Beautiful Cedar & Stone Home.

À distance de marche du lac Mulett, partie de la voie navigable intérieure. Apportez votre bateau pour profiter de nos belles voies d'eau ou simplement vous détendre et profiter de l'eau et du soleil dans notre parc de la ville, avec des prévenus couverts, des grillades, des tables de pique-nique et des quais pour accéder au lac et le lancement du bateau DNR.

Nous sommes nichés avec des arbres et des bois pour vous sentir détendu dans le nord de la forêt et, le soir, vous pouvez avoir un feu de camp avec votre famille et vos amis et profiter de la sérénité de notre location de vacances dans un cadre très propre, spacieux et confortable qui ressemble à maison.

La chambre des maîtres dispose d'un nouveau lit king size size Sleep Number et les deux autres chambres ont un lit queen. Nous disposons également d'un lit de jour et d'un lit bébé pour dormir, et sur demande, un matelas pneumatique sera fourni.

Il existe deux salles de séjour / familiales séparées pour une intimité détendue, nous sommes également accessibles aux personnes handicapées.

Pour les soirées et les jours pluvieux, nous avons aussi Dish TV. Et pour ces sorties d'une journée, nous sommes près de la ville de Mackinaw, du pont Mackinaw, de l'île Mackinaw, de la promenade en ferry, des serrures Soo, du parc d'état Aloha, de la zone de loisirs de Black Mountain, du sanctuaire Cross in the Woods, des Casinos, Petoskey, Gaylord, Black Lake, Et bien d'autres attractions du nord du pays.

Il existe une grille à charbon de bois, une table de pique-nique et des chaises extérieures empilables pour vos plaisirs extérieurs.

Bill and Sue's place was very welcoming, close to the lake, and very roomy. What more could you ask for? Sue was very good about checking in with us to see if we needed anything. The house was quaint and inviting. We had a wonderful time in northern Michigan! It was a great place to celebrate the 4th with our family.

This property was perfect for our annual ice fishing trip and accommodated six of us very nicely. The rental was spacious and clean, and the host was very pleasant to work with. The location of the rental is great for anyone looking for quick and easy access to all that Mullett Lake has to offer.

Cute and roomy cabin

We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was fairly close to the lake, a short walk away. Not too far from Cheboygan. Nice large lawn for kids and dogs to play.

A roomy, comfortable, beautiful setting.

We were thankful to find such a lovely setting to stay at for our large family gathering on Mullet Lake. The home was large and cozy, had great space in all the rooms and the beds were very comfy. The home was also pet friendly, which was a must.

Great place! Close to everything we did. Great space for 8 ladies to enjoy themselves. Beds were very comfortable. Loved having an outdoors grill and fire pit. We would stay again!

Communication was not great. No response on app for needs. Actual condition of the property is nothing like the pictures. The cabin looks run down and not maintained at all. Cabin was dirty. Holes/dents in the wall. Plugs without covers (unsafe). Bedding was not clean and was not comfortable. Bedding looks like it is from 1982. Ceiling fan in upstairs bedroom felt like it might fall down and made noise when in use. Dishes were not clean - had to wash everything prior to use. Cabinets are dirty inside and out. Garbage cans did not have bags in them. The cans themselves were disgusting. There was one garbage bag for the whole week. Moldy coffee found in coffee pot. Refrigerator door handles were dirty and disgusting and inside of refrigerator was dirty! Cob webs, ants, and spiders all over cabin. Shower is disgusting! Shower curtain is gross and dirty, shower is dirty with scum on walls. I felt like I had to wear my sandals in the shower. Shower rod is broken and rusted. Bathroom sink was clogged. Bathroom cabinet drawer broke medications left in bathroom drawer. So unsafe - I am glad I found them and not my daughter! Tobacco can found underneath one of the beds downstairs! Again - glad I found it instead of my daughter. Overall - our stay was terrible. I would NEVER stay here again. This cabin needs some basic and DEEP cleaning, some updates, and basic maintenance. I felt the condition of cabin was unacceptable for a rental property. Host could be better with communication.

Memorial Weekend Fishing Tourny

What a perfect place for 3 dads with their boys for a High School fishing tournament. Everything was as advertised and we had enough room for all 7 of us to have our own space! Plenty of beds! Sue was a pleasure to talk to and deal with. Very nice hosts! Will be back next year if available!

Northern Michigan family trip

My wife and sons and I stayed here and used it as a base of operations for day trips (Mackinac Island, St. Ignace, Cheboygan). It was great! Homey and comfortable. The fire pit was great, the host provided firewood (plus there’s tons to be gathered in the nearby woods). Kitchen was very nicely equipped for a northern Michigan cabin, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day. Lastly, it was nice watching the deer eat from the fruit trees on the other side of the road. Would recommend!

Excellent for our needs

We were a group of anglers up at Indian river for a bass tournament. There were 6 of us with 3 truck and trailer rigs. Plenty of room for vehicles. Homeowners lived next door and were super welcoming. Got home the first evening after fishing and we had a fire bull for us and plenty more wood for the week. The cabin is open and spacious. Great for a larger group like ours.

Vacation rental

There was no washer or dryer working as it was supposed to be included. The controls for the upstairs TV were missing which was a problem for an elderly person that could not go downstairs However, the property owners were friendly and the home was very clean.

A new remote was being sent from dish tv and it took a few day to get here and the washer did not get hooked up completely due to mechanical problem, guest was compensated for inconveniences, glad you enjoyed your stay!

OUTSTANDING!!! The Cabin/House Location Perfect

Our family traveled from Poseyville, Indiana (Far southern Indiana) to visit Michigan! The Cabin/House location was perfect in Indian River. The cabin sets back off the road somewhat in the woods. The cabin was so accommodating for the six adults and 2 children. The cabin was clean and well maintained. The cabin had a basement therefore, plenty of space for watching TV upstairs or downstairs. Plus some could sleep downstairs or upstairs. A dinette in the kitchen with bar stools at the kitchen counter, or you could eat at the dining table. It was everything we had hoped it would be. This was perfect for our 40th Wedding Anniversary Family Vacation. Adults and kids loved that we cooked outside or inside. The weather was beautiful all week. Sue and her husband were very sweet and helpful. They met our family when we arrived. We built a campfire at night, told spooky stories, & shared family time. There were chairs and a picnic table so we ate outside alot. Our family rented a pontoon at Mullett Lake, went boating, tube riding. We boated Mullett Lake, Birch Lake, and near Indian River. Several days we went to the public beach, it was beautiful . We went to Aloha State Park. We swam, played in the sand, and watched the boats. One day we went to Mackinac Island where to our surprise, our daughter was proposed to by her boyfriend. We celebrated their engagement on the wonderful island. We drove across the Mackinac Bridge. We went to Cheboygan to fish, ate at the restaurants. We went to several great ice cream shops. Our family also visited the Cross in the Woods, another beautiful place. One evening we went to the boat docks and watched the Indian River Lighted Boat Parade. Great memories! Thanks Sue

We stayed three weeks, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.One of our weeks we had friends arrive with a boat and trailer plus two other vehicles. Plenty of room for parking everyone. About one mile to a nice park and a boat launch.Fire pit available on the property, just need to provide your own firewood, plenty of that nearby for purchase.

Nice place to stay

Was very clean when we walked in. Very spacious and the 2 separate living areas was very nice. Owner was very nice. When renting please be aware that you need to bring your own paper towels and tp. Beds were super comfy. Overall a great experience.

Great cabin in secluded area

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Even though it is secluded, there is some type of motocross trail across the road so it can be noisy in the evenings when sitting outside around the campfire. A couple noisy trucks also went up and down the road each night. The cabin could use a little TLC, but it worked for us. Pluses: A/C, fire ring, roomy, large TV on the main floor and basement (access to Netflix and Prime Video), nice paved area for parking and clean. Remember that one bed is on the main floor and the rest of the beds are down the stairs in the basement (no bathroom on that level). The pictures are a bit outdated and show furniture that has been replaced or removed. This is more of a cabin setting. You will need to bring your own hairdryer, TP, paper towels. There is no dishwasher, washer or dryer. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or dresser/closets for clothes. The deck on the back is very small and has some loose and rotting floor boards under the carpet, so be careful. I don't think I would stay here again due to the one bathroom and the basement also has a musty, humid odor. But Sue the owner was a great communicator and the stay went as planned. You may not be able to tell from the pictures but there is a house trailer on one side, and the owner's home on the other.

We chose to stay at a cabin for a family vacation. We wanted to see Makanawic island which we did one day. Thought cabin was on a lake is by a lake but not for swimming. We found lots of nice beaches. Cabin was very nice and big. Has everything you need. Shower is nice but alittle small. We enjoyed our stay and loved our visit to the Upper Pinsulsa!

Quite and spacious

Great location, quiet and spacious. Bathroom was nice size but the shower was tiny and there is no tub. Most places we’ve stayed previously had washer & dryer, this one did not. A little inconvenient, but not a deal breaker. Lots of missing face plates on the electric plugs, and a hole at the the bottom of the front door that was covered with duck tape. It didn’t bother us much but it is a hazard for curious little kids. Overall we had a good stay.

Fairly priced

This property has everything but bathrooms. Roomy sleeping six but the bathroom would be crowded for two midgets! Shower (only) is tiny. Otherwise great location a long walk from Mullett Lake. Pure Michigan surrounds and abounds. Great fishing and golf nearby but no shore fishing close.

We have owned this property for 35 years, the land has a lot of history to it and has been in the family for over 100 years. We moved hear permently in 2002 after retiring from downstate Michigan, during those 30+ working years we would always travel weekend and all vacation to our favorite spot here and now we are sharing all the beauty of the north woods country so you can enjoy it also, to make this your home away from home also, we live next to the vacation rental so we try to accomadate your stay to be very memorable!

The inland waterways are a very short distance from the cottage, with the dnr boat launch is just around the corner along with a beautiful township park that has a dock on Mullett lake for swimming access along wth a covered povillion, picnic tables and grills, what a beautiful area uto relax at. There are new bathrooms there and plenty of room to do horse shoes or other games to your pleasure.
