Waters Edge at Holden Beach - Unit 429-C Two Bedroom, Two Bath Oceanfront Condo on Lower Level

You will appreciate the spacious open-concept living room/dining room/kitchen area, with comfortable furniture, lots of natural light, updated hardwood flooring and awesome views of the sparkling Atlantic Ocean! The well-appointed kitchen is complete with updated appliances. This condo will comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests. Bedroom #1 is complete with a Queen bed, TV, ceiling fan, full private bath with tub/shower combo and amazing ocean views! Bedroom #2 is complete with a Queen bed, TV, ceiling fan, shared hall bath with tub/shower combo, and a street side view.

Relax on the private balcony with awesome ocean views, also overlooking the pool. You will appreciate the high-top table and chairs, tall enough so that your ocean views will not be obstructed by the balcony railings!

This was a great location, nice place to stay, very clean and quiet. Really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

Overall the property was nice, however the dishes were covered with food and had not been washed (photos available on request). It appeared they had been used for cooking and put back into the cabinets. We had to wash everything before using. The biggest issue was that the price quoted by VRBO stated "includes all fees" but my credit card was charged an additional 300.00 that was not shown on my contract. I was unaware of this until I received my credit card statement after the vacation was over. This is NOT Acceptable and seems fraudulent. I know this probably won't happen, but I would expect that extra HIDDEN fee to be credited back to my card.

Never booking this room again

We loved holden beach. However, our room was disgusting and VERY outdated. When we arrived, i had to clean for 2 hours because everything was so nasty. I called and complained and still was never offered any money back, etc. Just that they was very sorry and offered to come and clean the room. But that was necessary because I had already cleaned it. The comforters were stained and old looking. I washed them before we used them. Will never book with these owners again.

Wonderful, simple beachfront accommodations

My family of 5 stayed here for a week and had a lovely time. The beach access is easy to use, and the pool is lovely. It may be worth mentioning that the beach access does have several stairs, so is not stroller or wagon accessible. I do think some of the furniture should be updated (particularly the couches and patio furniture as they are not terribly comfortable). Nice appliances and a great roll away cot for little kids. If you have small kids who cannot handle stairs yet, bring a baby gate for the front porch!

Old and tattered furniture.

The Den/sitting area furniture should have been replaced many years ago. There was not a comfortable chair/seat in the house. Could not even sit on the couches as you sunk to the floor once in them. I have stayed with VRBO many times but this was most disappointing. The view was great, the outdoor porch was great. (replace those chairs also) and the appliances all worked fine. Even the beds were comfy. Its the furniture in the den and sitting area that absolutely sucked.
