RIGHT ON THE BEACH!
Really, right ON THE BEACH. The patio is less than 10 steps to the sand. Watch the surf from the master bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, and the patio, of course! Lots of privacy, too, as this condo is a corner unit facing away from everyone else. Comfortable, with air conditioning in every room. Convenient, not only to the surf, but restaurants on the beach at Los Perros and Colorados surf breaks. Panga Drops is only 70 meters away. Good internet. BBQ grill on the patio. Full kitchen. PERFECT!
The most private condo on the beach. At the SW corner of the Villas Iguana Beach condos, A18 faces the beach on 2 sides, with wide-open views from the master bedroom (on 2 sides - wake up watching the surf), living room (on 2 sides), dining room (on 2 sides) and kitchen (yep, out 2 directions). Airy and bright. Good luck finding better views or beach access!
Being on the ground floor is a real plus, too. No lugging your luggage or surfboards up and down stairs. Quickest access to the beach. And no palm trees to block your ocean views.
Guests have direct access to great surf breaks in this private development and a 9-hole golf course. There are five restaurants, four bars, a wine bar, two grocery stores and a fully-stocked surf shop. Surfboard rentals available from at least 2 locations. Surf lessons, too.

I did quite a bit of surf travel back in the day. On every trip, the main goal was to find great waves on beautiful beaches with warm water. The hardest part, though, was finding a place to stay that was close to the surf. Close enough to wake up, walk out and surf. Along the way I wrote a couple of surf travel guides for Costa Rica and Baja. That was a long time ago, but those books still sell well. Go figure!
Anyhow, during my travels I would dream about one day having a place of my own that fit those criteria. And I finally found the perfect beach with awesome waves, warm water in a beautiful country - Nicaragua's Hacienda Iguana. And on that beach there was a condo for sale. RIGHT. ON. THE. BEACH. I scored!
I still live full-time in Los Angeles, but every chance I get I head to Nicaragua to my little piece of paradise where not only do I get to enjoy everything I spoke about above, but I've made some great friends who come from all over the world to visit or live at this beautiful beach. I still have a business to run (marketing/advertising agency), but now I can do my work from my condo A18 and my clients are none the wiser. (Except when I get on Zoom and they hear the waves breaking in the background. Hehehe...)

ON. THE. BEACH. Step off the patio and onto the sand. Watch the ocean from nearly every room. Gated community. Wonderful people, from the locals to the expats - a really great group. If you golf, we have a 9-hole golf course. I don't golf, but my neighbor Martin is out there nearly every day, so it's probably good.
The beach is awesome. It takes a half hour to walk from one end to the other, and every minute is bliss.
Five restaurants on the property, a few bars and a new wine bar. Excellent food in all of them.
Two grocery stores, a surf shop, pharmacy, spa and more shops.
Surfboard, bicycle and motorcycle rentals. Boat trips for fishing and surfing.
