Beautiful cabin in a beautiful place. Everything has been thought of, down to the marshmallow roasting equipment! The firepit, hot tub and gazebo are perfectly positioned for a view of the mountains. Cabin is stocked with everything you need, including spices! The MBR bed was comfy and the linens clean. Only thing I would add would be some blinds for the MBR bathroom. A LOT of thought has been put into this location and it is clear that these hosts are professionals. Thanks!!

Amazing view

This cabin was everything it says it is! View was amazing. You are on top of a mountain! So quiet and peaceful. Only thing I would suggest is they change out the beds it’s time for new ones!

We've been to this area many times and stayed at different cabins. This was our first time at Shooting Star. We loved it. Very clean, easy check in, easy to.communicate and perfect location. We will be back!

Great view and cabin was beyond our expectations: Only thing is I would have liked to had more than one bath towel and one wash towel per person.Had to wash every day. It was still a fantastic stay: Kena and Candice were great host and Kena went beyond the normal to help us in the booking.

Absolutely GREAT Rental!!!

We loved our stay at the Shooting Star
. My husband and I were traveling with another couple and we couldn’t have found a better place to stay!!! The house was spotless and the outside setting was amazing
 the gazebo, fire pit and hottub!!! The weather was beautiful also
 the morning we left it started raining and the next few days were when Hurricane Helene hit
 we were in Gatlinburg by then and other than the rain we were safe!!!! Would definitely go back again or recommend!!!

Lovely property

My husband and I spent a relaxing five days at this well laid out property. The cabin is in a gated community. We value privacy. There was only one other cabin that could be slightly viewed from the driveway currently, so we felt quite private. Quick responses to texts. Enjoyed the hot tub, grill, outdoor living. The cabin was very clean and perfect for one or two couples or small families. The television reception was a bit spotty at times, as disclosed. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Cabin and Location

We enjoyed the property. Stayed in a lot of high end VRBOs and this one was the most organized and they communicated the most. Beautiful location and property. Close to everything. A great choice if wanting to stay in the area. Hot tub and view were great.

Best views around

My husband and I stayed for a quick weekend getaway to reconnect. The house was quaint and perfect. The views from the hot tub were phenomenal we saw so many stars in the sky. Just short drive to Bryson City were we lunched and shopped and the casino where we had a great time. Will be back for sure.

A Wonderful Perch To View Fall Foliage

We had a great relaxing long weekend. The cabin is very convenient to numerous towns for outings, but the deck and views were the main attraction for us. I hope to return soon!

Mountain top

This is a little gem tucked away. Roads are a little steep but so worth the climb. The view is wonderful and the home very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with a great gas grill. We took the steam train trip in Bryson City. It was a fun outing. Highly recommend this vacation rental.
