedroom mattress was also a little wonky, but nothing is ever as comfortable as my bed at home. All in all I would stay again- it was a gorgeous property and a great set up for the whole family to enjoy it.

Awesome Stay Here

This house was perfect for our family. Great views of a sunset and the island with an amazing pool, and plenty of areas to chill around. The service was impeccable, and whenever something was needed, which was very rare, immediately was addressed. I have been to the island five times now at different properties, and this one ranks right up there at the top.

Christmas 2022

This property is accurately described in descriptions and pictures. Unbelievable views! Christine the property manager was was responsive and attentive. It was me and my husband, 3 son’s 18 and up and my brother. They had a Christmas tree set up in the living room which was a nice touch. We typically fixed coffee and breakfast at the villa in the mornings and walked the hill, relaxed by the pool before we were off exploring St. Croix. We came back in the evenings, typically after eating dinner out although we did use the charcoal grill for dinner one night. This villa is so private and relaxing to wind down from a full day of snorkeling, kayaking ect
 We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, views and comfortable layout of the villa. Would highly recommend for families and small groups. Rental car is a must.

The Fab 5 at 48 Hermon Hill

We had the BEST time here. There were 5 friends here for a wedding. The check in/out process was seamless. The owners responded immediately if we had a question. The place was spacious and private and we loved every second of it! The house and pool were clean and the property was wall-maintained. We will definitely be back!! Thank you so much for letting us stay here and enjoy this beautiful home and view!!

Estate of Hermon Hills marvelous view

When my family and I arrived we were surprised to say the least. The property is absolutely beautiful. The property allows you to view the entire island. There were plenty of room to accommodate all of us. The photos of this property doesn't give a clear vision of this beautiful property. The property was clean and well decorated. When we returned next year, my family and I would only stay at Estate at Hermon Hills. Marcus thank you for allowing us to experience a wonderful relaxing vacation. You were so accommodating and helpful. See you next year!! I love this property!

My vacation was ruined.

Herman Hill has far more issues than the host would like to admit. My family and I stayed there for a week. We were inconvenienced from day one, the main suite bathroom had no shower door, and the other two bathrooms, were not cleaned upon arrival. There were dirty shower curtains, dirty toilets and a dirty tub. The refrigerator was also dirty. There was a massive hair ball behind the bar, dust was everywhere, and the beds were hard and uncomfortable. And the drive to the house have a cliff or scary drop off with no rails just six red reflectors. There is so much more I could say about our experience. There was no assistance from the host or property manger, never returned my calls to assist during the entire 8 day ordeal. My vacation was ruined.
