This was by far the cleanest house I have ever rented. The beds were comfortable and the smores were amazing! We had our five kids with us and there was so much room for each of them to sleep. The host was super awesome with communication and the location was awesome. Also a great place to have the teens have no phone access as there was no signal for us! Would definitely stay again for when we float the river.

This cabin was a great choice! We brought our 4 kids and 2 dogs up to this cabin for an end of year getaway and it did not disappoint. Just enough amenities to feel at home yet still has the cozy cabin feel with great fire pits and fireplace and plenty of adventuring for the family to enjoy. Even got to see wild Turkeys eating the deer feed in the front of the cabin. Would gladly choose this place again to see what it’s like during the spring/summer. Arthur was welcoming and very responsive to all of our messages.

This is a sweet little cabin. Check in was easy and Arthur is very good at getting back with any questions. We had a good time here. The stream is perfect for children playing in. And it is close to the Illinois River.

The cabin was perfect for my birthday weekend getaway, the smores were great! Nice and peaceful, I love that the community is protected with gate keepers. The 2 lakes are nice for kayaking, everything you need is within 10 miles. Arthur communicated with us throughout our stay, he made sure everything was good.

It has a babbling brook on the property, feeding into a small creek, you can follow the creek and it spills into the Illinois River. Go the other direction and you can go to Clear lake, enjoy the serene lake, or go on a hike right up the hill behind the house... perfect for those outdoors. Its a Gated community, so access is limited to who comes in and leaves. It just a great place to go and relax!
