Family Friendly 1981 house Great and Safe location with a 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Great getaway with a private swimming pool with slide on gated backyard. Perfect home to entertain the whole family with foosball table, billiard table and playground. To respect our beloved neighbors, we have 10pm quite time. Enjoy the cover porch outside with a sitting and eating area. Fully remodel on 2020.

The house was great! The only issue we had was the drainage from the sink..it was stopped up and took a while to drain..also the bathtub faucet doesnt work..its a shower only house,none of the faucets work..but the beds were comfortable, the pool was amazing,the house was cool and spacious! Loved it!

I absolutely loved it! The only thing that was an issue was there was no banister or handrail for the stairs. I cannot dwell on that because everything else was great. My family, which included my mother and sister, my son, his wife, my grandson, and two special need clients that are part of our family. This was our first VBRO. We chose that property because it was closest to my sister’s house who lives in San Antonio/Helotes. The kitchen was spacious lots of countertop room the table in the diner area accommodated all of us even when we were just lounging in the game room we wasn’t crowded up together. We watched while playing the pool table. My grandson, 5, ran around and played in the play area. He enjoyed himself as well. Overall, we enjoy it just being together. The property itself felt like we were in the country with lots of acreage but still in the city, just us. Unfortunately, to was too cool to swim, we enjoyed the view. I can’t wait to go again.

We had a great stay with our family at this property. Plenty of space and things to do as well as being located to a numbers of restaurants and shopping! Highly recommend.

Wonderful family vacation!

It was everything we hoped for except for one room only having a full size bed. The pool was clean and very refreshing. My 6 year old grandson loved it! The owners were very nice and came right over to turn the pool light on when we aaked. We will definitely be booking again!

The pool was great except the slide water tube was broken. No pool towels provided Pool table was great The kitchen was not stocked with anything, very hard to cook meals at the house Beware of a separate room attached to the master bedroom with a hole in the wall facing the master bed - we pushed the dresser in front of it, that was creepy The washer broke but the owner got it fixed the next day! House was roomy. Property was not well maintained. Landscaping was not groomed. Picnic table and swing set was rotted out and not usable. No pool house, it was used for old storage. Furnishings were dated and bed pillows were stained and disgusting under the cases. Not nearly enough essentials. Not even a wine opener. No extra toilet paper or garbage bags. The list goes on.

Great property and location. Super comfy beds. Photos a little misleading but they always are. Kitchen is not usable. Needs usable knives. There are two rusted, dull bent things that might have once been knives. Throw a cookie sheet in there. Pots and pans gross and yucky. Also. Sleeps 10 and 3 wash cloths and 11 towels provided. No pool towels or hand towels. Less than $150 bucks would turn this from good to outstanding.

NOT WORTH THE AMOUNT PAID

This was a very poor quality VRBO. This would be comparable to staying at a Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn. Everything was chincy and cheap. The front door handle came off in our hand with the 1st turn. Back Door would not close. Mattresses, bedding very poor poor quality. Washing machine smelt of mildew.The lawn has not been attended to in a long time which caused horrible mosquito problems. Roaches everywhere! Pool filter doesnt work so the pool was littered with debris. V05 shampoo/conditioner, no body soap except for 1 bath,no laundry soap.Shower upstairs did not work.Only 1 pool que had a tip. Located off an extremely busy road.Playground not usable. Shared driveway. Strangers walk through property to get to some camper that is parked adjacent to the property.Extremely Dissatisfied and wished I would have chosen one of the other places we looked at. Photos are not accurate.

Great time

The house was great, plenty to do
.swim, play pool, ping ping and football. The only complaint is the bed in the downstairs bedroom, it is terrible. The mattress is old with springs and it sags terribly, besides that, it sits almost on the floor. The bed is very old and needs replacing. We had a large group so we prepared a lot of meals. The cookware was good, just no baking sheets or pans and absolutely no knife that would cut anything other than butter. The coffee makers were tiny 4-5 cup size, there were 2 of them but 1 leaked. But
if you aren’t planning on doing much cooking there, the kitchen is good. The property manager replied quickly when we needed additional towels. I would stay in the house again!

So so vacation rental.

The home was big enough for the 10 people in my family who stayed there. The pool was nice. We also enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table. We did however have a few issues. I attempted to contact the owner twice, but no response. The downstairs air conditioner didnt work half the time and would blow hot air. There were fireants and cockroaches in the master bedroom. I would also add that there wasnt enough utensils and glasses. We almost lost a tire to finding numerous screws in the driveway. We were also disappointed that we couldn't enjoy the pool in the evening due to quiet time. A note was posted on the back wall of the home claiming the neighbor would call the police.

The property needs some TLC very badly! All of the shower heads & the kitchen faucet needs to be changed out! The washing machine needs to be fix as this was very much an inconvenience for my family & I! The grass needed to be cut. The pool guy would come & just put 5 - 7 chlorine tablets which made our kids skin burn. There is a waterslide for the pool, but no water hose hooked up to it. If anyone rents this house & your reading the reviews make sure you bring your own small wash cloths all though they tell you there are a total of 4 for the property there was only one. There is a fooseball table, but there aren’t any balls. The location for this is was probably the best thing it took us around 30 minutes to get to each destination that we went to.

The house is conveniently located to everything

They stay was decent. We arrived as someone (assuming manager) was leaving. Thankfully she was there because they changed the door code and didn’t say anything to us. They also stressed that we couldn’t have anyone else on the property which was fine, however, they also failed to mention that someone else shares the driveway and is and off the property all the time. It was fine, it just would have been nice to know. Also, the chlorine in the pool was extremely strong. The main bedroom also was so hot when the doors were shut. Which the owner sent over a fan for. Overall it was a good stay, just would have been nice to know those few tidbits or not stress that no addl ppl were allowed in the property. It was also weird to see a stranger just walking in the front yard. It took me off guard. The house is extremely close to so many things! We went to canyon lake and it was only about 30 mins away. There’s an HEB on the corner close to the highway dominoes and other places. We enjoyed our stay and would consider returning. We really enjoyed the pool and the outside area. I think we used that more than the house. We also loved the pool table and the foosball table.

Plenty of things to do

Between swimming pool, foosball, pool table and large table to play poker we were constantly entertained. Plus near restaurants and stores!

Not at all what we expected.

The slide for the pool was extremely hot as there was no way to hook up water to the slide so it was unusable. The playhouse was in the front yard with no fence right on a main road. The washing machine flooded the house, we notified the owner but got no reply. The trash has to be sorted into three different categories with only one small can available. Lamp on the bedside table with no outlet to plug it in. Mattress and boxspring on the floor. Shower heads need some vinegar or replaced. Faucets on tubs spin with no hot or cold. Ants in the upstairs tub as my grandkids were bathing. Had to purchase fans as the upstairs never cooled. NOT AT ALL WHAT THE PHOTOS LEAD GUESTS TO EXPECT.

How’s was great my family loved it .

The house was clean loved the pool, lots of space for everybody, the rooms are spacious and Loved that the house had multiple restrooms and showers because we are a big family we definitely will be booking this again in the future. We recommend this property and give it a thumbs up .

Friday got to house Ac had problem when we got there it was 85°. Got it working then sewer started backing up. Had owner come work it. Saturday had same issue AC stop working mid day and sewer line backed up into living room. Had to leave house due to issues and rent a hotel for 2 nights due to inconvenience.

Blanco Road Review

This property met our needs and my teenage grandchildren and just everyone in our group had a great time. It was well stocked with everything you need to cook and live. My teens loved having a place to enjoy with all of the amenities, pool, pool table, fuzeball and of course wifi!
