Spacious, bright walk/ski-in/ski-out* duplex with ample parking
Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on Schweitzer Mountain, steps away from all of the action, this spacious duplex cabin is the perfect spot for a ski, snow, and nature-filled getaway with family and friends. After a full day on the mountain or out on the lake, gather together in the large open-plan living area with a full kitchen, dining, and comfortable living space. Enjoy the ultimate cozy winter experience by curling up by the fire and taking in the expansive views of snow falling on the evergreen trees and mountains surrounding the home. Create lasting memories day after day, filled with unbeatable skiing, good food, fun games, laughs, and a restful nightâs sleep.
The first floor of this side of the duplex consists of a one car garage with an electric car charger, large boot room, bunk room (2 twin beds, couch and armchair), and half bath. There is a security system in place that covers the perimeter of the home. A common hallway and stairs lead to the upstairs unit.
The second level has an open plan kitchen, dining, and living room, master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, guest bedroom with adjacent full bathroom, and a private washer/dryer.
The third floor loft features two full sized futons, a table/desk with computer monitor and a full bathroom.

- Kitchen stocked with Nespresso machine, spices, and basic condiments
- Small deck with electric grill
- Electric vehicle charger included
- Parking for one car in garage and 3 cars in front of house.
- *Ski in/ski out is when snow conditions allow and is most accessible to intermediate+/advanced skiers by following a trail that includes a short/steep hill through the woods across the street. There is also easy walking/skiing access for all ski levels that involves a walk up a flight of stairs and down a condo access driveway to a cat track. For beginner skiers, itâs often easier to drive 2 minutes and drop off at the Fall Line Parking lot (bottom of Musical Chairs lift)
- This listing is for one side of the duplex (4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms). We own the other side of the duplex for personal use, and we are there occasionally. Weâre here to help with anything you may need when weâre around, but will also allow you space and privacy, if preferred. We also have a local property manager available should there be an issue and we are not there.
For over 15 years, our family enjoyed this home for our winter and summer holidays. When we first purchased the home, we were living overseas and saw Schweitzer as our home-base when we visited family in the area. We have had many memorable times here with our family and friends, and hope you do as well.
Recently, we established a private foundation, Foundation for Equity and Justice. We placed this home into the foundation with the goal of making a vacation on Schweitzer an option for many families, while meeting and serving the goals of the Foundation. The mission for the Foundation is to support organizations that focus on designing and implementing corrective solutions to historic inequities and injustices in the areas of economics, education, race, healthcare, and the environment.
Rental income will be donated to non-profit organizations that support the goals of the Foundation.
While weâve only moved across the hall, this home will forever be special to our family. Weâre proud to have the opportunity to share the home with you, your family & friends.
