Very bright & nice 2/3 bedroom cottage with convenient in town location.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the front sun porch or walk to town for breakfast and visit the shops. This island home is a delight. Beloved traditional island home with a steep staircase and most bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and small bedroom off kitchen with accommodate teens or kids. This house has window a/c .Linens and Towels Provided. Even a Pack-N-Play for a little one. ( No Washer and Dryer)

Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund  of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

We loved this house. Very nice neighborhood, clean, quiet and convenient to Main St. and shopping. The beds were comfortable and a great value for the price.

House smelled like cooked fish when we first arrived and also had some sand on the floor, but without an outside shower that makes sense. This location also does not have a washer which was difficult since there is no longer a laundromat on the island.

Loved the decor and location BUT..

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved everything about the house except... because it didn’t have a washer and dryer, I wouldn’t rent it again. I never bothered checking because I just assumed a house would have one.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in great location and cute on the outside. The inside was horrible, once we went in had a horrible smell of something bad, there was sand all over the floor and they were sticky, the kitchen had the worst ants I have ever seen in the sink and all threw the kitchen, there was plate of food left in the microwave that was infested with ants. The Bathroom has mold all in the bath tub and the shower curtains both had mold, the inside one was the worst, we tried to buy a new one because they are so cheap but no where on the island had one. We ended up leaving early because the house was so unclean. It’s a very cute house and great location but the cleanliness was horrible. I truly do. Or think the cleaning company or whoever is in charge of clean this property was there before we stayed. Which is a shame because it’s a very cute house.

The Perfect Chincoteague Experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We don't like cookie cutter condos and prefer to stay in places with character. This house was perfect for us. It's an old house and has the creaky floors, steep stairs, and low door frames to prove it but the it's charm and location more than make up for any wear and tear. We were able to walk to everything going on downtown and the beach was a few minutes drive away. We were really sad to leave and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we enjoyed our stay. You can’t beat the location. The cottage is clean and the beds are comfortable. It gives you a quaint, Chincoteague experience. However, we did not have any towels provided, mosquitos were bad and the floors needed a deep clean. The property could also use some pest control for spiders and ants.

Chincoteague vacation

Everything was clean. There were a few areas of obvious wear in the home. There was no closet space. It’s listed for up to six people, I wouldn’t recommend that many. We were extremely happy with the property and location. We could easily walk to almost everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Charming island house

We love this charming island house. It had enough space to provide a comfortable stay for our family of 6, the neighborhood was quiet, and the location is within a short walk or drive to everything. When we arrived the AC was on, the house was clean, and the Chincoteague island decor gave a charming welcome. Although we didn't get a chance to use it, the fire pit in the back yard was a nice addition.
