There was no one available to help us with a few difficulties. We could not get the heat to run. The next day we figured it out. The door was difficult to lock. The place is very clean with a lot of cute decorations. We will plan on staying there again.

This is a beautiful, clean and well-equipped rental. The selection of coffee was terrific!! The adjoining duplex looked run down which deterred some from the charm.

Detroit Lake fishing trip with lodging & dining in Mill City

Nicely remodeled duplex in Mill City, OR. Facility was very clean, functional, & well maintained. Owners very responsive & great to deal with (wonderful people!). Property conveniently located a short drive from Detroit Lake. Mill City offers stores for provisioning & a selection of restaurants for dining. The Sierra Mexican Restaurant in the nearby community of Gates was excellent & is highly recommended. Fishing at Detroit Lake was good for Rainbow Trout. Looking forward to our next visit.

Silver Falls State Park Trip

30 minutes from our destination. Power went out but there was a flashlight in the drawer. Nice cozy place to stay in a quiet neighborhood. Owner answered texts right away. Made our trip very enjoyable.

Time to go home

Inside the property is fine except for the beds--small and hard. The neighborhood was not what we expected. We are elderly and didn't want to go out at night. And then the electricity went out! My husband tried the fuses, but after a call to the electric company , he found out it was area wide lack of electricity. No T. V. Unable to cook. It all felt very uncomfortable. We did not stay for the second night and could not figure out how to notify the host. I would be grateful for a refund for that second night.

Property was easy to find. Everything was just as listed. Perfect location for us after spending the day at Silver Falls and heading to Bend.

Good location

This property was clean and in a good location. Walking distance to Mill City Grill and a grocery store. It has a comfortable bed and nice shower. Enjoyed the air conditioner in the hot weather. It does not have a dishwasher but with only two people not a problem. Could use a towel rack in the bathroom.

If you need a Mill City location this should work. Outside not much to look at but inside is clean and relatively recently renovated. No dishwasher FYI but there is a laundry.
