Incredible Oceanfront Oasis on Alii Drive!

Enjoy prime oceanfront living at Dolphin View Alii Drive, a beautiful four bedroom home perched over the Pacific Ocean on famous Alii Drive. This one-of-a-kind oceanfront oasis is perfect for small groups and families wishing to enjoy peace and luxury on the Kona coast. Built with panoramic ocean views throughout, this popular two-story home has an oceanside backyard, complete with a newly installed hot tub, that is perfect for lounging and sunset BBQs. The home is located only a short distance away from famous Magic Sands Beach, as well as many gorgeous surf and snorkel locations. The first floor of the home opens to a spacious living room and kitchen area that offers plenty of room for groups and families to relax and enjoy the sights of sounds of the ocean. A full laundry room and a guest bedroom with a queen size bed complete the lower floor. An indoor fishpond accents the bottom of the staircase to the upstairs.

The second floor has three bedrooms, each one with gorgeous ocean views, as well as a lanai for relaxed outdoor seating. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a large en-suite bathroom with a tub and shower, as well as private access to the lanai. The middle bedroom has a king size bed that can be converted to two twin beds (upon request) and the third bedroom has a queen size bed.

The home is perched over a beautiful "Queens Bath" that is filled by the splashing salt water waves.

The host was great - our flight was delayed and we didn’t get to the house until late. I had asked for some outside lights to be left on - lights on the outside and inside were on! Great beginning. Easy check in and check out. We loved every minute!

The house is in a beautiful location right on the coast with the constant sound of soothing ocean waves! The kitchen was well-appointed, and my 8 yr old loved exploring the warm tidal pool. Would definitely stay there again

Dream vacation home

Would stay forever if we could! We had the best time just hanging out with Ohana and enjoying the backyard. The home was beautiful and accommodated our multigenerational family so comfortably. Came with everything we needed for our stay and we cooked most meals at home easily. Will definitely book for our next trip back!

This house was amazing, the views when you walked in the front door, and visible from pretty much every room in the house, were fantastic. Super easy check in process and great communication with the property managers. We needed to adjust our stay and they were very prompt and willing to help. The home was cozy and comfortable, had a ton of amenities, and was spacious enough for the 8 of us (4 adults, 4 kids). The pool below the house was also a much bigger bonus that I thought it would be. It is very big and has a sand bottom. It's deeper than I thought it was based on the pictures, but in a good way so that the kids could swim around in it.We were there during the Kona storm, so our plans were derailed for several days, but we enjoyed watching the massive waves crash into the shoreline from our lanai. The location is also great, easy drive into Kailua-Kona for dinner or to the grocery store (Safeway and Walmart are both close), and also convenient to hop onto the Queen K highway to head out of town. We went for a run several mornings and there is a great bike lane on both sides of the road that made it safe for running in either direction, with frequent ocean views.Overall, the stay here was really great and I would absolutely stay again!

perfect house for our family of 6! can’t beat the sunsets. we enjoyed fishing out front and the sea pond was fun discovering sea life. Property managers immediately respond when we had challenges!

Beautiful home in the best location.

This home is beautiful and in a perfect location for an unbelievable vacation. You could easily stay at this house all week just lounging on the back lanai gazing out at the beautiful ocean. An easy walk to magic sands beach or a great home base for short road trips to hilo, volcano, waipi'o valley etc. Amazing golfing nearby as well. Best stocked kitchen ever in a rental home. Property managers are the best and respond to all inquiries very quickly. I would not hesitate booking this home and hope to be back one day. Best family vacation ever!!!!

Amazing home on the big island

The home is beautiful and only had a small issue with the AC but the property manager was very reactive in trying to resolve it. The views are as shown and you will love them.

Best House!

We spent 10 glorious days at this beautiful property and loved every minute! The views are incredible and sleeping to the sound of the ocean is magical. The house is perfect for a family vacation. There is enough to do without leaving the house! They had everything we needed. We even got engaged on our trip so it will always hold a special place for us. I highly recommend this place. It is PERFECT.

Dolphin View House

This is a very nice home, with superior views. We were able to see dolphins and turtles as well as yellow tangs and black triggers from the huge deck at the rear of the home. The kitchen is the most equipped kitchen we have ever found in a vacation rental and we travel to the islands every 15 months. The Property Management team was quick to answer any questions we had.

Wonderful oceanfront location

We enjoyed a lovely stay in Kona, made possible by this beautiful beachfront home. Plenty of room for our group of seven to spread out, while the gathering spaces - particularly the outside sunset facing patio - were wonderful gathering places. Fantastic sunsets every night, and no more than a 5-minute walk to Magic Sands Beach and Magic's restaurant. Snorkeling is possible immediately below the property, if you don't mind walking on lava rock to get there. Or you can go to a cove between this home and Magic Sands Beach... maybe a 3 minute walk. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, including sharp knives (rarely encountered in my experiences with rental properties). Overall a great place at a reasonable price; we would recommend it to anyone.

60th Birthday celebration

First trip to Hawaii for my wife's 60th birthday. Awesome experience. House right on the water. Salt water pool behind the the house was awesome. No need for sound machine since the sound of the waves did that for us naturally. Saw whales jumping out of the water the second morning. House was perfect for our group.

Awesome stay at the Dolphinview house!

My family and I just finished an 8-day stay at the Dolphinview home and we loved it! There were seven of us, three couples and a single adult. The home gave us plenty of room and we all had privacy when needed. The kitchen was stocked well and very clean, the living area was open and very comfortable, the dining table sat our group easily, and the patio had room for us all! We also used the jacuzzi several times, and the grill, not to mention the very convenient beach chairs and towels, which we used about every day. Of course, the views can't be overstated, they are amazing from almost every window in the house. It never got old seeing the ocean and the swimmers, boats, and paddleboarders going by, and yes, we did see some dolphins! The location is perfect, about a quarter mile from Magic Sands Beach Park and only a half mile from Kahalu'u Beach Park - two of the best family swim and snorkel spots on the western shore! It's also a quick drive south to the local grocery store or to the restaurants and shopping to the north. We loved our time and left with some great memories!

All around wonderful

Overall I cannot rate this property higher! This was exactly what we were looking for. This home is right on the shore, and we spent HOURS just enjoying the waves in comfort. The queens bath below made for a great place to enjoy some water at home. The house itself is incredibly comfortable, fitting perfectly in that space between "I'm on vacation and want luxury" and "I also want it to be comfortable and easy to relax in." Its also an easy jaunt by car to Kona, and a short walk to two beaches one of which has great snorkeling. Again, this was about as close to perfect as we could have hoped. For our group, this was WELL worth the money. The only downside I can think of is that as renter you do not get use of the garage. there is a pull through, and plenty of driveway space, so certainly not worth taking off any points. I'm certain this was mentioned in the house's page somewhere, I just didn't read it or had forgotten it.
