This property was a true hidden gem. We loved everything about it. From the location, the friendly people, to the quick responses from the owners. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone searching for a home away from home. The view was absolutely stunning.

This home was a great set up for our group of 6 couples who love to water sport- amazing location (especially for barefooting) & plenty of space in the home for privacy in our own rooms. The kitchen set up plus plenty of outdoor seating was great. For us, it's all about the time on the water & we were thrilled with the location plus the large dock. We brought 4 boats & they fit great with using with our inflatable bumpers (the 8' length cylinder kind). It was a nice plus to have the Blackstone, ice maker, and golf cart to get all our ski gear & coolers down to the boats. We would come back!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect, and the lake and dock made for an ideal spot for the family to relax and spend time together. The stairs down to the dock were manageable, even for those in our group who might have trouble with a long climb, which was a big plus.The house itself was very clean, the AC kept everything comfortable, and the deck with view were wonderful. Most importantly, the owners were fantastic—very responsive and attentive. We had a maintenance issue during our visit, and they quickly responded and resolved it.Overall, this was a great place for a family getaway, and we would absolutely stay again!

Fantastic property

Home was perfectly located for boating fun! Smooth water, sunrise views and amazing dock! Perfectly accommodated our large group of 18. Golf cart use ensured even those with mobility issues could join in!

Family Time

Great house on Norris.

The drive way is flat with lots of room to park the boat trailer and cars. Short walk to kitchen made it Easy to unload vehicles. Large walk in pantry and two refrigerators for lots of food storage space. Open floor plan with Kitchen, large island and dining table all with lake view. Ice machine downstairs so you don’t have to bring ice. Twin slip covered dock with ladder and chairs on sundeck was a favorite place to swim and paddle boarding. Option of golf cart makes hauling coolers and towels down to the boat easy, but many preferred to take the stairs.

The perfect family getaway

The house was clean and well maintained. Plenty of space indoor and outdoor. Location is very quiet and peaceful. There is an amazing dock that allows for easy access to the lake. The lake is beautiful and clean. We made so many great memories with our family and definitely recommend. Dave and Rita were wonderful to work with.

Perfect place for a family vacation

The property was perfect! We had more than enough space for our large family of 10 adults and 9 kids. Multiple places to sit, eat and relax without being on top of each other. Great dock to enjoy the water and swim. Location is near two marinas so we could easily go grab a bit to eat and shop. Aside from the lake view, some of our favorite features were the hot tub, large deck, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, multiple refrigerators, ice maker and the covered lower patio (sheltered us from the rain so we could still enjoy the outdoors). The hosts were so kind and responsive to our needs. We didn't want to leave! Would highly recommend this vacation home.

New Years Stay

Our family from GA and family from OH chose this house as a halfway meeting point for the holidays. We made so many memories and shared so many laughs. This property was beautiful even in the winter. The hosts were very responsive with any questions we had and were very kind. My only “complaint” is that the bathrooms water pressure was almost non existent most times. I’m sure that the hosts are aware and are on top of it!! I definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone with a large group, no matter the season!

It was good, not great.

We arrived on Monday afternoon and the owners have parking lot cameras and were apparently watching us, as I got a call about a situation within minutes of arriving. It was kind of weird, because we were then wondering if other cameras might be hidden throughout the property. I will say the house it's self is beautiful, and has plenty if seating and the kitchen is well stocked and beautifully decorated. The oven is a different story. I don't know if it needs recalibrate or what but we burnt 3 different things after just minutes of them being in the oven. That was frustrating. Cleanliness was ok. We have a 11 month old and 19 month old and they continuously found little rubber bands all around the house and were putting them in their mouths. It seemed that the cleaning was sub par before we arrived. The garbage cans outside the listing were completely full. The trash was picked up on Saturday morning as we were leaving but all but 1 can was jam packed full when we got there. We had 14 adults and 6 kids and had no where to put the trash. And there are repairs being done in the basement and it seems like they had some water damage or flooding. The carpeted stairs are slick especially when you're walking in socks. 2 family members slipped on the narrow steps. We were also missing a set if sheets when we arrived so we had to let a stranger in to get them for us on Tuesday. Over all it was good but not great. But it could be great with a little cleaning and privacy.

Excellent Home, Great Experience, and the Best Vacation

We really enjoyed out stay at this home. The home had plenty of room and amenities for all our needs. The new dock was awesome and the outdoor space was very nice and clean. Dave and Rita were great hosts and responded very quickly to a couple of items that needed to be addressed. The only item that affected our experience was the internet access. Sounds like Dave and Rita are doing everything they can to help get that resolved, so stay tuned!!! We loved out experience!! The Jackson Family and Friends

We reside in Ohio, we have been vacationing on this beautiful lake for many years and have always dreamed of buying our own place, this became a reality and we are so grateful, since we cannot be here full time, we are offering this home as a rental for many to enjoy this beautiful lake. Come and enjoy the scenery at our spacious home.
Our property offers many wonderful features already but we plan to add some personal touches of our own.

This home is located in a quite community. Located within minutes of Powell Valley and
Flat Hollow Marinas. There is a community boat ramp within a half mile of the home, to launch all your lake toys.
The scenery is beautiful, this retreat is set on a wooded 2.5 acre lot, which is peaceful and private.
This spacious home is large enough to accommodate your needs. Either for a large family, or possibly multiple families to vacation together.

This retreat is located on deep water and boast a double slip dock, with jet ski pads, a golf cart path to the dock and a dockside sun deck to enjoy sun and the fun on the water.
