Private Bunkhouse on Small Charming Family Farm

Find yourself in a private paradise in our newly renovated Bunkhouse. Only a 45 minute drive from Wisconsin golf havens. The Bunkhouse has modern amenities with farm charm set on 5.5 acres. The kitchenette offers a toaster oven, microwave, espresso maker and a mini-fridge stocked with beverages.

The private locale offers a queen Murphy bed and full-sized memory foam sleeper sofa. The building has rapid wi-fi and updated heating and A/C unit to keep you comfortable.

In the renovation process, we painstakingly removed the live edge cedar planks that lined the walls and had them remilled and installed them ourselves as an accent ceiling. The bunkhouse also offers a charming wood-burning stove to create an even more cozy setting.

Enjoy a fire or a night sitting on the wrap-around porch listening to the crickets and frogs while unwinding.

Our property offers the perfect mix of privacy (no neighbors on top of you or even in sight!) but also a short drive to the grocery store, great restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing.

Great Little Place on the Farm!

It is small, but the inside is beautifully done, and it is in a great spot on a lovely semi working farm. The family that stays there and their three little kids, and their big friendly dog, are all wonderful! We will be back!

Perfect home away from home

Brian and Carly have created such a relaxing, cozy space in their bunkhouse. It was clean, the beds were comfy, and the welcome basket was such a nice touch! I cannot wait to drag again!

The best!

What treat to stay at this property and be surrounded by a pastoral setting. The resident chickens, the friendly Newfoundland dog, the children, and, of course, the gracious and friendly hosts made for a lovely stay. Everything is as pictured - delightful!

Quiet, cozy, and refreshing!

We rent this place for a week while we keep our fishing boat in Port Washington. Spend a great deal of time on Lake Michigan, and when we need rest and sleep, head back here to recharge. Perfect place to get off the beaten path.

Outstanding!

Really great home away from home near Milwaukee, the lakeshore and great hiking areas. The bunkhouse has all the comforts of home, and the hosts go above and beyond. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay during Harley Homecoming. There are some decent roads to ride on away from the city. The scenery was excellent. Our hosts were wonderful. It's a very quite serene place to wind down after a noisy day full of sensory overload.

Serene setting

Beautiful grounds in quiet serene setting. Quaint bunkhouse with huge porch to enjoy viewing chickens and turkeys. Felt like being in the country but close to nearby towns & Milwaukee. In the area visiting family and hope to return again soon. Highly recommend.

Great quiet getaway location, wonderful hosts and fun chickens on the farm!

This was a really nice comfy getaway property. Very quiet and private. Loved watching the chickens on the property. Who knew that would be so much fun!? Hosts were very attentive and offered advice about things to do. They even found us a free admission pass to the Audubon nature center! Nice location, close to town, but still private and quiet, just what we wanted!

Fun weekend getaway

Newly rehabbed farm bunkhouse. Nice basket of goodies waiting for us. Private but owners were near if we needed them. Quiet. Favorite part was a big picture window that showed beautiful sunsets! Lots to do in the area. Restaurants, walking paths, beautiful bike path!

The bed in the main bedroom was the worst bed I have slept in , the mattress did not fit the frame and we had to prop up the right hand side of the mattress to level it.There were no dish cloths or tea towels.The house was set up to accommodate 4 people but only had lounge seating for 2.

Amazing Property, Kind Hosts

I stayed here the night before and night of my wedding. The Bunkhouse and surrounding setting we're serene and beautiful, perfect for calm and relaxing escape. The host (Brian) was quick and thorough in communication, and was a pleasure to work with. The host really went above and beyond to help make my stay around my wedding enjoyable and stress free. 10/10, would stay again.
