Escape to a Private Cabin Retreat in the Heart of New York’s Southern Tier
Welcome to our family cabin, a peaceful getaway nestled on 60 private acres along a quiet seasonal road. Surrounded by nature and wildlife, this secluded retreat is the perfect place to relax, unplug, and enjoy the beauty of the countryside. It’s common to see deer, turkeys, and other wildlife right from the property.

The cabin sits beside your own private pond where guests can fish, swim, or enjoy the large waterslide for some summer fun. Spend your days relaxing in the hammock, enjoying the outdoor patio, or simply taking in the quiet surroundings with very little traffic on the road.

Our location puts you close to many of the Southern Tier’s best attractions. The world-famous Corning Museum of Glass is just 20 minutes away, while beautiful Keuka Lake is about a 30-minute drive. You can also explore the stunning scenery of Watkins Glen State Park, located about 45 minutes from the cabin. The region is also known for its wineries, outdoor recreation, and charming small towns.

In the evenings, gather around the campfire and enjoy the peaceful night sky. Some firewood is provided, but for longer stays we ask guests to bring additional wood if possible. Inside the cabin, relax with a movie on the 70-inch TV with surround sound, or enjoy family time with board games, cornhole, foosball, and other activities available for both kids and adults. Kayaks are also available for use on the pond.

The fully equipped kitchen includes cookware, utensils, spices, and everything needed to prepare meals or barbecue on the patio (propane is provided). Linens, blankets, towels, laundry soap, and basic household supplies are all included for your stay.

Well-behaved pets are welcome—we know they are part of the family too.

For guests planning a larger gathering, the property also features a unique tiki bar area that can be used for reunions, small weddings, or celebrations. There is plenty of parking available, and special arrangements can be made for larger groups.

Please note that the cabin is located off the beaten path, and cell service may be limited depending on your carrier (Verizon tends to work best). There is basic TV available but no streaming services. Many guests find this to be part of the charm—a chance to unplug, relax, and truly enjoy nature.

This cabin was the perfect retreat for Father’s Day weekend. We enjoyed the slide, zip line, kayaks, and hot tub. The cabin was clean and cozy inside and downstairs was a great space to relax and enjoy time together. We would definitely book this space again.

I stayed with my husband, 3 boys and our dog. The cabin was everything that was described. We caught fish daily, used the kayaks and the hot tub. We saw so many deer, 2 groundhogs and duck. We loved being at the house but also had fun exploring the local towns and even traveling to see Watkins Glen and Letchworth State Park. Definitely a vacation worth remembering.

Had a wonderful time plugging out of technology and into nature in it's purest form. Property was clean and as listed with all stated amenities. Pet friendly. Host was attentive. They had excellent response times for any necessary questions. 10 out of 10 will be going again

The place wasn’t very clean & needs updating. The downstairs bath was more like a utility closet/bathroom. It contained mops & buckets in the corner as well as life jackets. There were no towels put out for us or even paper towels to dry your hands. The upstairs shower was dirty looking and had brown on the bottom of the liner. The stovetop was a flat top and very greasy (I didn’t even want to touch it). The upholstery on the chairs & couch was very worn & not really clean especially on the arms of the chairs. The sheets in the bedroom were white but when you looked at the pillowcases they had pinkish streaks on them. I didn’t want to put my head on them. The air conditioning units seemed like they needed a good cleaning, too. We found coffee filters but no maker or coffee. The hot tub outside was very cloudy looking. We would not go in it. The zip lines were not safe. The fishing gear was not stored properly. Hooks were laying around. If we had toddlers we would be upset. Overall we were disappointed in the condition & safeness of the property. The last time we used Vbro for a stay it was excellent in comparison.

The property was just as depicted....lots of space for the dog, a hot tub, great kitchen facilities, a nice fireplace for the chilly evenings. Lots of wildlife to see and photograph....we HIGHLY recommend this property

Relaxing Getaway

Had a great time as usual at the Cabin Getaway. Saw lots of wildlife from the deck. Had fun swimming and enjoyed the hot tub. Everything you need for a peaceful stay. Can’t wait to go back next year.

A great place for an isolated get away and relaxing stay. It was just what my wife and I were looking for, but you could so easily imagine the wonderful larger family gatherings that have and can happen at this property.

Great place to unwind

Great getaway

We enjoyed relaxing in the cozy cabin. Thoroughly enjoyed the pond and hot tub. We were looking for relaxation and found it here!
