Nature Nook Cabin, your peaceful hideaway ~ 25 mins to the Dells

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. At 350 sq feet, this quaint cabin for two is cozy and comfortable. Nature Nook sits on the hill of a 3 acre lake peninsula shared only by the host's home.

The cabin has both a front, screened in patio and a back deck over-looking a marsh where you can observe many species of water fowl. You can also sit at the fire pit surrounded by trees. Across the drive are walking paths through the woods down to the lake-front. It is lovely to look at...but too weedy to go swimming.

Kitchen is smaller, with a microwave, toaster oven and dual hotplate for cooking. Gnomes watch over the coffee nook with a Keurig, a selection of k-cups to get you started, and a refillable k-cup if you want to bring your own grounds. There is also a gas grill in front of the cabin, by the seating area.

Please note that this is a small cabin, with a small kitchen and small bathroom. There is a photo of the shower basin to demonstrate the size. Also, we are about half a mile from a railway crossing where they do blow their horns. It has not been an issue, but we want to be transparent.

Our property is surrounded on all sides by nature including: a lake, DNR marshland and woods. You will probably see or encounter wildlife during your stay at the Nature Nook. This could include: deer, rabbits, owls, eagles, foxes, black squirrels, mice, ants, mosquitoes, lake flies, giggers, or spiders. These creatures reside in nature, and while we take steps to secure the cabin, we ultimately have little control over Mother Nature.

Parking is free and directly in front of the cabin. Oxford is located in beautiful Marquette County. A short driving distance to Wisconsin Dells and all it has to offer. Enjoy Devils Lake State Park, John Muir Park, Cascade Mountain, snowmobile trails, hiking, boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hunting and ice fishing...just to name a few of the opportunities available in our beautiful and nature-filled area of Central Wisconsin.
