Chic Cricket Cottage | 3 Bed, 2 Bath

This cottage tucked away in a quiet cove is your perfect getaway! This newly renovated home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms will sleep 6 adults and has plenty of room for Pack n' Plays for small children as well. With a spacious living room, open floor plan, and bench seating around the dining table, you will have plenty of room for the whole crowd in this home.

The house has a split floorplan with the primary bedroom and bathroom on one side of the living room and the other two bedrooms with shared bath on the other side. The balcony and patio areas include a porch swing bed, outdoor couch, gas grill, and a dining table. The view is fantastic with plenty of waterfront! Under the home is an unfinished basement with canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards available for guest use. Internet and cable are provided. The home is in the Sandy Creek area of the lake.  A maximum of 2 dogs are permitted with payment of a pet fee. There is a regular coffee pot at this property. The fireplace is decorative only and is not functional.

We had a lovely time at this location to just rest and relax while enjoying our favorite local restaurants. The property is very up to date and well maintained inside. A beautiful lot and lovely view of the lake. It was so relaxing. We loved it.

Great week at the Lake

We had a wonderful stay at Chic Cricket Cottage. We brought our boat and stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The dock the water and the location were great. We would definitely stay here again.

Great venue with beautiful views and fun decor

This a lovely and well appointed place with Great Lake views. The interiors are well decorated and the place is very cute ! It’s a good place to be quiet and escape and be surrounded by nature. I was able to work remotely here also and go for a run and a hike around the lake.

Great location. Property had a kayak, paddleboard, and plenty of rafts for fun on the lake. Enjoyed the sunsets and quiet little cove the property was located on.

Great lake house!

We spent Christmas week at Chic Cricket Cottage. It was perfect. The house is well suited for entertaining, and features lake views and a wonderful and functional covered deck. The place could not have better suited our needs. Will definitely stay there again.

Great lake getaway

This is a great place to getaway for a lake vacation. The house is separated from neighbors by dense trees so it's very private. The view of the cove and sunsets each night is much better than indicated by the photos. The house has been redecorated and is in very good shape. I recommend bringing or renting a boat to enjoy lake Martin

Relaxing Weekend

Such a beautiful property! We had a little trouble with access that was corrected quickly. Loved the outdoor spaces! The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bathrooms could use a deep clean. Very comfortable places to relax and sleep. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home! Waking up to that lake view was a dream!

Beautiful and relaxing

Nestled in a quiet little cove, with a breathtakingly beautiful view of the lake. The home is adorably decorated and very clean and comfortable. Everything you need to relax and have have fun is provided, to include kayak, paddle board, canoe for during the day, and card/board games and streaming services to wind down in the evening. A boat launch is located on the property, so no need to wait at the public launch. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing

The property is beautiful. Loved the decor. It is some what secluded, tucked in a cove. Very relaxing. Was perfect for our group. I had several questions prior to our arrival and minor issues while there. The rental company was extremely responsive and very helpful. I highly recommend this house and will stay with them again.

Almost perfect

Its a great spot that feels far removed from society but is only 10 to 15 mins away fron a good size town with any supplies you might need. We caught several fish right from the dock. We saw deer, lizards and a flying squirrel. Only complaints were that the listing said there was a canoe andthere was not, and the thermostat in the master bedroom did not work so that side of the house stayed cold.

Great location

Property was great, management company was nice. our only complaint was the grill did not work. the management company knew it didn’t work because on our last day, a new one was shipped in by UPS and we had just realized it didn’t work the night before when we tried to grill burgers. The check in instructions said beach towels would be provided and there were none. I would have packed them if I had known. The cushions on the patio furniture need to be replaced. Everything else was great. The house was decorated nice and the lake is amazing. .

We stayed here for AU graduation and it was perfect! The house is older but well maintained. Setting was gorgeous and loved the porch! Would definitely recommend.
