The southern facing great room is filled with sunlight, has hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and a wood burning fireplace surrounded by stone. The neighboring sunroom features tile flooring, large windows and two skylights that help warm the house in the winter and brings the outdoors inside, a great spot to relax! The sunroom offers a desk and chair with large monitor, Bluetooth keyboard and printer.
Step into the impressive kitchen with custom cabinets, granite countertops and beautiful tile backsplash. It will be easy to cook up your favorite meals. There is both a dining room and a breakfast nook. The master suite has a king bed, a lovely gas burning kiva fireplace and a large flat screen TV. The ensuite bath features both a tub and a walk-in shower and has plenty of light. There are two more bedrooms on this level, both with queen beds. Downstairs is a large bedroom with full over full bunkbeds (sleeps 4 kids or 2 adults comfortably). Hand-hewed logs enhance the living spaces throughout the house creating a true sense of the mountains. There is a huge backyard. Don’t miss the large bristlecone pine for which this cabin was named. Bristlecone pines are extremely long-lived and are usually found above 10,000 feet in New Mexico. Step out onto the stone patio to breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the beautiful views. The patio has wrought iron furniture, a propane grill and a charcoal Weber grill. It’s the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or to stargaze. There’s a washer and dryer for your convenience. This home has 3 TVs, all with Roku sticks to allow you to log in to your own streaming services. There is also a one-car garage and plenty of parking. This home is closed to town with easy access. None-the-less, we recommend 4-wheel or All-wheel drive vehicles for anyone coming to the mountains in the winter. The driveway will be plowed.
