This place was awesome. Seemed better than the pictures. They had people show up every other day to clean so the place always felt clean. The pool was awesome. Great location right on the beach. We took advantage of the chef offering and it was great to have meals prepared and cleaned up, and they did all the shopping. I would highly recommend this place.

Cantamar is a beautiful house right on the beach. Everything was exactly as listed . Jose was a great concierge.super friendly and helped us with getting fresh fish and lobsters . Pool was awesome. Sunsets were beautiful, thank you Hacienda Iguana.

Beach heaven

Pictures do not do justice to the amazing Casa Cantamar. Eveeything was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beach is uncrowded and very walkable. We would love to visit again.

Casa Cantamar was amazing!

We came down to Nicaragua to surf and relax. Casa cantamar was like a 5 star resort in such a perfect location. All of the staff at Iguana are amazing and we loved it. The house is very clean, and everything worked perfect. Thank you so much we will be back!

Great weekend

The AC's in bedrooms worked great and tge sound of the ocean was amazing. We had a few hiccups but the property management team responded quickly!

Casa Cantamar was amazing! It was just what my family and I needed. The pool and grounds were kept clean daily. The housekeeping cleaned every other day. The house is simple, charming and inviting. No warning about the invasion of the crabs every night if you left the doors open but that was ok with us as it added to the charm of where you were. The animals would come alive after the rain and make the craziest sounds that could keep you awake at night so bring some earplugs. The surf was good the entire length of our stay and a long soak in the pool after surfing was amazing. Throw in an ice cold Tona and you were blissfully aware how special Casa Cantamar and Iguana were. I can’t wait to go back!!
Evening swimming was a great way to cool down before bedtime.

The Perfect Surf Oasis

Myself and 5 other friends spent 5 days at Casa Cantamar and upon arrival my expectations were already blown. The view from the FRONT door is amazing let alone every other room in the house. We were welcomed by our nighttime security guard because our flight arrived so late and immediately went out to the beach and were amazed by the waves and stars. After attempting to sleep we woke up first thing in the morning and were greeted by another member or the crew, Alejandra. She was the best thing other than the waves! Surf, eat, Toña, sleep. Some mornings have to start with Flor de Caña. Walk South along the beach and visit Gigante. Walk North and watch the sunset from the cliff. This spot is the best on the beach and within equal walking distance to Colorado AND Panga Drops. Go surf!

La segunda visita a esta casa. Playa hermosa, olas, y tranquilidad es lo que encontramos. Te la recomiendo.

absolutely awesome house

if you are looking for surf, as i was, casa cantamar is perfectly situated on two great surf spots. affordable luxury is the best way to describe this house. definitely get on the meal program as the food was awesome as was the girl who did all of our cooking and cleaning. thats right all of the cooking and CLEANING. we were treated like kings.
