Charming but in need of TLC

This is a charming building in a charming neighborhood. The unit is also very inviting, but the property needs some TLC. Windows are mostly non-functional and one of them cannot be locked. All bed and bath linen were very clean, but the unit needed a more thorough cleaning of shelves and kitchen surfaces; it would also benefit from cleaner area rugs and better kept common spaces. We occupied the unit for 56 days, and while every appliance and AC unit worked perfectly, not having a plug in the bathroom and near the night stand in the bedroom, along with the lack of a chest of drawers make this property not fully suited for a long stay visit. My exchanges with the owner could have not been more pleasant. They were always responsive and fast acting. I would suggest that they keep a closer look at the third party services they have contracted to maintain the property, which deserves to unleash its full potential to keep up with its location. What a delightful neighborhood!
