This guest had several bookings of our property. Each time would come to check in or check out outside of the booking schedule. As for example, the check in is 4pm and the check out is 11am. The guest will show up at the property at 7 am, 8 am, 5 am , even the night before the day of the start of the booking, late as 10 -11pm. The guest would also leave the property late, as 1pm, 5 pm, etc.
We were nice and accepted these extra time ins/outs because it happened that at the time there were no other guests to leave or come in the same day and, the room was available.
However, when at the last reservation, we could not accept early check in, like 7 am or so, because the current guest will leave by 11 am , and the room had to be cleaned and sanitized, Mrs. Jamila became very rude, agitated, and started making requests for refunds that she has not been entitled to. Our refusal, only made her to escalate the arguments, several messages sent to her , explaining the situation were ignored, and she kept coming up with more reasons, unrelated to the booking, for what she id due a refund. The room was ready by 4pm, as it was the start of the booking at that time. We contacted VrBO explained the situation, reported the guest and, asked to be blocked for future bookings of our property.
The comments the guest lmade , are simply, brazen lies. For example, the room is furnished with toiletries for each guest. Anything left over. after the booking ènds, is replaced with new item for the next guest. Sometimes, some guests choose to take some unfinished/unused toiletries items, and that is just fine. As a house rule/policy, we do not enter the room during a booking, unless the guest is present and expressly ask for supplies, repairs, or help with something.
Surprisingly, the guest did not mention that once, she forgot/lost a pair of earrings in the room, and she was notified about, and, items returned to her on next visit. Instead, she is falsely and, purposely claiming of some soap disappearance.
A last note about this guest is the use of alcohol on the premises, and so, breaking the house rules.
It's kind of disappointing experience, and we definitely don't recommend this guest to anyone.
