It looked just like the pictures but even better in person. The coziness you feel when you walk in felt like home. Will definitely consider staying again when in town.

Awesome Spot!

This home is as advertised. Loved the glassed in porch with no bugs or rain! Beautiful view of Lake. Very comfy beds and full kitchen appliances. Nicely decorated.Close to town, restaurants, and parks. Nice neighborhood to walk. Perfect spot for our get away. Thank you!

Great place!!!

Loved everything about Hickory on the Lake including the neighborhood and location. The cottage was everything expected as advertised. It was a beautiful and so comfortable. We had great fun!

Girls Trip!

We had a blast with farmers market, shopping and eating in Oshkosh! The 3 bedroom and bathroom was really nice and updated. Lake views and sound of the waves are wonderful!

Great Stay - 6 Stars

This is a great property that is modern and super clean with a great kitchen. Nice sitting areas and a wonderful backyard on the lake. Easy communication and close to everything in Oshkosh. Definitely a place to revisit. If there were 6 stars in the rating I would have scored it that high.

Terrific property. Exceptionally good service by property manager. A small problem was addressed quickly and the manager was very friendly and helpful.

Lake side

We stayed here during the week of the Oshkosh air show. It was a fabulous place to stay. It was clean and updated, quiet and relaxing. And the distance to the air show was only about a 15 min drive. We could hear the airplanes while at the house too. And there’s a little park and trail about a mile away. Overall, the location was great and the house was beautiful!

Couldn’t be nicer

My family and I loved this rental. It was super clean and modernized, had all the necessary amenities and was in a wonderful location in Oshkosh adjoining Lake Winnebago. Very bright, with lots of windows. Private but convenient. We were on an ancestry tour, with lots of places to go, but often hated to leave because it was just such a nice property.

Attack of the Lake Flies

We did not expect to run back & forth to our car because of the non biting lake flies zooming at us. Never spent any time in the 4 days outside of the house. We thought at least we would have the television to entertain us but couldn’t get it working. Tabatha came & tried to help us but was unable to get regular channels. The last night we were there the house was filled with flies because we came “home” after dark & they were attracted to the lights. We spent our last evening there killing flies with a broom. Very unpleasant 4 days!

Thank you for your honest review. I am sorry that mother nature graced us with those nuisance lakeflies during your stay. Sadly, out of our control. I apologize we could not get you connected to Spectrum TV and you didn't have additional apps of yours with logins to watch your shows. Smart TVs are sometimes not so smart. Fabulous property!

This place was perfect and immaculate! The personal touch of the welcome board with our name on it was wonderful. The views can't be beat. The layout of the house was ideal for our group (two couples, one single). The entire property was artfully and tastefully decorated with a lot of local history-related items. I'd love to hear the stories of some of the pieces. The kitchen is well-stocked with tools/cookware, though surprisingly there was no plastic drink-ware for the fire pit area. It lacked a bit in spices (only had salt/pepper). We contributed an all-purpose seasoning - we cooked each night. We enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit, playing cornhole, and could have easily spent more time here if we were able. It's a beautiful property! (We were asked to water the flowers while there, which we didn't mind at all! Note that they did offer to send someone out to do it, but I appreciate that they care about the details which make it so lovely, and I was happy to contribute) My only criticism would be the lake access - it's a very treacherous and rocky slope to the lake (though short). Not ideal for kids or anyone who may be drinking. It would have been really nice to have a short little path to the water that felt more safe - once you got there, walking out was easy. We rented a pontoon boat one day, which was a lot of fun - we were able to drive by the house and see it from the lake which was cool. Overall, if I'm ever in this area, I would 100% book this place again.

Stayed here for a weekend with 2 other couples. Beautiful location. Easy to get to and clean. Parking is tight if you have a larger vehicle. Kitchen was the perfect entertaining spot with plenty of seating. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms were large and well appointed. I would love to come here during the summer months. Owners were attentive and replied quickly. Will stay here again once warm! Thank you!

Instant relaxation!

There is something special about living near water…and you will feel extra relaxed in this home! It has TONS of natural light and beautiful views. The house was even closer to the lake than it appeared in pictures. The sound of the water against the rocks is the perfect way to fall asleep. Best fire pit ever!! We had a group of 4 friends, and it was perfect. Clean….everything we needed to prepare meals….easy check-in / check-out….perfection! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We are already making plans to return!
