A very nice place. The water is right there but you need to use a rope to access it. If the water is a little higher than it was when we visited there would be no shore to access. It’s a little annoying that they want to charge you for early access (40 for one hour early) but their check out requirements were refreshingly simple. Also, be careful pulling up on the driveway parking pad in front of the garage. I got a flat tire on my SUV. Very secluded and very nice.

We wanted something out of town and secluded for our anniversary and this was absolutely perfect! The property is beautiful and has so much to offer. It is about 30 minutes to the nearest grocery store so make sure you plan appropriately.

Gorgeous, private, secluded area to enjoy nature with a view. House is very well decorated, clean and functional. Awesome waterfall shower and giant king bed. As long as you have a reliable car for pot holes and gravel, you are set.

Hidden Gem

We loved this secluded gem on the Illinois River. I’m so glad we were able to swim, fish, tube and relax for the week.

What a wonderful relaxing weekend! First off the property is secluded and beautiful. Wonderful views! The house was very nice and had everything we needed. If you need a relaxing getaway this one fits the bill perfectly. We will definitely be back.

A cozy river getaway

This property is absolutely perfect. The house is gorgeous, and well stocked for activities and meals. The river and outside areas are well-maintained and welcoming. We spent so much time outside at the water, flying kites, and watching the wildlife. Highly recommend!!

Peaceful property
