Makena Surf Resort is an exclusive luxurious complex within a gated community in the heart of Makena. Directly ocean and beach-front, you will be greeted with stunning views of the Pacific and neighboring islands, as well as the sound of waves crashing along the shoreline. The complex offers a variety of amenities on-site, including an ocean view pool, hot tub, tennis courts, barbeques, security, free parking, and gorgeous tropical landscaping.

Makena Surf B-204 is well appointed with all of the comforts of home and luxuries of tropical decadence. Relax in serenity on the chaise lounge chairs along your private expansive lanai. Cook a fabulous meal within the fully stocked expansive kitchen with high end appliances. This large unit sleeps 6 comfortably, with a King sized bed in the master and 2 Queen beds in the second bedroom and a Queen pull out sofa. This unit also includes high speed WiFi & Cable, a washer & dryer in-house, and Central A/C for your comfort. Additionally, we have also include beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach cooler, and beach towels for all of your beach or pool excursions!

Makena Surf Resort is situated on Poolenalena Beach, where world class snorkeling, diving, and other watersports are right at your back door. You are just a short drive to the famous Shops at Wailea where you will find divine shopping and dining experiences, as well as nearby activities and adventure tours including outstanding golf courses, boat charters, surfing, paddle-boarding, whale-watching when in season, kayaking, hiking, horse-back riding, ATV tours, and much, much more!

Cancellation Policies:

Travel Insurance – Please look into this as your first line of defense, as it limits losses for both parties in this difficult time. All of the major booking sites offer trip insurance and you can purchase this protection directly at time of booking. Also, many credit cards do offer travel reimbursement as terms of their program, so please check with your credit card company should you chose not to protect your trip with the site you are booking this reservation with.

For bookings without Travel Insurance:

Cancellation - 30 Days or More before check-in, Renters will receive a Full Refund, minus a $99.00 Admin Fee plus tax

Cancellation - 29 Days or Less before check-in, Renters will forfeit the total rental amount. The total rental includes all charges on the paid in full invoice.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Second time staying at this condo. The location is prime! We saw several whales from our lanai even this late in the season. We spotted spinner dolphins as well which was fantastic. Fortunately my husband brought binoculars to really zoom in on the whales in the distance. We really enjoy this particular condo due to its proximity to the beach and the pool. It is nicely appointed inside as well. No BBQ on lanai like last year. There are some available at the pool though. Construction was sill happening at the pool near condo B on a rock wall they were installing. I assumed they were finished since the project started last year. So that was noisy when at the pool. Looks like they will be done soon. There is another pool to use but I just like the proximity to our unit. We had everything we needed and made ourselves at home in this beautiful condo. The only disappointment was having to leave to go home.

B-204 has tremendous view, clean, comfortable, great location next to beach, 2nd pool with barbecues, tennis courts. Only negative comment is a few sundries should be included (e.g., soap, small bottles of body wash/shampoo/conditioner).

The view and access to the beach was perfect. It also had relaxing pools and BBQ area that we used. The landscaping and grounds were well maintained. The management team was very pleasant and helpful and were there for us if we needed anything or had questions.

Amazing Property, Amazing Unit and Amazing Property Management!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time using VIP and coming to this property. We loved loved the property as a whole. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful!!! Loved sitting having coffee every morning with the beach and ocean right in front of us. Loved hitting the pool with our boys late morning while they dove for their toys and played in the pool! Loved playing on the beach every afternoon and watching the amazing sunsets either from the beach or from our Lanai! The unit was spacious, clean and fully stocked including everything you need in a kitchen, everything! We also had beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and a wagon to make the beach more enjoyable. Temperatures in the unit were always perfect thanks the AC and garbage and recycling just outside the door to make it easy for us every time we headed to the pool. We cooked every night and had everything we needed to do so. There were plenty of spices as well there to use. Wendi and Carol were very quick to respond with any questions and responded immediately if we needed anything additional. They rocked! Overall, great location with amazing views! We will be back to this unit/complex and will definitely look to use VIP again!
