My sisters and I had a very nice time. We only wish it could have lasted longer. We did wish there was water in the creek by the cabin, but Mother Nature has been rough on everyone. We loved getting to spend time together and absorbing the peacefulness of the cabin.

We enjoyed our stay and the outdoor firepit and s’mores that were provided. This was exactly what we were looking for to go explore Natural Falls State Park nearby.

This was by far the cleanest house I have ever rented. The beds were comfortable and the smores were amazing! We had our five kids with us and there was so much room for each of them to sleep. The host was super awesome with communication and the location was awesome. Also a great place to have the teens have no phone access as there was no signal for us! Would definitely stay again for when we float the river.

Beautiful and peaceful! Loved the complimentary coffee and s’mores kit! Providing corn for the deer love it! Woke up sipped on a good cup of coffee and watched a doe and her baby feed on it. Great morning . Evening was just as good , deer came back .Bed was very comfortable. Just what I needed. Thank you for sharing

Quiet weekend getaway.

Love the property and the house. Nicely stocked and clean. We have stayed in another of their properties and were very happy. Host is aways very communicative. Would definitely stay again.

This is a sweet little cabin. Check in was easy and Arthur is very good at getting back with any questions. We had a good time here. The stream is perfect for children playing in. And it is close to the Illinois River.

Serene, peaceful and very much off the beaten path. Best lodging of our cross country trip! Arthur is just about the nicest guy you could ever hope to have as a host and we will definitely be back!

The cabin was perfect for my birthday weekend getaway, the smores were great! Nice and peaceful, I love that the community is protected with gate keepers. The 2 lakes are nice for kayaking, everything you need is within 10 miles. Arthur communicated with us throughout our stay, he made sure everything was good.

It has a babbling brook on the property, feeding into a small creek, you can follow the creek and it spills into the Illinois River. Go the other direction and you can go to Clear lake, enjoy the serene lake, or go on a hike right up the hill behind the house... perfect for those outdoors. Its a Gated community, so access is limited to who comes in and leaves. It just a great place to go and relax!
