What an absolute joy it was to stay here for a long fall weekend! The house is walkable to the sweetest little town and we had a lovely, cozy time staying inside all day one of the days because of rain. Great for families 3 - we can't wait to come back!

Everything was great about the price and location. My son wanted me to have a peaceful and fun birthday weekend. The pictures do not do this place justice. Check in was easy. Plenty of room. Bedrooms are large. I loved the sitting area off the main bedroom.

Every aspect of this property was superior most important were the little touches that you wouldn’t expect to see. It was like going to a relatives house. A wonderful back yard with various seating areas with the same being true inside. The kitchen was exceptional and bedrooms comfortable. I can’t say enough about it plus lastly to say that Frenchtown is a dynamic treasure.

The house was absolutely spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything exceeded our expectations. The neighbors were warm and friendly, and the charming town was just a short walk away, with great restaurants, lively bars, and the amazing Bridge Café. Delightful home in an awesome location!

This home has great history and there’s an artistic flair in every piece of furniture and decor. It’s a short walk to a park with a trail along a waterway, with cool shops and eateries right around the corner. The beds and showers are perfect for a restful stay. There are plenty of places in the home for everyone to find a quiet spot as well as comfortable gathering areas.

Cozy Frenchtown getaway

We loved the space! It was well appointed, clean, cozy and perfect for our weekend. We love Frenchtown, having family in the area we have visited often. Being there for my mother in law’s celebration of life was a relaxing comfortable spot for our family to stay. Being able to walk to Napoli was a guilty pleasure! Recommending it to others!

À propos de l’hôte

Hôte : Scott Deter

Image de profil de l’hôte
We have lived in Frenchtown for over 20 years, and love this town, the river, and this circa 1880's house.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This home is historic, quirky, and comfortable. It's walking distance from the Delaware River, downtown shops and restaurants, and Artyard, as well as public parks and hiking trails, and the popular bike path that runs from Frenchtown to Trenton, NJ. Winters here are cozy and quiet, spring is bursting with color, summers are filled with river fun, and autumn in Frenchtown is bustling with activity and awash in seasonal hues.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Parking is a premium in Frenchtown -- we have three off-street parking spots, accessible from an alley directly behind the house. We also have an outdoor shower -- those who know, know ; )
