Great view and comfortable house

We really liked this house! Great view of the water and other islands. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Not much seating but good for 2 people. Washer and dryer were a nice to have available.

A wonderful stay

Loved this place! The open & airy layout, the balcony, the pool ,the view. Quiet & private location. Nice furnishings & appliances. We had a few rainy days during our stay, and didn’t mind just hanging out at this lovely condo. Having a washer and dryer is a big plus. Can easily recommend this host & property.

Spacious accommodations.

Clean property. Access Road is very rocky and rough. It was nighttime when we arrived and google maps was not so accurate. At times it took us in circles before getting to the house. Perhaps the owner could meet guests at the airport on nighttime arrivals. Bed was comfortable. Napkins or paper towels would be nice. Great view. It’s a place I would stay at again.

On Top Of The World!

I Will Be Honest, The Drive Up Can Be A Little Intimidating! Once You Do It A Few Times It Becomes No Problem. When You Arrive You Will Be Amazed! Most Beautiful View Ever. Nothing Like It. Out Door Space Is Wonderful And The Small Pool Is A Delight. Location Is Perfect For Seeing The Island! Would Definitely Recommend.

We just returned from Tahiti and found it to be a warm, friendly country. Our stay at Moetama Lodge was good. For the most part, all went well. We weren't able to use the safe as the previous guests shut the door and they were out to sea. The owner said she didn't know anything further about it and it's a safe place. There was no hairdryer but the owner brought it the next day. We have traveled the Carribbean extensively and realize bugs can be an issue. We had ants on the counter from day one and owner said there was spray under sink but there was only Ajax cleaning spray. Put all food in the fridge. Had an issue with a swarm of wasps and a mouse one day. Was not able to open all doors because of mosquitos. The pool is concrete and needed a little work but nice to have. A portion of the road up to the lodge is like driving on the moon so don't let that deter you from going. View is amazing.

Stunning view and very relaxing

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. Vaiana was diligent with connecting with me via WhatsApp. If you arrive in the evening it will be difficult to find your way to the lodge. The pictures from the welcome email helped us a lot. It is a very steep drive up, so if you plan to rent a vehicle, you should rent an automatic. She and her staff was very accommodating to our family. They already had the bed made for our 3 boys that was sleeping in the living room space. There was fruit and also water there to welcome us which was very nice of them. The swimming pool is pretty deep (5 feet or more deep) and was very clean. Air conditioning is only available in the bedroom but there is a fan in the living room space. In the morning we opened up all the sliding doors and the breeze was very nice coming through the home. The refrigerator was very cold and spacious. It was nice to be able to adjust the coldness of the fridge. I love the stove! It took some time to understand how to use it. I suggest you YouTube it. The washer and dryer was a little challenging to use, but of course we YouTube (:-) We enjoyed the family time and memories we were able to create. Oh...can't forget....under the tv are board games. That came in so handy for us. The only challenge we had was the day of check out. The water stopped running and I did not receive any communication until after check-out time to let me know what was going on with it. It was a bit frustrating getting a family of 5 ready for an event with no running water. I found out that it was a cut from all the mountain homes..so everyone else was also impacted by it. If you plan to take your family, you might want to stalk up on extra toiletries items so that you don't run out of anything. I preferred not to bother Vaiana and her staff about that. Wifi works but is slow if too many people are connected. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. My biggest highlight was watching my kids enjoy the view and swimming pool every morning and evening. Before we left for the day...the kids would swim as early as 7:30 or 8am. When we arrive back home around 6pm, they would swim again. This home is a true gem! Thank you so much Vaiana for helping make our stay so memorable!

Lodge parfait !!

Accueil très chaleureux dans ce lodge très bien équipé, avec sa belle piscine. La vue est exceptionnelle, on ne s'en lasse pas. Nous recommandons fortement !!!

A Hillside Paradise

We stayed for 16 nights and had a blast. Property is super clean and is well appointed. Having your own swimming pool while being able to lookout over the ocean and see Moorea is amazing. Perfect place to chill and enjoy nature and the evening breezes. Will book again when we return.

We design and build this property with my husband. We love the emplacements for its view and calm but our children prefer to live next to the beach🤗! So we decided to put this house on seasonal rent to give others the opportunity to discover this place.
