The downtown delight is great for any kind of stay, whether you are looking to sight see, attend an event or work remotely. The home has been recently renovated with upscale furnishings. Convenient location on a quiet street with private yard, walking distance to city center. 3 bedrooms that sleep 6 comfortably with space for everyone both inside and out! This modern and stylish 1930’s bungalow known as the Downtown Delight is the perfect place to stay. You will be a quick stroll away from all the best Raleigh has to offer. Our guests enjoy easy access to outstanding restaurants, museums, coffee shops, parks, Red Hat Amphitheater, concert venues, and so much more. Bike and scooter rentals are just a few blocks away. After a long day of exploring the town, relax on the charming front porch rocking chairs overlooking the quiet, cul-de-sac street or grill out in the private, fenced-in yard and play with your pup. Yes, the Downtown Delight is waiting for you (and your pup’s) arrival!

Great location

Stayed here for a family wedding downtown. This is such a great location and so close to everything you need to get to if you are spending time downtown. We all had a great time and especially enjoyed the yard with our dog.

Great home and location!

This house was amazing for our long weekend stay! It was close to a lot that Raleigh has to offer and the house itself was clean with great amenities. The host did a great job with having lots of suggestions for local restaurants, breweries, and shops nearby provided. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful bungalow super close to downtown

This is just a beautiful and extremely comfortable bungalow nestled close into downtown Raleigh and convenient via Uber to virtually anywhere. There is a tasty food hall just down the street, and the beds and amenities are very comfortable and well designed! Easy parking and a wonderful front porch make things extra perfect.

Great Property in Downtown Raleigh

This was a wonderful house close to all downtown amenities. Location was great, the house was beautiful and clean and the yard was a plus since we are traveling with two dogs. The greenway is a great place to walk and people are friendly. The hose was quick to respond with any questions and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very nice Bungalow

This was perfect for our family of 6 and small dog. Only 5 minutes away from downtown. A perfect fenced in backyard for our dog. Stacy was great in responding to our questions.

Loved the rocking chairs

Stayed three nights with 2 friends and it was great. The added bonus was the great rocking chairs on the front porch, which we sat on for a few hours catching up on one morning. Love the balance of being in the city, but still a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Thanks Stacy!

Sporting Event

We were in town for a sporting event and we had to bring our two small dogs. The house was just as described and pictured. It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the location was convenient to shopping, dining and downtown. If in the area again we would stay here.

We loved our stay in this Raleigh home! The location was great in a quiet historic neighborhood. Close enough to walk to downtown. The fenced in backyard was a great plus for the dogs to enjoy. Weekend trip for a wedding

We were just staying for the weekend in order to attend a friends wedding downtown. The location was amazing. It was easy to walk to shops, food halls, and even the wedding venue. The house was nice and clean and had all of the amenities we could think of, even a changing pad for our baby! We would highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet neighborhood but easy access to downtown Raleigh.

Downtown Delight

Was in town for a wedding and booked my stay at Stacy’s VRBO. Stacy was extremely helpful and very responsive to any questions that I had. The property is very cute and updated as well as clean. This property is a very short walk/ride to the downtown area of Raleigh. If I ever return to Raleigh I will definitely be staying here again.

What an amazing home!

Only amazing things to say about this place and the host. The location is incredible, walking distance to downtown and the beautiful historic neighborhood as well as a dog park. The house has everything you need and the host is attentive and communication was great. Will come back again.
