This simply-furnished yet inviting beach rental has been newly updated, including new patio doors, new fans, lighting, and interior paint. As well as new appliances and mattresses. Chapter 13 is outfitted with all the essentials to create a fun family vacation. The well-equipped, full kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home, with a dining table easily accessible nearby. Seating areas in the living area are positioned to allow you to see the beautiful Gulf scenery just beyond the patio doors. Outside, the spacious balcony opens onto a beautiful, expansive stretch of white, sandy beach in the quiet Fort Morgan area.

House was right on the beach with lovely views. I didn’t look back in the reviews far enough to see this house was right next to the public beach access. We didn’t spend all day outside because we have littles but I could see this being a problem in peak season. The floors creaked like crazy, only an issue with bed time. The bathroom faucet in the master was not installed right so it came off the wall as soon as the water turned on. Also the front door handle didn’t work (deadbolt did). Reached out over both of these issues. We received a message from VRBO but nothing further so we were down a shower all week. Overall this is a great house but maybe not the best option if you have littles

Paradise Again and again

Well, here we are again and again. This place is my peace and paradise and I'm the happiest version of myself when I'm there. Nothing every bad or negative to say about anything. It's perfect and I'm seriously thinking about declaring squatters rights next time I'm there and never leave. lol.

This property was just as described. Right on the beach and just steps to the water. The house was very clean and comfortable. In a nice neighborhood. We will be back!!

Perfect location for beachfront property!!!!!

We love staying in Fort Morgan and this has been our favorite house by far because the location is perfect!!!!!!!! It’s literally so close to the perfect beach spot we didn’t even need the beach wagon! The furniture and amenities are kinda dated, but overall fine!

Short vacation at 3 BR beachside bungalo

This house suited our needs pretty well, but its location next to the public beach access leads to other people setting up directly in front if the house. We came to Fort Morgan to get away from the noise, but there were boom boxes heard near there. The house looked great in the pictures but it is very much showing its age. For instance, the deadbolt on the door from the secondary bedroom to the porch was rusted shut. This was very disappointing to my daughter who very much wanted to use it. Also the GFI receptacle in the master bathroom was bad, preventing my wife from using her blowdryer. We checked the GFI reset button and the breakers, but to no avail. The floor in this house is spongy. There is no cable service, so the only way to watch TV was with streaming services which we didnt have. I wanted to watch a football game on Saturday but could not for this reason.There is a utility line hanging within 4 ft of the ground next to the parking area. When we came back from a restaurant one night we found the door entry code inexplicably wouldnt work anymore, so we had to call the 800 number that was provided to get a new code. No explanation was provided by management except for them saying "sorry". I would not re-book this location again. The house is fairly old with a

Best beach vacation

My family and I have always stayed in condos for our past beach vacations. I have to say, having a place to yourself right on the beach has forever ruined us. There is nothing like waking in the morning and having that first cup of coffee on the deck and having that magnificent view. There’s also nothing like falling asleep at night to the soothing sounds of the ocean. Other reviews have mentioned the house being next to public access. It is. And there will be people setting up chairs or tents near the shoreline. But I’m here to tell you that if you accept this ahead of time, and accept that these are only people who also want to enjoy the beach and not peasants encroaching on your royal estate, then you will be just fine. People were well behaved and friendly. The house has everything you need for cooking and was very clean. 20 minute drive to large grocery stores and other needs. Large tvs in every room with streaming services. Not a cheap stay for us. Not in today’s economy. But we left feeling it was worth it.

Great place and almost perfect

Great place overall. There were a couple things I wish I knew but they wouldn’t have kept me from booking and didn’t worsen my stay. The house needed a few more blankets in the house and some of the provided blankets needed a wash which wasn’t that big of an issue with the onsite washer/dryer. There were only two patio chairs which were not enough for the house. There were people all over the beach and left their belongings overnight with the public access right next door. It was the 4th of July week so I’m sure that caused it to be more busy than normal. All and all I would recommend and a nice stay.

Take a raincoat

This house leaks water around all of the doors and windows. Seems like this has been a problem for a while because duct tape was used to seal one of the bedroom doors. Had a storm our last night and all of our clothes were soaked from rainwater. Had to use towels to dry the floor.

Beach house

Not very private, beachgoers seem to camp out in the backyard. The house was clean and the king bed was comfortable. Had issues with the door lock the first couple of days but it was repaired. It could use a few more chairs on the deck. Loved the proximity of the house to the water.

Great for the price

Nice little house. Great for its price. The things to keep in mind: there is a public access to the beach next to the house. People put their tents at the shore not far from the house (the beach is not as wide as in other places). The water is shallow in this place. Great for kids.

We loved our stay and would definitely come back. The location was amazing, having the beach only a few steps away from the back deck. The home had the amenities needed for our small family and we loved the "quietness" of Fort Morgan. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

ON THE BEACH! 🐾

The beach is our favorite place to be and we have never stayed in a place that is literally, ON THE BEACH! This little place was perfect for us. We found it to be quite comfortable and we really liked that it is pet friendly! That’s mainly why we chose the place, for our little Bella’s first beach trip. She loved it and we loved being able to have her with us. She loved running and sunning on the beach. I liked the convenience of the detachable shower head that allowed me to bath her in the tub. She enjoyed watching the people and their pets walking on the beach. It was so nice being able to just walk down the steps of the porch and be, On the Beach! There were amazing sunrise and sunset views from the deck. It was also nice being able to sit on the couch and look out the windows at the beach and water. And we can’t forget to mention the amazing constant sounds of the gulf waves hitting the shore. Being right On the Beach has indeed added a lot of character to this house. I’m sure it has weathered quite a few storms. Love the little dips, squeaks,and creaks in the house, that gives it, it’s character. To be honest we were a little nerves about our chose after reading some of the reviews but once we got here we saw that the management had performed most of the needed upgrades… now granted there are a few other things that still need addressing but nothing that spoiled our stay. I’m sure by the time we return next year, it will be perfect!

The view is amazing!!

The best part of this no frills house is the view! The house was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed opening the doors on the deck and listening to the waves and smelling the salty air. So relaxing!!!

The location was nice except the beach access right next to it left you with little to no privacy, the house is in okay condition the master bedroom patio doors have duct tape on the outside my 10 year old set in a patio chair and it broke. The floors when you walk through the house move like there are soft spots and as we arrived the toilet paper holder was laying in the floor. Beds all suck honestly don’t waste your money here. I’ve stayed at a lot nicer for a lot less.
