Five miles from the UAW Black lake golf club, 10,000 acre black lake, feet away from the trails and lasting memories. Perfect for hunters as this property is very close to surrounding state land. Centrally located from Rogers city, Mackinac, Petoskey and Gaylord. Bring your boats, quads, side by sides, snowmobiles and explore beautiful Northern Michigan. Free Wifi with strong connection. This property is also handicapped accessible/barrier free. Outdoor patio and fire pit. Plenty of room for your trailers and off road vehicles! Only 1/4 mile to the MI trail ride so no need to tow your trailer once you arrive. Perfect 4 season getaway.

The house was lovely. Beds were comfortable and the bedding was so very soft. Property is beautiful. Very nice local restaurants with homemade food. We had a wonderful time staying at this log cabin. Highly recommend.

The cottage is great for a couple or small family with a large front and rear deck. Beautiful surrounding fields and wooded lots for walks around the property. The cottage sits about a 150 yards off of a relatively busy road with vehicle noise that can be heard from the house. There is another home on the property that is occupied by a permanent resident however they were not seen or heard. The property is very close to many outdoor activities. We enjoyed skiing at the Black Mountain Cross Country Trail system about 20 minutes north. Communication with the host was perfect and check in/out was without difficulty. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

The cabin was beautiful. Clarke the Peacocke was entering and made multiple visits a day to see us. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do which was to sightsee in the area.

Relaxing Stay

We spent 3 nights in this cozy, comfortable, very clean, and very well stocked home. Many antiques in and outside, and wild flowers around the property abound! We were especially appreciative of all the environmentally friendly aspects of the home! It was a wonderful home base for biking the Huron Sunset Trail (so pretty along Lake Huron), hiking to the Ocqueoc Falls, and visiting Mackinaw Island (45 min away). Would definitely stay here again. Thinking it would be lovely in winter!
