Located in North Park, this fully remodeled 1914 Craftsman offers the perfect blend of location, privacy, and style. Enjoy a stunning outdoor area with a new 30 ft. Trex deck, heated pool/hot tub, resort furniture, 65-inch outdoor TV, market lights, and a 6-burner gas grill. Inside, find 4 beds, 2.5 baths, a chef’s kitchen, Carrera marble bathrooms, original hardwood floors, and coffered ceilings.



The Space:

Casa Clandestino is one of the most unique finds in San Diego. Upon walking in this home, guests are greeted with charm and elegance. Stunning landscaping and mature foliage provide a private and quiet escape all while being in the center of North Park - San Diego's most desirable neighborhood.



Complete with a fully gated property, charming front porch with a swing & sprawling backyard - it's all just a several minute walk to San Diego's best eateries, shops, coffee & Balboa Park. This 4-bed, 2.5 bath luxury home can sleep 9 adults comfortably as well as 4 little ones in pack 'n plays (two are provided with sheets).



Our home exudes modern indoor/outdoor living. It's accommodating and modern, with gorgeous palms and courtyard views from the front porch and throughout the home. Hotel style linens, new Slumber Solutions mattresses, blankets and pillows, a fully equipped chef's kitchen and a large dining room table for family style dinners.



We've thoughtfully designed a space where friends and families can enjoy upgraded amenities, including lightning-fast fiber internet, cozy workspaces, beach chairs and gear, a high chair, toys, and a pack 'n play for little ones. Plus, Target, Baron's Market, CVS, and some of the area's top breweries and restaurants are just a short walk or drive away!



Every detail has been considered in this exquisite home featuring: stunning workmanship with period correct custom shaker-style cabinetry, premium stainless steel KitchenAid appliances, leather-finish granite countertops, Carrera w/ black marble flooring, herringbone full wall tiling, original built-in benches in, central AC/Heat and Maytag front load washer/dryer.



Make your vacation unforgettable in this historic, luxurious space. Bask in the California sun with a dip in the private backyard pool or enjoy an outdoor movie night on the expansive 30-foot deck. Stroll to the iconic Balboa Park, marvel at the Downtown skyline from Bird Park, or hike the scenic trails of Morley Field. Unwind beneath the shade of majestic eucalyptus trees, visit the friendly animals at the San Diego Zoo, or spend a relaxing beach day in Coronado. With everything within walking distance, you can savor local food and drink like a true foodie, explore endlessly, or simply relax and recharge.



Experience the finest in California living with the brand new custom heated pool and wrap around deck (does not have jets). Our pool is perfect for kids to splash around and swim while parents unwind on the outdoor patio. And for adults looking to have their own fun, it can fit 6-7 adults comfortably, perfect for poolside drinks and refreshing dips or relaxing after a day of adventures. Our cowboy pool is 22 inches deep and 10 ft. in diameter - it has a cover. During the summer months, our pool is set to the mid-80s. This is to ensure the water remains refreshing during the warm weather and to maintain the safety of all guests and children.



Please Note: While we do offer a heated pool, there may be times when it does not reach its full heating potential due to weather conditions or other factors beyond our control. We always strive to keep everything running optimally for your stay, but refunds will not be provided if the heater is not working as expected. Thank you for your understanding!

Guests will have the entire fully gated property to themselves. There is no shared space.

North Park, San Diego, is a laid-back, vibrant neighborhood perfect for families, couples, and groups of any age. Locals love walking the area, taking in its beautiful architecture, art, parks, and friendly vibe.



This home’s location is unbeatable—just steps from top restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. Nearby favorites include Alexander’s, Cori Pastificio, Underbelly, Dunedin, Aburi Sushi, Modern Times Brewery, and The Smoking Goat.



Walk to local gems in 2 minutes, Bird Park in 5, and drive to the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, or Downtown in under 10 minutes.



Getting Around:

The home features a private 1-car garage, a driveway parking spot, and plenty of free street parking. It's also located on new protected bike lanes that connect all the urban neighborhoods, making it easy to get around. Walking or biking is the best way to explore North Park, South Park, Normal Heights, University Heights, and Golden Hill. Ubers and Lyfts are readily available, and the airport is just a quick 10-minute drive away, making travel hassle-free.



Other Things to Note:

Pet Policy:

- Approval Required: All pets must be approved by the host. Add them to your reservation and include their weight and breed in a message.

- Allowed: 1 hypoallergenic or low-shedding dog up to 30 pounds per reservation.

- Fee: $150; guests staying over two weeks must schedule a mid-stay cleaning.

- Unapproved Pets: $500 fee or more for unapproved pets. Additional fees may apply for damages caused by pets.

- Pets must have their own bed, cannot be on furniture or beds, and must be walked for bathroom needs. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets.



The 4th bedroom with the vaulted gray ceilings is a detached separate unit just a couple steps from the main house. We call this the pool house! It has a king bed, couch, queen sized air mattress, dining area, mini fridge, its own mini split unit with A/C and heat and a private half bathroom (sink and toilet) - making it the ultimate private space.



We’re happy to provide champagne, wine, and/or chocolates upon request for an additional fee. Please feel free to inquire if you’d like to add any of these to your stay. 🍾

Cancellation Policy:

Our nightly rate includes a 3% credit card processing fee, which is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. This applies to all booking platforms and direct bookings, except for those made through Airbnb.

We enjoyed the kitchen and clean rooms. We did not use the pool.The pool bedroom was quite noisy at night and very cold. The outlets did not work.

The house is awesome! Very clean and a fun backyard! Also, the kitchen was well stocked allowing us to cook easily. We couldn’t get the cowboy tub to heat to where we would like. 98 seemed to be the top temp but it was still fun! Highly recommend.

Amazing Private Urban Getaway

This place is just as advertised, highly recommend it. Great access to North Park night life, restaurants, and golf at Balboa Park! Very private and amazing amenities. The host was very easy to communicate with and had clear and easy checkin/checkout instructions. Would stay here again!

We make it a priority to check in with guests during each stay—just as we did with you 😊. Since we didn’t hear back, we assumed everything was going well. It’s disappointing to learn about issues like the TV remotes and dining chair after checkout, as we would have been happy to address those right away. We keep extra batteries and spare remotes on hand, and our team could have quickly repaired or replaced anything needed. It’s also worth noting that you arrived and entered the property before the approved check-in time, while our previous guests were still departing. Early check-ins must be pre-approved so our cleaning and inspection teams can properly prepare the home. Entering early can unfortunately disrupt that process. As a small, family and female-owned business, communication and respect for check-in policies mean a great deal to us. We work hard to accommodate every guest while maintaining the high standards we’re known for. We appreciate you staying with us and wish you all the best on your future travels.

The place was very cute, clean and charming. However I have many complaints especially for the price. The parking on the street wasn’t great and difficult to pull a car in the tiny garage. Also, the pictures of the beds were misleading. Although there were 2 king sized beds, the other 2 bedrooms were supposed to have been queens and they appeared small more like a Full. The counter spaces in the bathrooms were very small and the one bathroom only had a small face mirror. Not easy at all for a bunch of women to get ready at the same time. We didn’t use the ‘cowboy pool’ b/c it seemed like too much work to get the 2 covers off and all. I wouldn’t recommend this property for a girls trip.

Many guests have actually noted how convenient it is to have two dedicated parking spots in the heart of North Park, where parking can otherwise be a challenge. As for the beds, each one is accurately listed and measured, so it sounds like there may have been some confusion when reviewing the photos online. Regarding the cowboy pool, it’s designed to be easily used—guests simply pull the lightweight covers off and fill it as desired. It’s one of our most-loved features, especially when heated! We also provide multiple full-length mirrors throughout the home and pool house to make getting ready simple and enjoyable. We always make a point to check in during each stay—just as we did with you 😊. Since we didn’t hear back after your initial check-in, we assumed everything was going smoothly and that you were enjoying your visit. We truly wish you had reached out if anything felt off, as we would have been happy to help right away. I also want to kindly mention that when we offered you an early check-in option at our standard rate of $35 per hour, your response was quite dismissive and called the fee “crazy.” As a small, family and female-owned business, we do our best to accommodate requests whenever possible while also supporting our cleaning teams and maintaining fair operations. These small fees help cover the cost of additional staffing and preparation time so we can continue providing the level of service and quality we’re known for. We truly value open and respectful communication from our guests, as it helps us make each stay as smooth as possible. Our goal is always to provide a welcoming and well-maintained space where guests can relax and feel at home. This place is magic. Incredible location, beautifully decorated, and so thoughtful in the details. Our family of four loved everything about this place - from the beautiful deck and pool, the comfy beds, and the small touches like a bath mat in the bathroom we used for the kids. Walkable to some fantastic restaurants. This will be our go to place for all future stays in San Diego!
