Looking for a quick getaway? Come relax in our cozy river home just an hour drive from Houston. Enjoy the peace and quiet as you lounge on the patio and watch the many hummingbirds. Unwind with a glass of wine as you watch the most amazing sunsets from the dock. Cook smores by the fire pit. Great location with plenty of room to fish and enjoy the outdoors. The home was so clean and comfortable with plenty of room to sleep and enjoy family time. We will definitely be returning to this home.

Fantastic location and stay in Brazoria

Great place to relax and play, a bit off the beaten path but right on the river, very nice well kept and clean property highly recommend and plan on booking again asap.

Lovely stay!

My parents and I had a lovely stay. The house was perfect and so clean and comfortable. Especially enjoyed swinging on the porch taking in the views of the river.

Excellent Getaway!

Our family with adult kids and a young granddaughter stayed for the arrival of a new baby from our youngest son and daughter in law. The place was very clean and comfortable and the host is quick to respond to questions! Highly recommended and we will stay again!

Perfect spot for a fabulous weekend

We had a great time celebrating Father's Day at this lovely river house. Location was great. House was clean and comfortable. Host was easy to communicate with. Would definitely consider renting again.

The house is very pleasant and the property is very quiet and relaxing. Its very nice to walk to the river in the back yard and just chill and relax and do some fishing!!

We had a group of 6 stay here for a wedding near by and had a great time. The place was clean and plenty of room inside and especially outside for a small get together. Host communicated great. I recommend this place.

WEEKEND GETAWAY

The house was clean, everything we needed was available. Shopping was nearby if you forgot anything... but just like the original post says, you wont want to leave. The peroperty is set up well, and everything was beautiful. We will add this to our list of favorite river houses.

Great communication

This property has been a life saver since we have been working in the area. It beats putting our workers in an hotel week after week. The host has been very responsive to any and every need we have had. Place is very clean. Great fishing!

Wonderful. The only issue was the lack of a curtain or blind in Room with queen bed. To much light at night and morning.

Wedding Weekend

Such an awesome place on the San Bernard River!! We have a place on the river about 10 minutes away and we rented this house for our son’s wedding weekend! The bridesmaids stayed the night before the wedding and loved it!! Our son and his new bride stayed after the wedding and a few extra days before heading on their honeymoon to Greece! Such a nice, clean and well kept property and the owner was great with answering any questions we had!! We will definitely rent again when we have overflow guests at our river house! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful house on the San Bernard River!!

A Peaceful Christmas Getaway

My parents, boyfriend and I stayed at the Hummingbird over Christmas while visiting family & had a lovely time. The home is adorable & stylish, the porch & dock are serene to sit on in the sunshine & communication with our host was like texting a friend. 10/10 do recommend!

Family trip to Brazoria County

We had a great time. Two teen age grandsons and preteen granddaughter. We were in the area for some hunting and used this as our “camp”. Worked out great. The house is really nice and has a huge backyard down to the river.

Comfortable and Relaxing

The property owners were easy to work with, the house is comfortable and nicely decorated, and the view of the river is terrific. We were in the area for a big family celebration and it was nice to have this place for leisurely breakfasts on the back deck and a bit of quiet after big family gatherings.
