The CORIELL MANSION is an 1897 historical masterpiece, the largest home built in the Queen City! It's 11,000 sq ft & absolutely stunning. This mansion features 12 Bedrms 7.5 Ba, New Central Air/Heat, a pool table, laundry, multiple sitting areas, a huge dining room, full kitchen w 2 islands, wrap around porch & laundry. It has super comfy beds & is always extremely clean w fresh linens & towels. 30 miles from NYC! Excellent for gatherings but NO DJ’s or activities that disturb neighbors.

The space
The designer finishes and tasteful furniture is all BRAND NEW! This home is truly a one of a kind and offers an amazing experience for it's guests. Wifi. Security System. Professionally managed as well.

Guest access
The basement is the only prohibited space. Other than that the entire house inside and out is for the guests use.

Other things to note
We have thirteen 50 inch tv’s in the home. They are smart TV’s so you can login to youtube, netflix etc. We also have an 85 inch large Smart TV located on the third floor lounge.
Property has security cameras around perimeter.

Our nightly rate is clearly posted on the VRBO calendar. The cleaning fee is $499.00. There will be a late departure fee of $250.00 for every hour past 10:00 AM the day of scheduled departure.

First and foremost - Steve (manager/owner) was super responsive to all of my many, many questions and very friendly to boot!The location is terrific. Walking around the neighborhood and seeing a bunch of historic mansions was really neat. There are lots of grocery stores nearby. And if you like pickleball, there are courts not too far away. The kids in our group also went to play on the football field that's about 1/4 mi away.We didn't use the caterers that were suggested, but I think it would be a good idea of you have lots of people.The smell of the shampoo/conditioner and body wash is fantastic!! It's very gentle, not harsh at all.The amount of dishes was great. And two dishwashers is also great.The pool table was really fun. We didn't have much luck with the video games.There is a the garbage dumpster outside which is super helpful with a ton of people in the house.The sheets and comforters are super soft, everyone loved them.I was worried that the kids playing xbox (we brought ours) on 3rd floor would be loud, but the carpet helps keep it pretty quiet.Things that I'm sure will be improved-The pots and pans were very scratched up. I'm sure Steve has already replaced these.There is one regular size fridge. We had a lot of people and a lot of food over the holiday. I brought several ice chests to use, but another small fridge would be helpful.The oven has 2 racks and is on the small side. Another oven would also be helpful.We all had a great time!

The mansion is even better than the pictures. Steve is such a great host, accommodating, communicative, and friendly. The mansion is full of details, there is a detail in every corner. You really feel like a queen in the house. The decoration is stunning and the place has everything you need to be comfortable, spoiled and entertained. You can share it with my people and still have your own privacy since it’s so spacious. Steve is so nice that I ordered from Costco and it arrived before I did, so he not only brought it inside but organized it in the kitchen for me. I couldn’t be more pleased! 1000 stars!!!

We stayed at the 1897 Mansion for six nights for our wedding, and it was truly unforgettable. The moment we stepped in, it felt like home a place where family and friends came together, reunited after so long. The house itself is beautiful, filled with charm and character, but what made it special was how it gave us the space to laugh, celebrate, and create memories that we’ll hold onto forever.Every corner of the mansion has a story, and by the time our stay ended, it felt like we had added our own chapter to its history. None of us wanted to leave it was more than just a venue, it was the heart of our celebration. We’re so grateful to have found this gem, and leaving was bittersweet because it truly became a part of our family’s story.

Family Get-together

Great stay for a large group of friends

We had a wonderful stay at the Coriel Mansion for a reunion of a large group of women in their 40s. Steve was an excellent host and full of great recommendations - we used a chef he recommended as well as ordering from a local bagel place. The house is incredibly spacious and great for a relaxing and fun gathering. The neighborhood doesn't have a lot to offer, which we knew when we booked it so it was not an issue, but is important for future guests to understand.

Perfect Birthday Weekend

We stayed at this beautiful mansion for a long birthday weekend. Had a nice party with family and friends. The house was amazing very clean and had so many amenities. The owner communicated with us and went above and beyond to make our visit more than what we expected. Close to the airport and the city making the location great. Overall we would definitely stay here again. We had a blast! 5 stars

Christmas in Plainfield

We had a wonderful time with family in this spacious home. There was ample seating in common rooms for us to spend time together and plenty of comfortable bedrooms for when someone needed a little quiet time. The kids set up their train set in the (very wide) front hall and there was still room for others to walk through. People enjoyed the pool table or working on jigsaw puzzles in the parlour and dining room. We cooked some delicious meals in the kitchen and very much appreciated the two dishwashers! Lots of space, lots of fun, a wonderful family time!

Perfect Bridal Party Space

We stayed here with our bridal party and friends coming in from overseas for the weekend of our wedding. Immediately, everyone was raving about the space and how gorgeous and huge it was. On the night before the wedding, we used it as the rehearsal dinner space, bringing in pans of catering but heating, serving, and using dishware all on site. We were so pleased with how well stocked the kitchen was. We spent so much time on the porch, playing pool, and taking pictures on the staircase. On the morning of the wedding, we had hair, makeup, videography, and photography come to us at the house. It was a great space that kept us from feeling like we were tripping over each other. I’m so excited to see the photos and videos because I know the aetting was perfect. Even before we arrived, Steve was so helpful and flexible in our booking process. I could not recommend this space more highly!

The house was perfect for our family reunion. The house and the facilities met our needs. Our invited friends thought the same about the home. Corporate Retreat

The mansion was the perfect setting for a corporate team building retreat. Everything was set up for comfort and enjoyment for a large group. Luckily, a handful of our team members didn't mind the shared baths on the 3rd floor. Those who wanted more privacy stayed in the 4 rooms on the 2nd floor. The large dining room served as a meeting space without incurring the cost of an additional room rental. The island and table in the kitchen were perfect for meal prep, serving and games. However, only having 1 regular-size fridge/freezer was limiting for the food we brought and prepared over the 5 days. On the 2nd night, a tree went down on the property and the power was off for 18 hours. The property manager was responsive and accommodating. Although it put a slight damper on our planned activities, the owner handled it and communicated well. A heat wave was forecast for the week and I was concerned with whether the AC would be sufficient. The answer is yes! I thought I would include this detail in my review so the next person would not be apprehensive since this is a big, old house. Thanks again to Steve, German and the cleaning crew for helping our group conduct business in the comfort of your property.

Omg we brought so much stuff thinking it wouldn’t be at house but let me tell you it was so clean all supplies were there everything we needed the host was very accommodating! We really enjoyed ourselves we are looking forward to renting again! The best weekend ever!!!

Everyone loves this home. It's size is stunning and the fact that it is an 11,000 sq ft home from 1897 is just mind boggling. The wrap around porch, the beautiful spacious rooms, makes it the perfect home for gatherings, business retreats, reunions, micro weddings, family dinners, or just a unique stay at a gorgeous mansion. It has 13 beds and 7.5 baths, a huge double island kitchen with two dishwashers, 10 parking spots (tandem), a nice backyard, a billiards table, huge dining rooms tables (3), and much more.
