Welcome to Palmer Four, your home away from home in beautiful Baker City, Oregon. Our cozy studio is located just two blocks from downtown in the historic district, surrounded by charming Victorian homes.

As one of four apartments within a Victorian house, Palmer Four offers a unique and intimate stay for our guests. This upstairs unit boasts a private kitchen and full bathroom, providing all the comforts of home.

The kitchen is equipped with an oven/stove, microwave, sink, Keurig coffee maker with locally roasted Sorbenots Coffee, and a quaint eating nook for two. Curl up in the brand new queen-sized bed and enjoy a movie on our large smart TV, complete with a YouTube TV subscription. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming accounts to watch their favorite shows and movies.

The bathroom includes a tub/shower with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as well as a hairdryer for added convenience. Please note that this studio is located on the second level of the home, accessible by a charming, curving staircase.

Palmer Four is the perfect choice for those looking for a comfortable and stay in the heart of downtown Baker City. You`ll love being within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and pubs.

Don`t miss out on our new outdoor gathering space, including a gas firepit and swings, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The BBQ grill is also available for all guests to use.

Immaculate and convenient

I have friends who live in Baker City so I booked the Palmer House to have privacy and not be under their feet all the time. It worked out perfectly. I didn't use any of the kitchen things (not a coffee drinker) but was impressed with all that was available. The place truly was immaculate! The floors did squeak in places, but that is part of the charm of an old house. Great location and walkable to restaurants and downtown Baker.

My daughter and I both have Asthma and this studio's wood floors and non-smoking promise were true for form. Thank you! They also have a clear dog policy for people to follow; we have a small dog and appreciated the respect they ask for those who stay with a dog. It was very clean, felt refreshed. It is a quiet area. I am also not used to hot weather, so I asked the a/c be turned on longer than usual before arrival and the room was perfectly cool on arrival! Thank you! Will stay again!

So cute and cozy! We loved the fresh bread that was still warm in the bread machine, thank you. The air conditioner kept the room nice and cool and the mattress was comfortable so we rested well in-between our super busy days. We would definitely stay here again.

Class Reunion Week-end

After a bit of a glitch getting into my room I found my time at this property very enjoyable & comfortable. I was in Baker City to attend my class reunion. Having music from my era playing as I arrived was a nice touch. I found the touch screen for check in/check out very convenient. Wine offerings for purchase was definitely appropriate for the season, however I was not familiar with the process for purchase. Jason obviously researches interests that might appeal to his guests.

Absolutely adorable!

I enjoyed my stay so much that I booked again before checking out! This is a great location and unit for a single traveler like me. It's centrally located to Main Street, superbly clean, and incredibly charming. The manager was very responsive when I had a question.

Cute, clean and organized

This small apartment was an easy walk to the city center, organized and clean. We were welcomed by the smell of fresh baked bread which was waiting for us in the bread maker. We were only there one night but could easily have stayed longer with the a kitchen that had everything you would need for a longer stay. The tile work in the kitchen and bath added some whimsy and brightness to the space.

Cozy, Comfortable, & Efficient

This studio was well supplied with all we needed other than our food and clothing. The bed was comfortable and the coffee delicious. I thought the stairs would be MY challenge, but I was fine with the great handrail. Our dog took one look at the stairs and said, "No way!" We tried to encourage him, but Tom had to carry him up and down whenever we went anywhere. That is the only reason we would not return to this particular site. We are looking forward to returning to Baker City, and will look to your other places without a doubt!

This is a second floor room. If you have difficulty with steps this is not the place for you. However, Once in the room, it is inviting and comfortable. We were greeted with the aroma of fresh baked bread.
