The cabin uses private well water with a treatment system. There may be a slight smell typical of well water — we recommend not showering with jewelry on.

Since we are located in the mountains, there may be animals and bugs around. We have monthly pest control, but because these situations are beyond our control, we are unable to offer refunds for them. Thank you for understanding!

We came to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The house was perfect. Our ages ranged from 21 to 69 and there was something for everyone. The location was very convenient to everything, yet far enough from the hustle and bustle to have a peaceful time as well. The setting of the house is beautiful, you have to experience to truly see just how spectacular the area is. I would highly recommend this home to everyone.

We had a very diverse group of people to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday. We had a great trip! The owners were immediate to respond to questions. The only suggestion I have is that I would pay to have the pool heated warmer if I had it to do over again. It was a little too cold for the little ones we had with us, but they loved it anyway! I would definitely consider staying there again if the opportunity arises.

The host was great the kitchen is like most pretty well stocked hot tub was nice and the pool was a hit by the water definitely wasn’t 82 degrees but the kids still loved it the rooms had plenty towels and soaps. We had a wonderful time with all 26 of our family

The cabin is beautiful and sits in a beautiful location however it is in desperate need of maintenance and repair. My biggest complaint is the water smells like rotten eggs. The neighbor told us that they have been battling that problem with that cabins water for a long time now. When you spend that much money to rent a cabin for a week you shouldn't have to deal with that awful smell any time someone showers or washes their hands. Plus we had to buy water to cook with because we were afraid to cook with the sink water. Black mold, decking boards coming up and loose electrical outlets aren't things you expect when you spend that much money on a cabin for a week.

We had a family reunion here.It worked wonderfully. It has absolutely everything inside and out.It was the 4th of July and there were beautiful fire works in the sky.The kids had a great time in the game room and the indoor pool. The adults loved the game room and pool also.We cooked amazing food in the well stocked kitchen.We also went to Pigeon Forge to ride a small roller coaster and had lunch at the Island ferris wheel.We also went Zip Lining. That was a blast. We drove to Gatlinburg through the mountains. It was absolutely beautiful all around. Our kids and us already want to come back.We did have some water problems but they were taken care of immediately. It was a great time and beautiful home.We are already planning to return.

We had the most awesome time ever. I brought our Church Youth Group. The only thing would be I wish the check out time was a little later. The price is steep for a church group but we will come again next year. The rooms was great, clean, spacious, so much to do. Thanks!

We chose Wears Valley because it offers the best of the Smokies without the hassle. You're just 10 minutes from the back entrance of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, yet away from the traffic and crowds of the main tourist strips. The roads here are flat and easy - no steep or winding mountain driving, which makes arrival stress-free for large groups, RVs, and trailers, in any season.

The valley itself is the scenery: rolling pastures, mountain ridges in every direction, and some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets in Tennessee. You'll find local favorites nearby - country diners, craft shops, and scenic Foothills Parkway just down the hill - while Pigeon Forge (20 min) and Dollywood (25 min) are close when you want the action.

It's peaceful enough to feel like a true escape, but close enough to everything. That balance is exactly why we fell in love with this spot.
