Summary:
Welcome to The Syd. Set in a hidden paradise just minutes from the French Quarter, The Syd offers six poolside suites for large group getaways.

The Space:
This 8BA/4.5BA space features an incredible living area with two sectionals, a huge 85” TV, and two murals depicting a concert in the French Quarter. The dining room has a beautiful custom- built pecan dining table that can comfortably seat 16 people, three chandeliers that were made by a local lighting designer, and a second 85" TV.

The Syd revolves around its outdoor space and you'll have access to the heated outdoor pool, cabana, hot tub, sauna, Finnish "bucket" shower, regular outdoor shower, and outdoor kitchen. Note that these outdoor spaces (pool, hot tub, sauna, and grill areas) are shared with the other suites at The Syd.

The Neighborhood:
The Syd is centrally located between the French Quarter/Downtown and the Garden District. There are coffee shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance and you’ll be a one minute walk from the famous St. Charles Streetcar which you can take to both the French Quarter and Garden District.

Other Things to Note:
Note that the outdoor spaces (pool, hot tub, and grill areas) are shared with the other suites at The Syd. For the security of our guests, we have external recording devices (security cameras) located in the common areas. These are exterior only.

All outdoor spaces (pool, hot tub, sauna, grill area) are open from 8am-10pm daily.

This property is equipped with a noise monitoring device. It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels). This device also monitors occupancy and cigarette smoke.

Clean, Fun, and Ideal for Work & Play

Stayed from June 28 to July 1 for a work trip with friends, and The Syd was exactly what we needed. The accommodations were perfect clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The vibe of the place really matched the rhythm of New Orleans, creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere.Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out, and the space felt welcoming and well-maintained throughout. It struck a great balance between being work-friendly and ideal for unwinding.Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a clean, stylish, and fun place to stay in NOLA. Looking forward to coming back!
